London Concours 2022 Crowns Best in Show
- The London Concours presented by Montres Breguet, opened the doors to the City’s Honourable Artillery Company yesterday morning

The London Concours presented by Montres Breguet opened its doors yesterday to a crowd of thousands in stunning sunshine for the first day of the event.
Hosted at the Honourable Artillery Company, a five-acre oasis of green close to Bank, the event played host to the most incredible collection of vehicles ever gathered in the City.
In total, around 80 cars were on display across eleven classes. The main concours event classes include ‘The Pursuit of Speed’, ‘Japanese Jewels’, ‘The Italian Spiders’, ‘Great Marques – Mercedes and ‘Great British History. Each of the classes was packed with rarities, from the Ferrari 250 GT California SWB to the Koenigsegg Agera S.
The London Concours’ expert committee of judges picked an extraordinarily well-preserved Toyota 2000GT as the ‘Best in Show’. The 2000GT was designed to act as a halo model for Toyota’s range, and with Yamaha’s help it turned out to be one of the 1960s most memorable GT cars. Its 2.0-or 2.3-litre straight-six, with between 138bhp and 148bhp on tap, was matched with a standard limited-slip differential and all-round disc brakes – both firsts for the Japanese auto industry. It was also the first Japanese car with rack-and-pinion steering. Its top speed was a heady 135mph, and just 351 cars were built in total; this is one is chassis no. MF10-10129. Originally sold in Mozambique, it went to Portugal in 1976 before appearing on eBay in 2007 with 42,000km on the clock. It was fully restored in 2012.
This year the Chairman of the Judges, Peter Read also awarded the Chairman’s Award, an award based on the car that he would most like to drive home himself. This year it was awarded to the 1962 Ferrari 250GT California SWB. Its beautiful Scaglietti- crafted body covered a lighter chassis and 276bhp version of the 3.0-litre Colombo V12. To ensure this supreme grand tourer stopped as keenly as it accelerated, it was fitted with the same disc brakes as its 250GT Berlinetta SWB cousin, and wore 185VR 15 Pirelli Cinturato tyres. It’s believed that a mere 56 examples of the SWB California were ever built.
The judges, led by members of the London Concours Steering Committee, not only awarded an overall winner, but a winner of each class, too.

Outside of the main concours event, there were plenty of other astonishing cars on display. A special feature celebrated the best ‘Coachbuilt and Concept’ cars, including a one-off Jaguar XK180 concept and the wild Mercedes F2000 Imagination, including its joystick-style controls. ‘The Collector’, which each year shines a light on one person’s car collection, showcased the cars of Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, including his pristine Jaguar E-Type, Porsche 356 and Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona
Andrew Evans, London Concours director, said: “As ever I’m in absolutely no doubt that this astounding selection of vehicles is the greatest collection ever assembled within the City of London, it is always a genuine pleasure to be able to share these very special cars with the thousands of visitors that come here. I’d also like to extend thanks to all of our partners for making the London Concours such a success, as we now look to replicate this brilliant first day across our ‘Style Day’ on Wednesday and ‘Supercar Day’ on Thursday.”
Visitors to the London Concours are also treated to pop-up boutiques from luxury retailers like Presenting Partner, Montres Breguet, and pink diamond specialists Calleija, as well as some of the nation’s top automotive specialists. Lotus is in attendance, showcasing the Eletre all-electric SUV, Alpine is displaying its A110 family, alongside an Alpine Formula One car, and Bizzarrini is providing an early public look at its 5300 GT Corsa Revival. Coachbuilding specialist, Caton, is showcasing its Healey by Caton creation.

W223 Mercedes-Benz S-Class to get M256 3.0L inline-six, M176 4.0L EQ Boost mills; 6.0L V12 for Maybach
More details have surfaced regarding the next-generation W223 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. According to a Motor Trend report, the entry-level S500 will get the M256 3.0 inline-six petrol engine, while the S580 will be more popular with its M176 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 engine.

