I never even considered a name for them.
They've not exactly got the best of names to play with. Is Nunky acceptable? Or Sinky? I hope not 馃槵
Maybe their surnames might work best. Shingle? Maybe not considering it's the name of a virus. Perhaps Dirma? Sharmingle? I personally think Sharmingle is funnier to say out loud so I vote for that one.
Robron was so much easier to combine. Another reason why we need them back. They'll teach Suni and Nicky to pair up with people with easier matched names 馃槀

Emmerdale 08.05.24
Caleb is fuming at the pile of manure outside his house courtesy of Moria and is demanding Nicky get it cleared. Nicky is complaining about being made to do it as Aaron comes out and while he is amused by the whole thing he wants it cleared as well.
Nicky is frustrated and being asked to get the mess cleared up by his father, Aaron acknowledges it's a two man job but when Nicky asks if he's going to help him Aaron declined to do so with a big fat hell no! Aaron leaves him to it still finding the whole thing entertaining.
Following a row with his father, Caleb. An upset Nicky seeks out his boyfriend Suni and Aaron also present, Nicky is upset his father's treatment of him and has a rant as Aaron points out living rent free with his parents is quite child no wonder his father treats him like a lackey giving Nicky food for thought.
Suni offers Nicky a solution move in with him, Nicky is talked into it and agrees it's a good idea as Aaron looks on. Nicky is now pleased with himself and looking forward to the future, which always proceeds disaster in Soapland!

However, if Aaron is coming back, does that mean that there will be a lot of Nicky and Aaron interaction?
They are half-cousins after all and they are both young gay men. Plus Nicky lives in Aaron's old house that he shared with his husband.
I wouldn't put it past ED, to have a triangle between the two cousins and some other man.

so after the cancer storyline comes to a close (chas recovers from her surgery, aaron goes to his appointment and agrees to start regular check-ups like his mom etc) what the hell are they gonna do with him?
it's so weird that he is going through something that affects him so much but he doesn't even share scenes with any of the people closest to him except his parents. he's also barely present at dingle gatherings?
i would love to see him get more involved with the lives of his friends like victoria (the jacob drama), vinny (caught amidst the tom/belle drama), matty's wedding drama (matty is literally the brother of his best mate??), mackenzie... god, i would even take a decent apology to ethan so they could hang out as friends and take the mick out of suni and nicky.
at this point i don't even mind if they don't give him his own storyline (though i would love to see him reconnect with seb) i just need less sad aaron always absorbed in his grief and his thoughts, always shouldering the weight of the world alone.

make him hate chas (relatable)
make him hate most of the rest of the dingles (also relatable)
make him be a dick to Paddy (eh... i mean he's annoying but aaron could always handle it and him)
make him tell Suni and Nicky "letting themselves get attacked" is their own fault (what???)
make him pretend to be interested in Ethan to get back at Charles (what the actual fuck???)
And Ethan just falls for it?
I mean come on mate.
Someone who has lived in the same village as you for years and never even so much as acknowledged your existence, suddenly shows an interest in you, right after your dad pissed him off by getting involved in an argument between him and his mum, and you're just 馃槏馃槏馃槏 HE LIKES ME!!

I鈥檓 scared, there are like 3(?) gay guys currently in the village they could try hooking Aaron up with right now, and, even putting Robron aside, absolutely none of them imo would be able to hold their own against a character with as much history and personality as Aaron. And none of them are even interesting! I鈥檓 prepared to see him watered down again and it sucks. That鈥檚 part of why I鈥檓 a bit glad to see him starting off this time as angry and disruptive I think? Bc that means we鈥檙e warding off the seemingly inevitable slide back into weird domesticity, placidity and not knowing what to do with Aaron for just that much longer, ig!
Well one of them is technically his cousin. And yes, I know that doesn't always stop a Dingle but I think we can safely take Nicky off of that list. I wouldn't mind them interacting though.
Ethan is the only single one currently and like I said in my last ask....dear god that would be boring. And I don't think it would do either character any favors. One or both of them would need a complete personality transplant to make it work remotely anyway.
Suni I still think has potential as a character in general but I'm sure they'll destroy that potential eventually. They're really good at that.
So yeah, I do think Aaron is safe for a while and his anger certainly helps with that.

Emmerdale 16.10.23 Part 4
Aaron walks into the pub, right as the family are raising a toast to the late Faith & Caleb & Nicky are officially welcomed into the family. Aaron's upset he wasn't invited & proceeds to help himself to the money in the till.
Aaron swipes the money from the till in front of them all, he declares the family owes him. Chas decides to just let him to it, she's not got the energy for a fight. Cain is angry at Aaron's behaviour but does not intervene as he storms out money in hand.
Things are tense with Aaron & Chas both are devastated by the situation but Aaron's grief is masked by anger as he continues to lash out at all those around him.

I do think it funny that Nicky was giving Caleb grief over anything romantic with Leyla.
When Nicky is risking the whole operation if he also has a secret boyfriend in the wings.

Plus I just think it鈥檚 hilarious that another of Cain鈥檚 nephew is a part of the rainbow family.
