i'm not the other anon so i'm just letting you know what i've seen over the years. we're not supposed to gif stuff without explicit permission from fansites, so if they don't have it stated anywhere public that they allow editing, we're supposed to message them asking for permission and not just assume it's fine if they don't say anything. i saw a lot of people giffing yunho's that that fancam from chorokeez but the youtube video (that was linked on the tweet) clearly states they don't want it edited :/ i just wish everyone can understand both sides (people that don't want their videos edited and gifmakers that don't want their stuff reposted), i'm not trying to trying to be sound mean btw but this has clearly happened before on atinyblr and might happen again. it's best to spread the word and show the same courtesy

that’s my bad then bc i included a gif from the video on twitter and linked the youtube video bc i figured that would be more appropriate!! when i saw it on the tweet i admittedly did not look deeper and see a do not edit stamp and i admittedly have a bad habit of reading assuming that to mean do not crop or claim credit which is my mistake and i will very easily and openly own up to that! i appreciate you and your tone much more than the other anon, and i personally don’t find your tone to be mean in the slightest, and i do agree with you and i personally will be more mindful and careful myself! so def a good thing to make sure everyone is mindful of as well <3
