Na hiljade Čačana prisustvovalo spektakularnom koncertu Riblje čorbe na Gradskom trgu
Legendarni muzičar Bora Đorđević održao je spektakularan koncert 22. marta u svom rodnom gradu, Čačku, povodom proglašenja Čačka za prvu Prestonicu kulture Srbije. Grupa Riblja čorba oduševila je nekoliko desetina hiljada ljudi na Gradskom trgu  nastupom koji je trajao preko dva sata. Čuveni Bora obratio se svojim sugrađanima sledećim rečima: „Ja za sebe kažem da sam Čačanin, ali na privremenom radu, svi ćemo se mi jednom vratiti ovde pod Jelicu. Čačak treba da bude prestonica kulture jer ima Točka, Kralja Čačka, jer ima mene i mnoge druge ljude iz sveta muzike, ima sportsku kulturu Mišovića, Kičanovića, Obradovića, i još koliko njih, da nekoga ne zaboravim sada, imamo celu reprezentaciju, pa recite mi koji drugi grad ima tako nešto”.
Uz ovacije i horsko pevanje publika je uživala u hitovima, među kojima su: Ja ratujem sam, Odlazak u grad, Lud 100%, Jedino moje, Nemoj da ideš mojom ulicom, Avionu slomiću ti krila, Nemoj srećo nemoj danas, Dva dinara druže, Rekla je, Ostaću slobodan, Kada padne noće, Kad sam bio mlad, Lutka sa naslovne strane. Amsterdam, Dobro jutro,.... U pesmi Pogledaj dom svoj, anđele gosti na bini bili su školski horovi iz Čačka koji su dodatno doprineli moćnom zvuku i pozitivnoj atmosferi. Saksofonista Goran Bojčevski pridružio se Ribljoj čorbi na nekolko pesama, a posebnu euforiju izazvalo je izvođenje čuvene pesme Zadnji voz za Čačak.
Bora Đorđević je pre koncerta imao prijem kod gradonačelnika Čačka, Miluna Todorovića, koji je pozdravio Boru zajedno sa košarkaškom legendom iz Čačka, Radmilom Mišovićem. Nakon toga Bora je imao susret sa medijima u Kulturnom centru Čačka u okviru najave programa „Čačanske rodne“ - Čačka nacionalne prestonice kulture Srbije 2023. godine.

tbf while the overuse of english phrases can be annoying in croatian this isn't necessarily something new - one only need look into the medieval and new age plays to see lingua franca (italian, latin, german, turkish ) seeping into the commoner language is just a thing that happens when you have a foreign language that's as widely used as the native one. we can be morose abt it but ultimately it's a natural aspect of language evolution. we wouldn't have a lot of dialectal vocabulary if it weren't for this kind of mixing.
That is fair, but i feel like there's a difference in not having a choice but to adopt and adapt, and very much having a choice and just kinda rolling over (hence the cuck comparison).
Like, we didn't have a word for a džezva so we borrowed it from Turkish - we don't have a word for "cringe" so go ahead and say "krindž".
I feel the problem comes when you speak Croatian, but 75% of your production is just fully English sentences, which happens. I've unfortunately been subjected to it way too much by now. It's not a case of "A postaj to na story, a ja ću screenshottat i forwardat Marti" <- you can say post, story, screenshot, forward in Croatian, but it's not the end of the world if you say them in English. The problem is when you say, "Super ti je ispala fotka, you should post it" <- conversations where entire clauses are spoken in English between two people whose first language is shared, and not English.

NOVO POGLAVLJE U KULTURI I DIPLOMATIJI
Veliki javni panel pod nazivom „Kultura i diplomatija” u organizaciji Zavoda za proučavanje kulturnog razvitka (Zaprokul) održaće se u PONEDELJAK, 28. novembra u 19 časova u Domu omladine Beograda (sala AMERIKANA).
Ovo je još jedan u nizu javnih panela koji su namenjeni široj publici, sa namerom da se pokrene dijalog i unapredi istraživanje kulturne diplomatije, probude nove ideje kod kreatora spoljnopolitičkih i kulturnih strategija, da se pokrenu nova istraživanja kao i javna diskusija o pitanjima odnosa kulture i diplomatije. Nove teme i aktuelne poglede u oblasti kulture i diplomatije Zaprokul je predstavio u 173. broju časopisa KULTURA.
Kroz prizmu istorijskog iskustva, preporuka iz prošlosti i osvrtom na aktuelne odnose u spoljnoj politici, učesnici u panelu koji Zaprokul organizuje u Domu omladine Beograda predstaviće različita razumevanja kulturne diplomatije i njene primene. Odnos „meke i tvrde moći“, značaj kulturne diplomatije globalnih sila u Srbiji i na Balkanu kao i značaj kulture u spoljnim odnosima Evropske unije, uloga kulturnih institucija u osnaživanju kulturne diplomatije Srbije, uloga i značaj umetnika i naučnika u okvirima diplomatskih inicijativa, samo su neke od važnih tema o kojima će se razgovarati na ovom panelu.
Na panelu će učestvovati autori tekstova, kao i širi krug sagovornika iz različitih oblasti:

