feyre dostala svůj dopis do bradavic, a to mi neuvěříte, když jí bylo jedenáct. nestě a elain bylo v té době stejně. všem třem, na oslavu zimního slunovratu, přišel dopis, který je vroucně zval do školy čar a kouzel v bradavicích. feyre byla nadšená. vždy snila, že odejde z toho místa, kde ona a její sestry žily. jejich matka, která už byla pěkných pár let pod drnem, se o ně nikdy nestarala a jejich otec na tom nebyl o moc lépe. a tak byla feyre z obdrženého dopisu nadšená.

nesta ne.

nesta se nechtěla bezhlavě vrhnout do jakési ‘školy’ kde by se měla učit pochybnému umění magie.

ale jela i tak.

když sestry 1. září usedly do bradavického spěšného vlaku, hned po chvíli se spustila hádka. příšerná. feyre, která byla nedočkáním bez sebe, už nemohla poslouchat, jak si nesta pořád stěžuje. jako argument poté přidala, že by to mohla být jejich příležitost jak se něco naučit, mít školu a potom příležitostně pomoci otci. nesta odpověděla, že jakmile bude moct z téhle školy vypadnout tak to udělá. a pak otevřela starou křivdu. feyre otevřela jinou. a pořád dokola. elain potichu skákala pohledem mezi nestou a feyre, jako na nějakém tenisovém zápase, a jedna strana právě měla setball.

nesta to nakonec nevydržela. zvedla se a vyřítila ke dveřím kupé. v nich se ohlédla na elain v tiché otázce. elain ještě naposledy zatěkala očima mezi feyre a nestou, a pak se zvedla a odešla pryč.

to bylo naposledy, kdy spolu feyre a nesta mluvily.

feyre poté potkala přátelského chlapce, luciena. zjistila, že on je z pokolení čistokrevných čarodějů, ale že mu nečistokrevní lidé nevadí. a stali se kamarády. feyre a lucien. lucien a feyre.

později byla feyre ráda, že se spřátelila s lucienem. ten ji totiž představil chlapci, se kterým prakticky vyrůstal. jmenoval se tamlin. a ten si ji hned oblíbil, i když feyre netušila proč. rozhodla se nad tím moc nedumat.

to co feyre totiž v té době neznala, byl původ její matky. a tamlin ho, čirou náhodou, samozřejmě, znal. rod její matky byl silný, velmi silný. měla ten největší potenciál stát se tou nejsilnější čarodějkou na celém šírém světě. a tamlin s ní chtěl být zadobře. její síla by mu mohla být ještě k užitku.

feyre byla zařazena do zmijozelu, společne s lucienem a tamlinem. nesta do havraspáru a elain do mrzimoru.

všechno ji bavilo a ve většině předmětů dokonce excelovala (profesorka prýtová, která učila bylinkářství, jí jednou na celý měsíc vykázala ze skleníků, ale nejsme to od toho abychom mluvili o tomto). jediné, co si nikdy nevyzkoušela, byl famfrpál. i když ho milovala. i když znala všechna pravidla, sestavy nejrůznějších světových týmů. i když by mohla odříkat celou knihu famfrpál v průběhu věků pozpátku. tamlin tvrdil, že dívky famfrpál nehrají. když se kvůli tomu jendou skoro pohádali, došlo feyre, že jestli ztratí tamlina jako přítele. bude sama. o lucienovi už dlouho pochybovala, jelikož se jí nikdy proti tamlinovi nezastal. 

a tak se s tím smířila. smířila se, že famfrpál bude milovat pouze z tribuny. že se nebude snažit tamlinovi odporovat. smířila se s tím, že se její, do teď, zvaní kamarádi asi nezastanou. 

ale bála se, že by mohla skončit sama. tak jak byla sama celou tu dobu před příjezdem do bradavic. a tak, se skloněnou hlavou, nic neřekla, a žila dál.

Muitos de vocês estão cientes do encerramento do SETBAL (o único seminário cristão de Maceió). Quando aprendemos isso em janeiro passado, nossos corações estavam sobrecarregados. Embora entendamos que, com um menor atendimento, é menor a taxa de matrícula e, sem a taxa de matrícula, as contas não podem ser pagas - ainda nos entristecemos com esta notícia. Se apenas uma pessoa quiser aprofundar seu conhecimento de Cristo em um ambiente universitário, ganhe um grau pastoral ou de liderança, ou qualquer coisa nesse sentido, eles deveriam ser capazes de, sem ter que ir a outro estado!

Ao orarmos e procurar maneiras de mudar essa situação, tornou-se um grande desejo no coração de nosso pastor, pessoal de liderança e muitos membros para abrir um seminário. Com muita pesquisa, trabalho jurídico e orações, tudo aconteceu e temos o polegar para cima do nosso estado e de Deus para iniciar o IBC Seminary of Maceió. Esperamos e rezemos para poder começar nosso semestre em alguns meses e pedimos que você reze com a gente! But, by the grace of God and according to His divine will, He has worked things out for His glory.

Many of you are aware of the closing of SETBAL (Maceió’s only Christian seminary). When we learned of this back last January, our hearts were burdened. While we understand that with small attendance comes less tuition, and without tuition the bills cannot be paid - we were still saddened by this news. If only one person wants to further their knowledge of Christ in a university setting, gain a pastoral or leadership degree, or anything along those lines, they should be able to, without having to go to another state!

As we prayed and search for ways to change this situation, it became a big desire in the hearts of our pastor, leadership personnel, and many members to open a seminary. With a lot of research, legal work, and prayers, all has come through and we have the thumbs up from our state and from God to start IBC Seminary of Maceió. We are hoping and praying to be able to begin our semester in a few months and we ask for you to pray with us! This is a big step, but with God’s guidance, it will be one to help shape His Kingdom on earth.
