To be honest, I don't really trust FIA to take decisive action if RBR breaking the budget cap turns out to be true.

They will never, ever take away that championship from Verstappen because it would mean FIA losing their face over it, especially after that whole "investigation" they had after Abu Dhabi.

The most likely outcome will be a fine and RBR being stuck in racing purgatory for a year or two, just like Ferrari was after the whole illegal engine saga.

I know Binotto is that bitch who will not invest in a good strategist but will invest $$$ on private investigators, so... Mattia, please, release whatever info you and Torger have on RBR.

That ‘punishment’ for the cost cap is so unfair. The fine is nothing. Toto already said that if it’s just a fine they are wiling to break the cap and get back to the front they way. Ferrari will do the same. That’s unfair on the teams who haven’t been able to meet the cost cap. I’m all for it, but it needs to be policed fairly. But of course it’s RB who are winning so they won’t. I hate this ‘sport’

I hoped in a more stiff penalty like removal of constructor championship points - reducing access to wind tunnel is also a fair compromise.

The minor fine though... That's just peanuts to a team like RBR.