A 28 kWh battery will reside beneath the floor (designed so as to not impinge on boot space), potentially offering close to 100 km of pure electric range.
Affalterbach engineers will also lay their hands on the flagship limousine. For now, the S-Class will get two AMG versions – the S63 and an even more potent S73 variant. The S63 is said to get around 600 hp, while the S73 could pack as much as 800 hp. Meanwhile, the V12 engine is reserved only for the Maybach model.
The W223 S-Class is the first Mercedes-Benz model to be underpinned by the MRA2 platform. MRA2 is essentially an evolution of the current MRA architecture that’s used for the W205 C-, W213 E- and W222 S-Class, but improved to offer better interior space and driving dynamics. The new S-Class is said to be offered in standard, long, and extended wheelbases. Either way, both standard and LWB versions will offer more cabin space than before.
Another headlining feature is the rear-wheel-steer system, which offers an increased steering angle of up to 10 degrees. This supposedly cuts the car’s turning circle to 11 metres, comparable to that of an A-Class. A journalist from Motor Trend who sat in the car during a “quick flick” presentation described the car as “stunningly agile,” as though it was a “Mazda MX-5 on an autocross course.”
The S-Class has traditionally been the platform for which Mercedes-Benz showcases its latest and greatest tech advances, and it’s no different this time around. The W223 model will come with optional rear frontal airbag, Pre-Safe Impulse Side (for models with E-Active Body Control and 48-volt active suspension system), and Mercedes-Benz User Experience (MBUX) Interior Assistant. More features will be revealed closer to the launch date.
Inside, the cabin gets a 12.8-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen display, multi-colour ambient lighting system with 250 LEDs, fully reclineable rear seats with new “comfy pillow” headrests and built-in neck warmers, and Mercedes’ Energising seat kinetics function. The last feature will periodically make small adjustments to the seating position to improve passenger posture and comfort. Sounds good, doesn’t it?

Honda Taiwan 以「Dream Real」為展出主題，展出重點包含四輪與兩輪兩區塊，其中四輪部分展出結合油電科技的日本傳奇超跑 NSX 及熱銷的 CR-V 及 HR-V 等四輪車款，並特別設置Honda SENSING VR 體驗區，提供大家體驗 Honda 智慧駕駛安全輔助系統。

【Hyundai】Santa Fe 攜手 Palisade！現代休旅家族到齊
Hyundai 現代汽車由品牌頂級休旅 Palisade 與 全新大七人座休旅 Santa Fe 攜手領軍參加 車展，以及 Kona 家族的 EV 純電休旅、Hybrid 油電複合休旅首次亮相，加上市售車系全新世代陣容共多達14輛展出規模。

全新 Santa Fe 於車展中正式發表，正式價格為 129.9 萬起，車身尺碼放大到4,770x1,890x1,705mm，軸距尺碼進步到 2,765mm，並擁有僅 0.337Cd 風阻係數。車室採用 3D 海灣式雙層控台搭配皮質包覆與鑽石紋雙色真皮座椅，駕駛儀錶組以 7 吋高解析度 TFT-LCD 數位方式呈現，控台中央採用 10 吋中文化觸控式聯網影音主機。此外，首度搭載「Easy System 座艙便利機能系統」，可快速調整副駕駛座椅背高度與椅面前後之外，乘客也可輕鬆調整第二排椅背、快速進出第三排乘坐空間。第三排座椅收折下行李廂空間擁有 547L，若二、三排全數放平能達到 1625L。

【Peugeot】新世代 208 與 2008 SUV 同步來台，新生代 Peugeot 軍團降臨
2019 年， 是 Peugeot 新世代 2 系列家族車款陸續登場的一年， 年初的日內瓦車展， 208 發表亮相， 6月， 2008 SUV 亦改款登場，前者已於 10 月在歐洲上市，後者則預計 2020 年第一季進入市場。在 2020 世界新車大展中，總代理寶嘉聯合也同步將新世代 208 以及 2008 SUV 帶入台灣，兩者同樣導入獅王獠牙設計的晝行燈與獅爪印象燈組，以仿生特徵勾勒獅王形象，建構了大膽的視覺感受，並且搭載 i-Cockpit 3D 直覺是駕駛導向設計，不但科技感十足，也完全以駕駛導向設計。除了在車展現場亮相， 208 以及 2008 SUV 也預計在 2020 年登陸台灣市場，有興趣的民眾，可以前往一探究竟。

