Planet Giza - Ready When You Are

It's hard to think about this album without thinking about Kaytranada. His influence on this record shines bright as day but it still feels like a unique album. Much like a lot of their fellow Montréalais' work, this album is a smooth blend of hip hop, jazz, and funk. The production is so tight that the negative space between the glossy synths, the snappy drums, and the vocals almost becomes part of the instrumentation itself.
