When talent is recognized...
Sir James Jebusa Shannon (1862-1923), Anglo-American painter.
Of American origin, he left in his youth to study in England thanks to his talent, where he quickly grows renowned. He became one of the most renowned portrait painters in London, and founded the Royal Society of Portrait Painters, in 1891.