【Porsche】電動化即是未來，Taycan 全台首演
以「Soul, electrified. 電掣 神馳」為主軸的 Porsche 明白的宣示電動化即是 Porsche 的未來，展區的主角，不是別人，正式才剛於今年 9 月發表亮相的純電動四門跑車 Taycan 。擔任全台首演要角的，是具有 761 匹馬力，且從靜止加速至時速 100 公里僅需 2.8 秒，更具有 260 km/h 極速表現的 Taycan Turbo S 。而且，具備有 800V 充電技術與先進的熱能管理系統，不但擁有 412 公里的最大續航力，更可快速的完成能源補充。
雖然把電動視為視為來的發展目標，但 Porsche 並未忘記累積歷史的根本，同時也是 Porsche 技術的農場——賽道。在 Porsche 展區，可以見到以 911 GT2 RS 為基礎，復刻經典 935/78 Moby Dick 大白鯨傳奇賽車的新世代 Porsche 935 。還有為 Porsche 於 Le Mans 24 小時耐久賽再造榮光的 919 Hybrid 賽車，還有於 2019/2020 年度賽季進軍 Formula E 電動方程式錦標賽的 99X Electric 賽車，象徵 Porsche 從傳統內燃機動力、 Hybrid 油電複合動力到純電動，一步步的發展，也把 Porsche 的輝煌賽道史，帶到了賽車的未來。

【Škoda】Scala 亞洲首發，Karoq Sportline 優惠價 149.9 萬元起接單開跑
受到 WLTP 影響， 2019 年新車導入作業延宕的 Škoda ，在 2020 世界新車大展中，一口氣展出兩款預計在 2020 年導入的全新車款，包括瞄準中型掀背市場，並且是首款完整搭載 Škoda 新世代設計語言的全新作品 Scala 。軸距 2,649mm 的 Scala 具有 73mm 的後座膝部空間以及 467 公升的行李箱容積，不但足以與 Octavia 媲美，也填補了 Škoda 在中型掀背市場的空缺。預計 2020 年第一季於台灣上市，將進一步豐富 Škoda 的產品陣容。
舞台的另一款要角，則是旗艦房車 Superb 的小改款更新。預計 2020 年第二季推出的小改款 Superb ，透過更立體的水箱護罩以及 LED 燈組的導入，建構更具科技感且更為氣派的產品樣貌，車尾也改用品牌字母排列的方式作為品牌識別，追上 Škoda 新世代產品共通的設計元素。小改款後，改以 1.5 TSI 以及 2.0 TSI 兩款引擎取代過去 1.4 TSI 、 1.8 TSI 以及 2.0 TSI 所組成的動力編成，不過其他產品細節，則仍需等待上市前夕才能確認。
現階段扮演 Škoda 入門休旅角色的 Karoq ，則是藉由車展的機會推出 Karoq Sportline 運動化調校車型，除了黑化的外觀細節與跑車化的內、外觀套件，更換上具有 190 匹馬力輸出的 2.0 TSI 引擎，搭配濕式雙離合器設計的 7 速 DSG 變速箱與全時四輪驅動系統，並把後懸吊改為多連桿設計，具有 0-100km/h 加速 7.1 秒的性能表現以及更出色的操控實力。 Škoda Taiwan 表示， Karoq Sportline 將開出 156.9 萬元的價格，車展期間則是以 149.9 萬元的優惠價接受消費者訂購。
不僅有運動化調校的車型， Škoda 更把達成 WRC2 連續五連霸的冠軍賽車 Fabia R5 運抵台灣，而且來到 2020 年世界新車大展的，還是首度在亞洲亮相的 Fabia R5 Evo 賽車，透過 Fabia R5 的優異表現，搭配結合虛擬實境的虛擬人偶與真人搭配表演，展現 Škoda 的精湛造車工藝與科技實力。除此之外， Škoda Taiwan 也為車主開闢專屬休息區，只應憑 Škoda 車鑰匙就能進入，展現 Škoda 的體貼。
【Subaru】Forester GT Edition 首度亮相台北車展
日前 2GameSome 新加坡搶先直擊的 Subaru Forester GT Edition，這次也登場台北車展，將搭載於 2020 年式並於 2020 年到港之 Forester 全車型之上，並在車展期間搶先展開預售接單，接單價依各車型為 Forester 2.0i-L 建議售價 110 萬元、Forester 2.0i-L EyeSight 為 116.8 萬元、Forester 2.0i-S 為 116.8 萬元、Forester 2.0i-S EyeSight 為 126.8 萬元。
【Suzuki】全車系報到，Jimny 特仕車領軍
Suzuki 全車系於 2020 世界新車大展全數展出，Taiwan Suzuki 特別針對 Jimny 車款加裝各式日本原裝配件打造 Jimny 特仕車，並於 2020 世界新車大展中首次亮相。此外包含 Vitara、Ignis、Swift Sport、Baleno、SX4、11 月才剛發表的 Carry 都全數登場。
【Toyota】Corolla Touring Sports 旅行車主演，Prius PHV 車展期間限降 8 萬
Toyota 展出陣容包括 RHOMBUS Concept、自動駕駛氫燃料電池車 FINE-Comfort Ride Concept、由賽車品牌「Toyota GAZOO Racing」打造的賽車原型車 GR Supra Racing Concept 等車款。
Corolla 的 Wagon 旅行車車型 Corolla Touring Sports、Sienta 福祉車車型 Sienta Welcab Concept 及由 Toyota GAZOO Racing 操刀設計的 Altis GR Sport 概念車 Corolla Altis GR Concept 也於 2020 世界新車大展亮相。

