Artist Research: Oliver Hirtenfelder
Oliver Hirtenfelder
is a photographer based in South Africa who takes stunning photographs of cars. Although he takes a lot of photos of cars the ones that stood out to me was his style photographs that put cars in a dark night sort of setting. This was interesting to me as it was able to bring out the features and allowed the viewers to focus more on the car rather than its surroundings. In a living creature point of view, I saw it as a car that was something that was teasing you with only glimpses of it.
