No one asked for this but that is kind of my M.O. in life.

Dipster anatomy. They're weird little clay moles who can shift and shape and bite you on your freaking head. They primarily stay underground because the tunnels help keep their gooey bodies in the right shape.

My friend said they look like invader zim creatures.

Greetings, hello, it's funny you mention. As I was already formulating some excellent specbio for these Monsterum Sing.

As you can see in this very small image I've concocted, Noggins cannot comfortably exist without a shell. It's their skin equivalent, their carapace. To remove them from one would be like sucking crab meat out of a crab claw.

Which is to say: painful and bad, and painful, and baaaaad. Do not remove the Noggin Armor. "But how do they retreat into the shell with all those organs? There is no room!" Correct. That is not physically possible with the proportions I've given. The reason behind this is that I am not intelligent.

...Oh yeah. And Shrubb is there too. They're not really relevant to the conversation at hand but that didn't stop me from thinking about their anatomy too.

I gave them eyestalks because I thought it set them apart from all the other Plantae Humanoidus on the Plant Isle. Visually, I mean. Shrubb has always been a weird design to me, I feel like they could do so much more with their squatted posture. Or Something.

Anyways their lengthy legs made me think that oh, they're mimics. They're meant to mimic trees. It's camouflage. I know the eyestalks are not essential to this design choice.

"They're named after shrubs, Knave" okay, and? Are you just going to deny how well everything else lines up? huh? huh? huh? hu

I'm very tired.
