im on youtube looking for something, as you all do at 1am and then the side panel was like ‘hey here are some good ole rec’s’ and now im in a passions downward spiral.
almost all of theresa’s family members chime in to vouch for her that little ethan is indeed ethan’s son but nothing could have prepared me for paloma’s comment @ 2:20 ‘she just kept making a lot of mistakes’ (theresa lopez-fitzgerald: a summary) or ethan’s comment right after paloma’s of ‘wait WAIT a minute--You All Knew???’
ethan is literally one the stupidest fictional men ive ever laid eyes on. she literally named her son ‘little ethan’--why do you do you think she did that ethan??? it’s not bc the name is that great, kinda bland tbh.
pls watch this video as theresa reminds ethan in front of her family, his family, her son, gwen and rebecca, all of harmony’s 20 residents--of that night they had sex on the beach thus conceiving little ethan. oh and then an earthquake happens.

Likely due to Passions' school-aged target audience, the show often presented large, wild storylines for the summer, which often took place outside of Harmony. In 1999, a carnival came to town as characters were introduced; 2000 saw the Prom Boat Disaster storyline and 2001 witnessed the failed double-wedding of popular couples Luis and Sheridan and Ethan and Theresa, and their subsequent journey to Bermuda, where Sheridan apparently perished in a boat explosion and Theresa wound up married to Ethan's ex-stepfather, Julian Crane. In 2002, Julian and Timmy set out on a journey in the magical land of Oz as Theresa was "executed" for Julian's "murder"; 2003 saw six characters (Chad, Whitney, Fox, Theresa, Ethan, and Gwen) travel to Los Angeles for the summer (and into October), while, in 2004, Luis and Sheridan traveled to Puerto Arena, Mexico, to retrieve his younger sister, Paloma (and ended up finding his missing father, Martin, and her "dead" mother, Katherine). The plot of the summer in 2005 was a deadly earthquake and tsunami, which destroyed much of Harmony and resulted in the death of James' mother, Maureen, while 2006 saw the extravagant Passions Vendetta plot,[34] in which Alistair lured seventeen people (Whitney, Simone, Paloma, Chad, Ethan, Theresa, Gwen, Lena, Spike, Jessica, Maya, Noah, Esme, Fancy, Luis, Beth, and Marty) to Rome, where he planned to take over the world with a chalice stolen from the Pope's private chambers; the plot saw the death of Lena, Maya, Alistair, Beth, and Marty.
Summer 2007 saw the resolution of the "blackmailer" storyline as Vincent Clarkson was revealed to be the half-man/half-woman blackmailer, and Luis Lopez-Fitzgerald was saved from execution for Vincent's crimes by Endora's spell that turned back time in the execution chamber. In 2008, the show spent its final summer on the air wrapping up its plotlines at a rapid pace, with Alistair Crane being killed once and for all, the final showdowns between the main characters and the newly introduced villains Viki, Juanita, Pretty, and Vincent, Tabitha's redemption as a born again Christian who sacrifices her powers to save the residents of Harmony, the return of Antonio and his reunion with Sheridan, the mass weddings of Fancy and Luis, Paloma and Noah, Miguel and Kay, and Edna and Norma (the first gay couple ever to go down the aisle on a soap opera), and Gwen and Rebecca being exposed for their crimes as Theresa and Ethan finally married.

but kept gettin DERAILED by GWEN HOTCHKISS who u wanted to feel bad for bc HELLO 2000′s Ethan #1 was her MAN FIRST but like---damn gwen was a bitch right?? (but why?? bc james c riley SAID SO)
but also bc the never ending plot of THE ETHAN CRANE TABLOID SCANDAL
while theresa was doing a rendition of ‘She’s All That’\Ugly Betty\Ew Glasses Girl (SHE DID THAT SHE REALLY DID THAT. SHE PRETENDED TO BE SOME UGLY DUCKLING AND GWEN THOUGHT SHE WAS HER UGLY FRIEND BUT REALLY THERESA JUST WANTED 2000′S SOAP OPERA ARMIE HAMMER)--
anyway , the tabloid scandal that lasted the entire run of the show--about how ethan wasnt a crane, but a BENNET bc IVY was doing SAM but married JULIAN for $$$, and theresa AND whitney find out and pilar is like ‘dont tell anyone!!’ but gwen and rebecca (her mother) found out about it and plant the story in some tabloid that apparently EVERYBODY reads and frames Theresa
and OF COURSE the tabloid is printed and sent to all 20 residents of Harmony on the day of theresa and ethan’s wedding!!!
and proving that she DIDN’T DO THAT is therea’s plot for 7 seasons!!! and ethan NEVER believes HER but believes EVERYTHING gwen tells him bc he’s a fucking idiot.
(meanwhile theresa suffers, gets with fox crane (UPGRADE) but it doesnt last bc she’s always obsessed with ethan even when they recast him :(((
Tabitha plots made the show better IMO bc there’s only so much ethan obession u can take

Ethan Crane was Still The Worst bc he couldn’t make up his dumbass mind between Gwen and Theresa--like CONSTANTLY and then when she ‘tried’ to move on he’d suddenly be like ‘Oh HEY theresa’ (fuck u ethan)
and FUCK u john c riley for never giving theresa someone else to temporarily be obsessed with (what the fuck was even the jared plot line??)
but also rest in piece john c riley bc he truly gave us a masterpiece where he did EVERY RIDICULOUS PLOT BECAUSE HE COULD--harmony zombie prom, harmony reenacting titanic, carrie prom (???), the red voices in the attic, TIMMY being the only voice of goddamn reason in harmony, that one year alistar tricks the entire cast to go to rome one a murder tour, the tsunami in HARMONY which they placed somewhere near BOSTON (OKAY!)
to THIS DAY i cannot get the theme song out of my head, which for some reason i always pictured charity singing it?? bc it was annoying and i found her annoying also.
