OnePlus 12R is the lower-cost version of the flagship OnePlus 12. The first question is, is it worth it to pick this device or should you go for the OnePlus 12? What compromises are made here? The 50 MP Sony IMX890 sensor main camera can capture decent shots given that it has f/1.8 aperture, laser autofocus and so on. The selfie camera is also downgraded to 16 MP compared to OnePlus 12’s 32 MP shooter. The rear camera supports 4K recording whereas the front one supports a maximum 1080p@30fps. Both have stabilization but we are missing 4K recording on the front side.
