Why your Indian e-visa application gets rejected with examples
Tumblr media
Innumerable e-visa India aspirants tend to have their application for an Indian visa rejected. Sometimes, even a minor mistake is underestimated but leads to application rejection. Therefore, we have prepared a list of precautions and considerations to allow Indian e-visa seekers to travel to India by having their application for the same approved. www.evisaindia.com helps you to find hassle free Indian Visa
We have given below the tips to avoid Indian e-visa rejection by giving some appropriate examples to facilitate your understanding.
Check your country eligibility:
Over 169 countries are eligible for Indian e-visa, whose citizens can apply for the visa. If your country does fall in the list of eligible countries for Indian e-visa, then you can’t apply for the visa. Moreover, if your family ancestry lies in Pakistan despite being the citizen of eligible countries, then you are ineligible for an Indian e-visa. And, you have to go to the nearest Indian Embassy in your country and apply for a regular visa.
Any important cell in your e-visa application is unfilled
You have to fill every necessary cell in your evsia India form. If any important cell is found unfilled, then your evisa India application will be rejected.
For example, if you don’t mention your expected time of arrival, then your visa application will be taken negatively, which will lead to rejection.
When providing wrong information in the visa application form
If you provide wrong details, intentionally or unintentionally, in your visa application, then consider your application rejected. Let’s take an example to understand this more clearly: You have put your email ID two times in the form. The second time you enter your same email ID, then your email ID is confirmed. But, if your second-time entered email ID is different from your first one even little, then your application will face rejection.
And, remember your electronic visa is sent to your confirmed email ID, so take it into account.
If your passport validity is less than 6 months
Your passport has to be valid for 6 months from your arrival date in India. If your passport is not vaild for 6 months, then you will be ineligible. Don’t get confused like many foreigners that your application should be valid from the date when you receive your electronic visa on your email address.
For instance, your passport validity is 6 months when you receive an electronic visa, and you are coming to India after 10 days. Then, the 10-day gap in your passport validity make you ineligible for Indian e-visa.
When your return to your country is not clear
if your intention to return is not clear, then you will not be granted an evisa India. To assure government officials that you will get back to your country, you need to show them a return ticket or any other strong reason/proof that can convince them.
When not providing your visa type
You can apply for an Indian evisa for medical, tourism and business purposes. If your intention of visiting India is not clear, then you will face rejection.
First, ask yourself why you want or need to visit India. After that, put your reason on the application form to remove confusion.
Not providing necessary forms
If you are applying for an Indian evisa for medical purposes, then you have to give a copy of the medical letter from the hospital where you will have treatment. The same is for business purposes, a form of invitation letter from the business company. Not giving such forms means you will be deemed ineligible for the Indian e-visa.
Important note: OCI cardholders were facing issues due to passport renewal issues that led to ineligibility for entry to India. But, now the government of India has sorted out the issue by making possible for them to come to India with their OCI card, old passport and the new passport. This facility is extended by 30, June 2020.
