Don't worry about it lol#The pets are the important part!#Speaking of pets - the return of Joel ♥ With some design modifications to make him a little more recognizable in black and white haha#The red's great but it's pretty abrasive lol#I actually considered giving him wings the first time around but they would be an extremely rare trait so I waffled too long#I'm pretty settled on them now tho ♪ They're just a special little accent detail for the Vargases specifically haha#They get special treatment because they are special so there#It could be to do with them sharing a pet lol Scriabin used all the leftover coupons on just the wings#It'd explain how he has them despite being +0 lol#And that they get a double special appearance in his battle form >:3c#Anyway lol#I still don't know how to draw animals but since Wafer was already on my mind it just seemed like a great matchup ✨#All the JD pets are predisposed to play with each other outside of battle and these two work well together :D#Little pink-and-red predator types haha ♪#I didn't realize til way too late but they're also the first (and currently only) ones with a pet cat lol but that's such a common pet!