Priče što su prekinute bez kraja i tako osuđene da zauvijek žive. Momenti koji nam bilo kad i bilo gdje od srca mogu načiniti izudaranu, punu rupa pikado tablu. Rečenice što su izgovorene samo jednom i nikad se više neće vratiti. "Bojim se sebe kad sam kraj tebe. Da mi kažeš da skočim s mosta, uradio bih to.“ Osjećaj kojeg jutrima redovno ispireš iz usta, kao nekad peračice odjeću na rijeci. Uzalud. Sjećanja koje svake noći kidaš u glavi kao poster sa zida kojeg si prerastao. Džaba. Za sve one što su oko sebe izgradili zidove, hladnije od najhladnijeg stećka, da bi ih se i Mak Dizdar prepao. Zbog trenutaka ludila, nježnosti i strasti, kad sve do podneva nisi mogao raspoznati šta je bio san, a šta stvarnost. Kad ste kao osuđenici na smrt koji se sreću prvi i zadnji put. I imate na raspolaganju samo usne i dvije minute. Za one ljubavi što postoje samo u mrklom mraku, daleko od svega i svih, tamo između pišanja i spavanja, kad se sretnemo sami sa sobom u zrcalu. Pa se naslonimo na lavabo da nas održi na nogama. A oči nam čatrnja koja se prelijeva poslije olujnog juga. Sebi nije dobro lagati. Jer nema tog Valentinova, filma ili knjige...Jok. Ovo traje kad sve prestane. Kad se spusti zastor u kinu, kad prođe dugi popis glumaca na mračnom platnu, kad se u žamoru raziđe publika i navuče zadnja naramenica grudnjaka u zadnjem redu, traje i kad iziđeš na cestu, na vjetar, na mrzlu zimu, traje kroz sva godišnja doba dok hodaš do stana, traje s kim god legneš i kad god se probudiš. Gdje god se probudiš. U djetinjstvu su nam visoku temperaturu i groznicu gasili mokrim čaršafom i rakijavim čarapama. Ali taj osjećaj...jači je od kompletne narodne medicine, moderne farmacije i rakije. Ko nije doživio, zdrav je i sretan čovjek."

JOKER OUT: The audience knows we’re a real thing, not just a three-minute performance.
Before the frontman of the Slovenian band Joker Out knelt in front of a Serbian audience last Friday and on their request sang “Đurđevdan”, the popular band that gained international recognition at this year’s Eurovision received a Golden Record for the single ‘Carpe Diem’. On this occasion, Zoomer spoke with Jan Peteh and vocalist Bojan Cvjetićanin, whom the Serbian audience especially like because of his background. Bojan and Jan told us that they look at their Eurovision success from a distance, reveal details of their tour, as well as when the awaited third album is coming out.
Which city has been the most memorable one on the tour so far? Where would you like to perform and haven’t had the chance this time?
We liked it the most in Ireland, England, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. This year we’ll miss a few countries we’d like to go to, which are Italy, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, there’s plenty. I think next year we’ll perform in some of the countries we missed this year. Nothing is confirmed, but the team has hinted at us about the possibility of going to Australia, America and Japan next year. We want to return to many countries, especially ones in the region. It’s really intimate, homely, the audience is warm, they greeted us better than we could’ve expected. Just love.
That means next year is reserved for a tour too, can we expect some new music or will you be busy with gigs?
The first half of 2024 we’re going to live in London, where we’re going to create and record the new album. In March and April we’re having a month-long tour, then summer festivals and at the end of the year another headlining tour. So a new album is coming out next autumn. We hope. (laughter)
Is it true that the new album will be in multiple languages?
It is. It’s going to be in at least three languages, which are, of course, Slovenian, Serbian and English, and it’s possible we’ll throw in more.
The unexpected boom after Eurovision has, on the one hand, given you a stepping stone, and on the other hand perhaps forced a prefix that isn’t always appreciated in the music world. What do you think of that?
I would absolutely say that it was a stepping stone for us. I believe that our result shows we’re not just Eurovision participants, but we have proven to the public that there is some sort of story and a longer period in which we have been creating and that this is a real thing, not just a three minute performance. The fact that we are coming to Europe, that people are buying tickets to our shows and singing our songs for an hour and a half, is enough of an indicator of Eurovision was a catapult for us as you could wish for, and that we have passed that moment of a few minutes.
Do you maintain friendships made at Eurovision?
We hang out a lot, yes. With Käärijä, Luke Black and many more, Monika from Lithuania, Let 3, we keep in touch with the guys from San Marino, we even performed with Wild Youth on our UK tour.
Where do you like to spend time in Belgrade?
Jan has only been here for performances, but I spend the most time around Cetinjska Street, I’ll say Marsh. (laughter)
What do you think about socially engaged music, are there any topics you particularly care about?
As a band we agreed not to take a political stand. We’re a group of musicians and we always speak out if a violation of human rights is in question, but for other political matters we’re not the right people to ask. We don’t think it’s fair for us to influence people because we have opinions. Just because we’re famous and have some kind of influence, we don’t have to be objectively right. In terms of social topics, we already sing about them in our songs. Our job is to bring people together into one space and to create a feeling of closeness, love and unity in them.
