Pulling names from the calendar is a family tradition, but their mom figured Hollow (hidden, secure place) made a better name than Halo (glowy hat) or Hallow (not even a word, probably). Their dad grabbed Valβs name, vaguely aware of the holiday's meaning (chocolate).
