I saw a Goddess...

Monty liked to consider themself a reasonable person, sure deciding to go on a two month long trip out to sea with the two most autistic people Montys ADHD ass had ever met, and a rambunctious ten year old that sounded like Puss in boots got violently sick, might not have been the best idea... but Foxy said that Monty just needed to know the basics of fishing, boat care and star navigation to be okay. That and Monty was promised money at the end of it.

Another reasonable thing, the chance of getting away from their father sounded much too sweet of a deal to pass up. Not that they didn't love Pops but... the man was a bit... pushy.

Monty grunted as they lugged a sack of potatoes onto their shoulder and worked their way onto the ship, it was a small thing, as again, there would only be four people on it.

Monty sighed and looked across the dock where they could see Sun and Moon scrambling to grab a few things off their own boat, having just gotten back from their own trip. They had been gone for about a week doing god knows what, they hadn't even gone far. Monty recalled one night where Puppet was drunk out of his mind and pointed out the dinky little boat out a few miles before promptly throwing up on Monty's shirt.

Whatever, it was just two months, then Monty could grill Moon about whatever the fuck the twins and Lunar were doing in that time.

Two months. Thats all, they would be fine.

"OUTTA MY WAY!" Monty yelped as FC ran past with a bag almost twice his size, "FATHER ENTRUSTED ME WITH THIS!" Monty rolled their eyes and pushed their dreads out of their eyes as they followed FC down the stairs.

"Even with that stupid bad he refuses to put down the wooden hook" Monty jumped and swung the bag, and would have hit Puppet in the head had he not ducked.

"Calm down big guy-

"Not a guy"

"Big person who I very much care about and am very sorry for misgendering, its just me" Puppet grinned and ducked under Monty's arm with his own sack, "Can't kill me before we've even left the dock"

"Might make yer face look nicer" Monty gruffed as he dropped the bag to the floor, deeming it the proper storage place.

"Hah hah, funny" Puppet deadpanned as he disappeared into another room, but not before FC came sprinting out, wooden hook in his Mouth with Foxy right behind.

"WHAT THE HELL DID I SAY ABOUT TAKING MY FUCKIN' DRINKS?!"

It was going to be a very long two months.

One week. One FUCKING WEEK. Monty was going to murder them all. She yelped as a wave struck the side of the boat throwing her into the wall. She could vaguely hear Foxy yelling at FC to get downstairs and FC responding back in an upset tone. God, she was gonna be sick- Rain and sea water abused her skin as she gripped the side of the boat and forced herself into a standing position. The boat lurched again and the front dipped into the water.

Monty took a deep breath in and glanced around, and for a moment everything was still. Monty glanced up and swallowed thickly at the wall of water barreling towards her. Oh fuck- Monty didn't even have time to scream before she suddenly felt weightless- and then plunged into the water.

...

She was vaguely aware that she was sinking like a rock, the world around her stung her eyes and threw her every which way. Her lungs hurt and it felt like someone was slugging her in the stomach. Monty closed her eyes, what was the point in struggling at this point? She didn't know which way was up or down...

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?! Something grabbed her elbow and dragged her forward through the icy water. Monty squeezed her eyes tighter, letting the things... hands? Run over her arms, face and chest. The other hand traveled up her neck and if Monty wasn't already struggling to breathe her breath would have caught on the back of her throat.

The hands trailed up her face and pulled at her cheeks and then opened her mouth, releasing the last bit of air she was desperately trying to hold on to. The nimble fingers pushed her eyes open and forced Monty to look at them.

Oh stars above...

They were beautiful, Monty stared into the prettiest blue eyes she had ever seen, the creature's face was a split of grass green and an ocean blue. Their round face was framed by a mass of puffy white hair, floating wildly around their head and conch ears. If Monty wasn't drowning at the moment she probably would have said something really stupid...

The creature's hand rested on her cheek as Monty's vision went dark around the edges, she glanced the creature up and down, wanting to drink in their image before they died. Monty paused and stared at their bottom half in wonder, a long green and white glittering tail swayed lazily back and fourth. Apparently they found this ogling rude and smacked the side of her head lightly, forcing Monty to look into their eyes again. Suddenly a flash of Gold and orange was pushing at the first creature. Screeching in a language Monty didn't understand.

They had what looked to be a net in one hand and began quickly wrapping it around Monty, working too fast for her to get a good look at them.

There was something so familiar about the new one...

Monty rolled over and gagged, "ere- w- go" floods of water escaped her mouth. Someone wrapped their arms around her chest and squeezed, forcing her to gag up more water. Monty shivered, her cold wet clothes doing little to block the wind.

Another set of hands... or a hand, hoisted her up onto uneasy feet.

"Hey, earth to Monty!" Monty blinked and glanced to the side where Foxy was, the older man looked worried, "Ya alright?" Monty shrugged, her throat felt raw and broken.

"Words Gator, use your words" Puppet said, arms still wrapped around her waist as they started dragging her around.

"I saw a goddess" Monty rasped dreamily, staring at the water.

"I think someone swallowed too much sea water" Puppet said as Foxy pushed open the door to the sleeping quarters and shuffled over to Monty's part of the room, flopping the second youngest down unceremoniously.

"She had a tail..."

