Like, I'm imagining you STAY 100% covered because in most militaries visible tattoos are a big no no. I don't think the 141 is as strict since Ghost and Soap have some, but they do tend to keep their tattoos pretty well covered. So, you follow suit. You're always in something to keep you fully covered.

It seems as though my shadow is still holding onto my fear; my fear of hurting others if I go wild. Wild meaning uncensored self. I hate that part of being a human, our nature of going crazy and wild with no apologies. It sounds freeing but I don’t know how to do it without a certain filter. I don’t know where the line of self respect and disrespect is.

Maybe there isn’t a line and I need to get past that fear or maybe there is but I have to test the limits and experiment. Either way it’s scary, scary to maybe hurt someone unintentionally or turn people away from me. I don’t want that I want to be heard but at the same time not to cause others to shut down and be scared themselves. The balance is something we strive for but not something we can hit all the time. We learn from trying and that is enough.

I’ve been trying for years only pushing little by little because I hold shame for my wild side. It’s hurt people I loved, it’s hurt me because of what others have done back in response. You deserve self respect and self love, don’t let others make you feel like you can’t speak up. My throat center has been blocked for a long time because I never thought what I said held weight; look at me now. I’m speaking what I think maybe not to a huge audience but to the tumblr community and the internet. Your worth every step, hold space for yourself today and build that self respect!
