J'avo Headcanon .03

Behavior/Personality/Other

China Facility: He was fairly calm and simply followed orders since he was still new to being a J'avo.

Lanshiang Incident: He was what every other J'avo was: strong, resilient, and persistent. He was a leader among his allies. He could give orders and take no shit from anyone. He was a relentless killer, sparing no one he found. No sense of humanity was in him. He met Nemio in this time.

Post-China: After Carla's "death", he left Lanshiang. With his team dead, he "recruited" Nemio to follow him so that he could still have someone to order around. Weeks without much activity in the hive mind caused a shift in his personality. He gained humanistic quirks over time, mainly because Nemio was experiencing the same change. They spoke more to each other, began to gain more character than just being killing machines or drones. Prikriti turned out to be extremely protective of Nemio (mainly because he was his subordinate), and thus became very possessive. This possessiveness carried on to other things such as his signature mask and machete. He had more anger issues than Nem; him being more apt to chase targets down and kill them if they so much as looked at him strangely. Nemio would eventually cap this behavior, holding him back if he didn't think it was necessary. This led to a small divide between right and wrong for him. He did not consider Nem as a "friend" but as his.

Russian Facility: When they returned to Carla, the hive mind had already told them to find her. Under her supervision once more, Prikriti became more docile to an extent. Carla took an interest in them both because of the character they had developed. Pri began to try and impress her. He would do everything she said, would bring her "gifts", or kill for her. This was also the time he suffered his first mutation. It left him feeling weak rather than stronger--even though he was physically stronger with it. It felt like a constant reminder of failure. That he couldn't do what she'd asked of him good enough. Operative had to give him a suppressor injection, which was very painful and took over a day for it to merge with the virus, even with his regenerative properties. It was during the recuperation process that he began to feel differently for Nemio (more like a friend).

Post-Human: The black out resulting from turning human left him very confused. The time spent as a human had somehow changed him and he feels that Nemio was a part of it. This is the time he acquired the wedding band. He also lost Nemio afterward, leaving him confused even more. The ring, along with the man known as "HUNK," would trigger relapses of memory. He suffered severe headaches and migraines and in extreme cases he would pass out. The amount of anger he suddenly gains after being human rivals and even surpasses the angry nature he had in Lanshiang. HUNK would trigger severe bouts of rage, though he rarely met him after turning J'avo again. The ring left him with a strange mix of emotions he couldn't explain: confusion, happiness, sadness, anger, rage, depression, longing, hopelessness, apathetic, and something that could be called affection... Though this feeling is what confuses him most and results in the anger bubbling to the surface. (If he could remember what happened between him and Nemio, he would either shun him away now that they are infected or drag him into running away from Carla forcefully). He is left empty and to roam on his own until he finds a way back to Carla.

Estonia: Eventually he wanders into a town when he feels he may be able to handle society again. However something triggers another memory lapse and the uncontrollable emotions that present themselves to him have him go into a mass murder killing spree.

Post-Estonia: His mind is faltering even more often and he's very unstable. The virus is fighting with him as he plans to return to Carla with the intentions of killing her. But the hive mind is still active and poses an obstacle for him. If Carla were to listen in on the connection long enough, she could simply have him exterminated before he even gets back to her. And if he even managed to get that far, being so close to her would over ride any other intentions he has other than to please her. So he plans to get rid of it. This is also the time he meets Pai and becomes a little bit more social in turn.

Experiments: The experiments done on him by Wesker have left a permanent tear in the hive mind for him. A detailed lab report was kept by the blond, not released to be seen by anyone else (not even the J'avo in question), and once he was no longer of any use to him the J'avo was let free.

Post-Experiments: Prikriti is not exactly as hostile as he used to be. His mind has cleared significantly--he no longer blacks out or suffers from severe migraines anymore due to the virus--but there are bits and pieces of strings that connect him to his "brothers." He no longer hears voices or commands, nor can he sense another C-Virus infected unless in extremely close range (which by then he can simply see that it is another of his kind). His mood swings are less often and he is significantly less likely to go on sporadic killing sprees (not saying it is completely out of the equation, however), and he has deduced from what memories he has recalled that Carla is the one he should be going after. And though without the hive mind it will be much easier to approach her without her knowing of his intentions, it has become near impossible to track her. However, he is already stationed at the facility she is at and it will only be a matter of time before he approaches her. His feelings toward Nemio have changed by this point, becoming more detached and more longing of how it used to be without Carla (another reason for him to want her gone). He still sees him as a friend, but is still confused as to what happened while they had been human. His memories seem to have completely suppressed the incidents even without the help of the hive mind blocking it. He is still very touchy (not wanting to be touched or spoken to), easily angered, and stubborn. When alone or not avidly searching for Carla, he can appear quite docile unless provoked or even depressed at times. He's normally quite melancholic when alone and rarely speaks unless spoken to.