除了全新品牌識別，車展期間每個假日，包括 12/28 、 12/29 、 1/1 、 1/4 、 1/5 等五天邀請知名 DJ 於主舞台進行熱力四射的電子音樂表演，利用 Golf R 引擎聲浪、 Tiguan 關門聲、 T-Cross 喇叭聲等 Volkswagen 旗下車款的聲音元素進行音樂創作，感受 Volkswagen 品牌的多元魅力。

【Volvo】啟動新能源元年！主打 PHEV 車型
Volvo 今年以小改款 XC90 搭配 XC60 T8 Polestar Engineered 作為展演核心，輔以全車系共計 20 部車款打造豪華展出陣容。XC60 T8 Polestar Engineered 即日起正式在台上市，2020 年式車型建議售價 319 萬元。
XC60 T8 Polestar Engineered 動力性能再升級，2.0 升四缸機械增壓 / 渦輪增壓汽油引擎最大出力調漲為 335hp/43.8kgm，搭配電動馬達綜效出力達 422hp/68.3kgm，Plug-in Hybrid Electric 動力科技允許純電行駛，續航力達 44 公里、極速更高達 125km/h。XC60 T8 Polestar Engineered 擁有專屬內裝與外觀設計、強化的 Öhlins 懸吊與 Akebono 對向六活塞卡鉗煞車系統及 21 吋鍛造鋁圈。
小改登場的 XC90 擁有更為精緻大器的外型設計，全車系標配 Harman/Kardon 音響系統、Momentum 以上車型更升級 Bowers & Wilkins 頂級音響，T8 車型更採用全新設計 Orrefors 水晶排檔頭。小改款 XC90 搭載的 City Safety 強化轉向力道、Pilot Assist 追加方向盤震動提示；新增 CTA 倒車車側警示暨主動煞車系統與 Oncoming Lane 對向來車閃避輔助暨主動煞車系統等功能。
國際富豪汽車正式宣布旗下正 2020 年式 S90、XC60、XC90 的 T8 Plug-in Hybrid Electric 動力科技車款調降車價，車價降幅達 4.16%~14.57% 不等，以訂價 357 萬的 Volvo S90 T8 Inscription 為例，新年式車款調整為 305 萬元，大幅調降售價達 52 萬元；XC60 T8 Inscription 亦降價 20 萬元，新年式售價為 285 萬元。國際富豪汽車更加碼延長新年式 Plug-in Hybrid Electric 電池組保固條件，包含全新 2020 年式 S90、XC60、XC90 在內的多款 PHEV 車型，從 5 年 10 萬公里延長為 8 年 16 萬公里。

Jestli něco Číňané vždy uměli na výbornou, pak kopírovat již hotové výrobky jiných firem. Jakkoliv jde o obchodní velmoc, své vlastní produkty v jistých odvětvích prostě nejsou schopni dát dohromady. Jedním z těch odvětví je i automobilový průmysl. Proto se snad všechny velké automobilové výstavy v posledních letech neobešly bez čínských špiónů, kteří pečlivě zapisovali detaily o nových vystavených autech tak, aby je mohli doma prezentovat a použít.
Ze stejného důvodu se v roce 1966 dostal do Číny i krásný Mercedes-Benz 600 LWB Pullman, který si nechal přivézt a pak vlastnil ministr zahraničí a starosta Šanghaje Chen Yi. Říká se, že si Chen Yi vůz objednal jako součást vládního plánu a to hlavně proto, aby čínští inženýři mohli prostudovat jeho design a techniku. Následně bylo v plánu vyrobit čínskou kopii auta. Nebo jiné modely, které budou z mercedesu vycházet.

