I did a really old fanmix yourself thing so if you wanna know more about me my gr9 taste in music, here’s a  Spotify playlist! Song meanings below:
01. a song that makes you want to fall in love (Talk About You, MIKA. it’s so uplifting and thrilling and wow, I want that kind of emotion in my life)
02. your favorite pump up song (Work Bitch, Britney Spears. what gets u moving more than Britney reminding you pool parties aren’t free)
03. your favorite song to rock out to (Baba O’Riley, The Who. Can’t say why, but it’s such a jam. those piano chords. mm.)
04. a song that reminds you of summer (Who Said that Time was All We Had, Summer Heart. everything they do is dreamy and hazy and good but this one is the first song i heard)
05. your favorite cover of a song (Wagon Wheel, Jason Manns with Rob & Rich, because i like the original but i love theirs more. because Richard’s voice, and because it’s a way better key for me to sing along.)
06. a song you sing in the shower (Cosmic Love, Florence + the Machine. I like feeling like a  pagan ritual is happening while i bathe)
07. a song that reminds you of someone (Don’t Stop me Now, Queen. I love all Queen songs, but this one is one of my best friend’s favorite songs, and we used to sing it in the car together.)
08. what you want your wedding song to be (All About Us, He is We and Owl City. I’m pretty sure it was written for a wedding because of how well it fits? all eyes on us, lovers dance? yeah)
09. your favorite 90s/2000s song (Mr. Brightside, the Killers. I didn’t get into the killers until way past the 90s/00s, but it’s one of my faves)
10. a song to heal a heartbreak (Small Town Moon, Regina Spektor. All her stuff is Good but this song really cuts to the heart of a lot of my problems and it sounds nice and reassures me.)
11. your favorite song from a girl group (Closer, Tegan and Sara. They count as a girl group, right??? also im queer)
12. a song you know all the lyrics to (Fireflies, Owl City. okay, so everyone knows all the words to this one, but I know the whole album and this was the song i heard on the radio, frantically googled the lyrics at home, and was hooked on.)
13. your favorite oldies rock song (Long Time, Boston. A great song for in the car when you’re on the highway alone.)
14. a song by your favorite artist (Holding Onto You, twenty one pilots. idk if they’re my favorite artist of all time, but this wouldn’t be a me list without one of the songs off vessel. this one is my favorite.)
15. a song that you like to fall asleep to (Raining at Sunset, Chris Thile. I’m just getting into folk, and I heard this gem on the radio on a long drive. It’s a little lively, but no words for me to attempt singing.)
16. a song that makes you feel invincible (Immortals, Fall Out Boy. it’s all there in the title, plus fall out boy *shrug emoji*.)
17. a song that makes you feel better when you’re down (Welcome to Your Life, Grouplove. I love grouplove, and this one is all about picking yourself back up and making the most of it.)
18. your favorite holiday song (Lost Christmas Eve, Trans-Siberian Orchestra. I have a lot of favorite holiday songs but i think the title track for this frankly stellar Christmas rock album has to be my pick.)
19. a song that is from a genre of music you don’t usually listen to (We Were Rock & Roll, Janelle Monae. Not usually too into R&B, but I saw Janelle in Hidden Figures, looked her up, got hooked on Electric Lady.)
20. a song you associate with your favorite book (Of a Friday Night, Anais Mitchell. The last book I absolutely couldn’t put down was the Night Vale Novel. This song is my favorite that’s been featured in the Night Vale Podcast.)
