Rottmnt didn't want to be as dark as the other iterations, right?

Casey Jr's mere existence makes the show a lot darker on it's own

He lived through an Apocalypse and lost all his loving family and probably also some other fucked-up shit

How would they keep the show lighthearted with him around?

Would they just never bring his trauma or mental illness up? No, that would be bad writing, and they wouldn't want that, would they?

Would they have to kill him

⬆️ Ha! NO! That also would also be Dark! But, then again, plenty of lighthearted shows have at least 1 death. probably

But then, would they just have to ignore the rest of The Gang's Grief? Again, that would be Bad Writing.

One of the things that happens at the end of the movie is Casey Jr gets adopted by Casey Sr and April (the ones from the 2003 dimension) and just leaves to 2003 (with goodbyes and promised visits of course)

Please it would be so funny and I think it's exactly in character for Rise
