At the second semi-final of the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, Käärijä, who represented Finland in 2023, made an appearance as part of the interval act with host Petra Mede.
During the performance, Mede speculated what an interval act would've looked like if Finland had won. Then, dancers in towels--as if they were in a sauna--and dancers dressed as the popular Finnish character Moomin Troll came out on stage and danced to "Ievan polkka." Subsequently, Käärijä came on stage and performed his Eurovision song "Cha Cha Cha."
At the end of his performance, he shouted "Thank you. I love you. No war."