Za celou dobu, kdy je auto na světě, najelo jen 21 186 kilometrů a dle prodejce je v dokonalém stavu bez jakýchkoliv vad. Zajímavé je, že není známo, jak se auto dostalo z Číny, faktem ale je, že je v současné době na prodej v americké Filadelfii, konkrétně u prodejce LBI Limited.
Jde o jeden z 304 čtyřdveřových Pullmanů, a také o jeden ze dvou, které kdy byly do Číny vyvezeny. Cena je stanovena na 285 000 dolarů, tedy asi 6,3 milionu korun. Zajímavostí také je, že totožné auto v roce 2014 prodávala aukční síň Bonhams, přičemž cena tehdy byla 4,5 milionu korun.

Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 ra mắt toàn cầu vào cuối tháng 11/2019. Mẫu xe được đồn đoán đang trên đường nhập khẩu về Việt Nam, góp mặt vào phân khúc siêu SUV tại dải đất hình chữ S như: Rolls-Royce Cullinan, Bentley Bentayga hay Range Rover LWB Svautobiography…
Thương hiệu Maybach ra đời từ năm 1909. Qua nhiều năm, biểu tượng này đã nâng tầm những chiếc Mercedes-Benz để sánh ngang với các thương hiệu xa xỉ khác. Tại Việt Nam, Mercedes-Maybach hiện đang phân phối 3 mẫu xe bao gồm S450, S560 và S650.
Mới đây, một đơn vị kinh doanh ô tô tư nhân tại Việt Nam đã chào bán chiếc SUV siêu sang Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 với giá hơn 18 tỷ đồng. Con số này khiến GLS 600 Maybach trở nên đắt đỏ ngang ngửa với hai đối thủ đồng hương là Bentley Bentayga và Range Rover LWB SVAutobiography. Thời gian giao xe dự kiến khoảng 2 tháng. Nếu thành công, đây sẽ là chiếc GLS 600 Maybach đầu tiên xuất hiện tại dải đất hình chữ S.
Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 sở hữu ngoại thất mang nhiều nét tương đồng với dòng GLS 2020 mới về Việt Nam. Một số chi tiết gây nổi bật đáng chú ý trong thiết kế ngoại hình bao gồm một loạt các đường mạ crom trên tấm lưới tản nhiệt, viền cửa sổ, trụ B hay cả bậc lên xuống, bộ mâm hợp kim đa chấu 22-inch hay kiểu sơn 2 màu thời thượng và cuối cùng là logo Maybach.
Nội thất bên trong chiếc SUV Maybach GLS 600 không có quá nhiều thay đổi so với S-Class Maybach. Trung tâm của buồng lái là một màn cụm hình hiển thị sắc nét bao gồm đồng hồ tốc độ và cụm hiển thị hệ thống thông tin giải trí trong khi khoang ông chủ phía sau xuất hiện đầy xa xỉ với 2 ghế ngồi hạng A, bọc da Nappa với đầy đủ các chức năng như mát-xa, sưởi hay thông gió.
Ngoài ra, khoang hành khách phía sau còn được trang bị một cửa sổ trời toàn cảnh panorama, rèm chắn nắng chỉnh điện, điều hòa 2 vùng độc lập và 2 cụm màn hình MBUX Rear Tablet sắc nét. Xe được sử dụng hệ thống treo khí nén Airmatic, đem lại cảm giác êm ái và linh hoạt khi di chuyển.
Trái tim của Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 là khối động cơ V8 Turbo kép 4.0L, sản sinh tổng công suất 550 mã lực tại dải vòng tua từ 6000 tới 6500 vòng / phút trong khi tại dải tua từ 2500 tới 5000 vòng / phút, chiếc xe sản sinh ra 730Nm mô-men xoắn. Chưa hết, khối động cơ này còn được phát triển độc quyền dành cho dòng sản phẩm Maybach, với sự kết hợp cùng một hệ thống EQ Boost 48-volt góp phần tăng thêm 22 mã và 250 Nm mô-men xoắn cho chiếc SUV.
Theo những gì thương hiệu Đức công bố, hệ truyền động này cho phép thân hình nặng tới 2,78 tấn tăng tốc từ 0 lên 100 km/h chỉ trong 4,9 giây, trước khi đạt tốc độ tối đa (sau giới hạn điện tử) 250 km/h.
Sau khi về Việt Nam, Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 dự đoán sẽ làm đa dạng hơn sự lựa chọn ở phân khúc xe sang dành cho các đại gia Việt.
