DO WHAT YOU LOVE, TAKE RISK!

One of the most popular places for people are arcades, funfair, business hubs and of course food hubs because everyone loves food. Who doesn’t right?
So, as I was scrolling through my social media app, I discovered certain food and business hubs in the south specifically in the City of Muntinlupa. I was extremely interested and curious about what is up on “Merkado sa Muntinlupa” especially that we are still battling in these times of pandemic. Without a second thought, my friends and I decided to visit the place so we can personally see everything in that event of the City of Muntinlupa.
But of course, we must be reminded that we need to follow health and safety protocols mandated by the government for everyone’s safety. So, before you can enter in the place you must haves the following:
• Stay safe application
• Face Shield
• Face Mask
Let’s now move forward with our experiences in certain food stalls that me and my friends really enjoyed with.
To begin with, we discovered “Cup of Tea” with a tagline of “Feel Well, Sip Well” they sell Milk teas and Fruit teas and was established during August 2020. Upon ordering I notice that one of the owners is the one who is preparing our orders so without thinking I ask permission if I could do some chitchats after they finish to prepare our drinks.
While on a conversation with the owner Ms. Marjorie Del Rosario, I found out that She was an Alumni of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa wherein we are currently studying. She and her siblings started the business because they are milk tea lovers that is why during the pandemic, they started to have their own Milk tea business.
She mentioned that before Merkado, they sold their Tea’s only at the comfort of their home and with the help of their friends they were also recognized online by many people. They also use online booking applications to those who would like to try their Milk teas and Fruit Teas.
As a customer, I recommend their milk tea because it’s true that it tastes so good. It can be paired with any food and it matches everything. Aside from that, I appreciate that it’s much cheaper yet has the good quality from the taste to its pearl to its packaging. I’m satisfied.
Though one of I noticed is that they don’t ask sugar levels for their customers preferences. So, I would suggest that they should work on that because if they have any customers who love their milk tea but are very conscious of sugar levels then they can still accommodate it and for the customers they can have their favorite milk tea without the fear of having too much sweets.
Cup of Tea owners are planning to have their own physical store and if that happens, they will add up something in their menus. For more inquiries, you can reach them out in their Facebook page and Instagram account.

To all the Southies out there, let’s support small businesses in our own little ways. And always be safe and healthy! I hope that you enjoyed reading this one. I’m Jasmin Joan L. De Guzman, you’re Southie’s wanderer. See you on my next blog!