"And maybe a fish"

so i had a tsams dream,,,,

this was from sun's pov btw-

moon had a crush on some girl that i can't remember anything about other than the fact she was a love interest, and i distinctly remember thinking "tumblr's not gonna like this"

anyways, she like- convinces moon and monty to go on stage and perform in dresses for some reason??- then the doorbell rings

moon realizes that it's eclipse from his,,,,"aura" and gives the star (that he for some reason has) to sun, which is also in the shape of a slice of cheese

sun, for some reason, opens the door and eclipse is upside down, clipped through the floor so you can only see his legs sticking out

I saw a Goddess Part 3

(Ya'll remember how fukin weird Monty was when he first interacted with Earth? Cuz I don't~)

Monty couldn't breathe as 'her' fingers trailed up his neck, pulling at his skin, her blue eyes staring into his. When he talked all that came out was a muddled garbled sound and bubbles flew out of his mouth. She smiled and responded in a language he didn't understand. Suddenly the gold and orange creature was back, pulling her away from Monty, the smaller ones tail beat strongly and a net was in their hand, it wasn't until the new one turned to look at Monty did he get a good look at them, Suns white eyes and black pupils stared at him blankly.

Sun wrapped the net around him quickly, but instead of being dragged up to the boat the net pulled down, dragging Monty deeper and deeper as the two watched him. Monty struggled against the net, struggled to breathe- his limbs felt heavy and he couldn't get a good grip on the net.

Something screamed in his ear.

Monty sat up quickly, sucking in much needed gulps of air, his alarm clock screamed at him- Why the hell did she set it up for 3 in the morning?- Monty slammed their fist on it and the annoying noise stopped with a whine. The sheets clung to him, sweaty and gross, ugh she needed a shower.

Wasn't she supposed to be doing something?

Monty flung the sheets off of their body and scrambled to find new clothes for the day. They glanced at the stack of bracelets, a pink one, a yellow one, and a blue one sat innocently together. Monty sighed, she would pick after his shower.

Something about water...

OH SHIT-

How could Monty have forgotten?! Skip the shower, he could take it later. Monty quickly pulled their pants on and grabbed a tank top, snagged all three bracelets and shoved them in her pocket. they would pick later.

They had to find Earth. Monty mumbled the name, shoving his sunglasses on, the word had always felt... well, like a word. But now, it wasn't just a word, it was a name. He had a name for her now, they weren't crazy or losing it! He had a name for her. She existed.

Monty grabbed their keys and a long thin rope. Go time.

Monty swallowed thickly as the water ahead slapped against the rocks near his feet, they had tied the rope to a nearby tree and the other end of it to herself. The water lapped at his feet, dark and demanding, her stomach tied into knots and then knotted those knots. Monty started to feel sick as he stared at the offending water.

"You know, that might not be the best way to learn how to swim"

Monty jumped at the voice, and looked around for its owner, Monty inhaled sharply as he stared at Earth sitting a little ways away on a large rock, "Sorry" she said, gods above her voice was beautiful, "Its not right to stare, but I guess I couldn't help it, you look so different from what I'm used too seeing"

She looked different now, for one she had legs- Her skin was the same color as Suns, or well- colors, like Sun, she had vitiligo, halving her face almost perfectly, save for a few stray specks over darker skin. Her hair was still the same, puffy and white. She still had the same perfect sky blue eyes as before.

"Are you alright?" Earth cocked her head and her hair fell over her shoulder like a water fall. Monty mentally slapped themself and closed his mouth.

"Y-yeah... 'm fine" Smooth Montgomery, smooth. "Names M- onty" Ah yes, stumble over your words, that'll really get a girl. Relax, you're meeting a mythical creature for the first time (Second time? Did the first time count?), Sun, Moon, and Lunar are probably also said mythical creatures... What else did they keep from him?

Did they have a giant octopus dad? Ya' know what? Some questions are better left unanswered.

Earth smiled kindly at him and hopped off the rock and slid into the water, it only really went to her shins, but Monty could see specs of green crawling up her legs as she walked toward her, "my names Earth, its nice to meet you! I like your glasses"

"Huh? Oh! These things? Heh, thanks" The two stared at one another for a moment, gods this woman was tall- "I like yer hair- Momm- Earth. I like your hair, Earth"

"Oh, thank you!"

Shit- what now? Conversation starter- "Are you alright?" Earth asked again, "I know the first time we met... Sun told me that, you can't breathe under water, I'm sorry I misread the situation" Earth fidgeted with her hands, tapping her index fingers together in a way that Monty had seen on TV before.

Ah shit- "Nah Yer fine, I was uh... seeing how deep the water went" Yeah that'll work.

"Didn't you get knocked off the boat? That's what Sun said" Or not-

Monty barked a laugh, "Y- yeah well... yeah I fell off the boat, I'm all good now though" Earth smiled again and glanced at the rope.

"What was that for?" Oh yeah, tell her how you were about to go swimming to look for her like a fuckin' creep.

"I was looking for... my bracelets" Ah sure, that'll work. Monty fished their bracelets out of their pocket, "Found em" Earth didn't looked convinced.

"Did you loose them in the water?"

Shit- "Yeees?" "Wouldn't you be all wet from being in there? Besides I don't think that rope is long enough to get to where you fell in the water..." Curse her sound logic.

Monty sighed and scuffed their foot on the rocks slowly, "I- I was lookin for ya" Earth smiled kindly.

"Well, you found me"

Monty barked a laugh, "Yeah, I guess I did".
