Going fucking feral over the technicality that if someone where to use the Scroll of True Resurrection on Astarion, he should no longer be a vampire spawn.
Technically, if Karlach dies and you take the infernal engine out of her chest (or straight up destroy the body), then True Resurrection will heal her too and I just-
please just give them happy endings I beg of you

Ghostrunner (ep.00) Running Ghosts For Fun And Profit
Ghostrunner! What is it? Why is it? How will I be it? All these questions and... well, not really any more lie within.
Welcome to Ghostrunner, a thrilling 'triple-a indie' game blending mirror's edge style first-person-platforming with intense reaction-speed hotline-miami-but-three-dee combat, all within a lovingly rendered cyberpunk tower-city. Plus, the soundtrack is just banger after banger.
Subs, follows, likes, comments, and especially shares and reblogs always appreciated!

does anyone have like an anti aesthetic. like something you look at and can recognize as a complete fashion/interior design/artistic movement and understand it but it makes you shudder seeing it. i am not talking like “its morally bad” “its poorly structured” like just sheerly devoid of joy for you actually invites a repulse response.

Ghostrunner - Blast Review
Developer: One More Level, 3D Realms, Slipgate Ironworks, All In! Games Rrp: £24.99 (Gog.com, Humblebundle, Steam and Epic)
This game is one of those titles that I simultaneously enjoyed immensely and also found extremely frustrating. The enjoyment of the game came from getting to play the part of a wall running, sword slashing cyber ninja who kills his enemies in a single blow (except for the bosses). The frustration comes from two sources one mechanical and the other accidental. Mechanically the frustration comes from the fact that the bad ass cyber ninja that you are, like your enemies, dies in a single hit. This means an entire successful run can be ended by a single stray shot. But the accidental frustration stems from the fact that this game is a bit... janky. The wall running works perfectly until the moment it doesn't and suddenly for no reason at all your ninja refuses to stick to the surface which plummets you to your death. Thankfully the checkpoint system is very generous so restarting a section doesn't set you too far back.
As you play through you unlock special abilities and upgrades. I quite like the upgrade system as each individual upgrade is shaped similarly to a tetris block (no, not a tetrominoe as most have more then 4 squares) that must be placed on a grid to activate. You can change these out whenever you want meaning you can change your playstyle to match the situation. For example, I generally had upgrades equipped that allowed me to deflect projectiles right up until boss fights where I swapped them out to allow me to dash more often.

Ghostrunner isn't a very long game with the campaign lasting about eight or so hours, but honestly I think that's about the right length, any longer the game would overstay its welcome. However, if you truly want more the game does have a new game plus mode as well as two other modes (a wave mode and a kill mode').

Ghostrunner 2 Review
Ghostrunner was a surprise hit when it launched in 2020, managing to sell an impressive 2.5 million copies despite being a brand-new IP. For the sequel, developer One More Level has gone with the tried and true method of bigger is better. Most of the time, that works perfectly, taking what was already good in Ghostrunner and making it better along with a few new mechanics. Unlike the surefooted…

Ghostrunner II will launch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in 2023, publisher 505 Games and developer One More Level announced.
Here is an overview of the game, via its Steam page:
Ghostrunner II is the highly anticipated hardcore first-person slasher set one year after the events of Ghostrunner. Blood will run in this post-apocalyptic cyberpunk future that takes place after the fall of the Keymaster, a tyrant who ruled over Dharma Tower, the last refuge of humanity. The player has the power to shape the future of humanity and take on the violent cyber ninja AI cult that has taken shape outside Dharma Tower, making for a truly epic and unforgettable experience. Featuring incredible boss fights, a deeper exploration of the world beyond Dharma Tower, worthwhile combat improvements, nonlinear levels with complex motorbike sections, exciting new modes, and all the action you loved about Ghostrunner. The game introduces new skills, allowing players to be more creative and take on even the most demanding encounters with greater accessibility. However, enemies in Ghostrunner II behave uniquely depending on the skills used on them, providing a fresh challenge with each encounter.
The game’s level design is more versatile, with multiple ways to play. Boss fights are more interactive, giving players freedom to choose how to survive battles against the toughest opponents. The player progression system has been completely redone, providing opportunities to experiment and customize gameplay. The new dialog system allows players the choice to dive deeper into the lore and plot. There are many new enemy types, including some that are redone to fit the gameplay. The new interactive environment includes exploding barrels, destructible walls, neutral entities that can help the player, and more improvements that add excitement to combat. With its new features, Ghostrunner II offers even more replay value, as players can now play the campaign, climb the leaderboards, experiment with their playstyle, and try worthwhile new modes. The game is a must-play for fans of the original Ghostrunner and anyone looking for an intense and immersive action experience.

seriously though nothing can stop me from interpreting Real Life as canon just for how it progresses the canary curse situation. i'm obsessed with it. the curse gets broken in secret life and then in the very next "series", as much of a joke as it is, you get a situation like THAT. jimmy enters a mineshaft and everyone but him dies. not just his team, though obviously it's more significant because they were all red, but ren/martyn/skizz all get a mineshaft-death apiece. that canary's not doing his job anymore. he escaped his cage and made a break for the surface and everyone else is paying the price for it, and i for one could not be more proud of that little bird.
