I was wondering if you had any other art of the Unfriendly Neighbors? Please I'm begging your art is so good
I have one sketch just for you at the moment :] here you go!
(CW under the cut. Nothing bad but perhaps just slightly spooky)
I like to think that they had carved smiles into themselves—as they had a hard time smiling after a specific point—and the scratched out eyes were a result of not being able to stand what was on TV. Lenard's mouth and nose is scratched up pretty bad, especially on his right since they focused a lot of their clawing there on that one eye. George's jaw has a difficult time remaining fixed and he tore the stitching from where his nonexistent eye was. And Lilianna resulted to using some of her "artistic ability" to try and- restore her face at one point. Which went QUITE well. :]

When I beat MFN the first time through, one of the cheats I unlocked was free cam mode, and when I thought about it, I wanted to see more of the Unfriendly Neighbors... so I whizzed through the game to get back here to explore and see what I could find.
I was not disappointed but honestly, for some reason, I didn't feel right sticking around for too long. I think I was half expecting something to happen if I stuck around too long, but nothing did, thank goodness, seeing as I was not equipped to deal with the ungodly tank-y health of the Unfriendly Neighbors lol
Also, one of the doors I clipped to in a building opened...and out of curiosity, I went into it...aaannnd it led me back up to Stage 4 with the Friendly Neighbors, so I had to re-run back through to get to Stage 6 again within the depths of the studio.

So I’ve been playing MFN again in free cam mode trying to get all of the cheat tapes and I made a realization while in the unfriendly neighborhood.
You will see three unfriendly neighbors hanging from clothesline. You will also see Noir in a washing machine. At first I thought this was because the neighbors were bullying each other. Then I realized… what if the puppets in general washed themselves like that because they’re aware that their made of fabric?
Another scene has Norman in a bathtub with his clothes on. (He washin him in his clooothes) And I wondered how he was planning to get dry. It would make since if they simply hanged themselves on a clothesline to dry, maybe even put themselves in the dryer. If they’re durable and are aware of how they are supposed to keep clean as puppets, this actually makes sense.
Just a thought I wanted to share. :)

I have a few more fun hcs for MFN!
Unfriendly Norman likes heavy metal and rock, probably learned how to play electric guitar or bass.
Maybe Normans love musical instruments in general, remember stage 4 with and a room with drums and posters with guitars there? It also was a bit messy, judging by the colors and the look of that room i think it might belong to Norman.
All the neighbors are absolutely fascinated with humans and everything they do, so sometimes, Gordon has to bring down some of their silly questions.
Its implied that puppets do eat in this universe, im gonna bet that each puppet has its favorite meal! (I would like to see your ideas)
Gordon has to babyproof everything in the studio so puppets won't get their grabby paws on dangerous items without permission. (-whatchu got there?? -KNIFE!!! >:D -NO!!!!!)
All the puppets love tabletop/board/puzzle games, they all need to keep themselves stimulated with things to do, they can not let themselves get bored.
Normans always get in trouble, every. single. day.
Junebug wants a real animal pet but Gordon won't hear of it.
If Lenard gets a musical instrument on his hands...prepare yourself for endless music.
Ricky actually knows how to deal with puppets' shenanigans and does deal with it when he gets a chance to do so. Also he loves using water spray on everyone.
George has the hitchiest and the funniest laugh, its always contagious.
(This one is a bit...delulu but) Norman likes Junebug and Junebug likes Norman.
Norman LOVES sports, it gets him engaged the most out of any activities.
Unfriendly Norman loves to swear, bite and show inappropriate hand gestures, hes just nasty like that.

going on a tangent about why i think the mfn puppets are victims of toxic positivity as someone who's experienced it!
[ quick warning, i'm gonna go into mental health stuff and mentions of sh at the end ]
ok, so like looking at the stuff all the puppets do just screams to me that these puppets are definitely victims of some sort of toxic positivity. gonna just ramble about them cuz i can't keep this in my head- [ all of these examples are based on stuff i've experienced before, so it may not be definitive proof but it's just what i think ]
1.the puppets are constantly happy even when talking about stuff that would probably traumatize any normal person
listen, no normal person would just casually mention how they stomped their friend's face in or made a lump out of the remains of their friend. the way they talk about it feels like the way someone would talk about a traumatizing event without realizing it's traumatizing. the only thing i can think of is that the people who worked with the puppets definitely must have done something that made them not realize stuff so bad was so traumatizing. [ example, they weren't allowed to watch TV until they were alone, the people at the studio definitely were making sure these puppets wouldn't realize happy wasn't a default emotion. ]
2.they switch back to being happy as soon as they even show a hint of negative emotion
this one is just extremely relatable to me, i've just instantly hid my negative emotions whenever i accidentally show them so i was able to see this right away, and when the puppets do show negative emotions it's more extreme like they're just starting to get out pent up negativity. speaking as someone who's experienced it, this is extremely accurate to what can often happen when you hide negative emotions.
3.When they are confronted with negative emotions, they seem to not react well if the unfriendly neighbors are anything to go by
yeah this one's very obvious, the second they were able to watch tv and saw how negative everything was, basically in ricky's own words, it felt like they were dying. and considering what the unfriendly neighbors look like, it's clear they even resorted to self-harm to some capacity when they couldn't handle the fact that happiness wasn't just something everyone experienced. speaking as someone who's had this revelation a long time ago, it does feel like your dying when you realize what you experienced wasn't normal, and even the self-mutilation is sadly accurate.
so when gordon comes along, it doesn't really just feel like it's them teaching gordon that not everything's all sad and gloomy, it also feels like it's gordon teaching them that experiencing negative emotions isn't something to hide [ heck his talk with gobblette fuels this idea as he's actually comforting gobblette while she feels sad. ] although this is just my interpretation, it's just an interpretation i really like.

I decided to go ahead and post my mfn oc on here lol
His name is Fritz and he runs a plant shop in the neighborhood, also I made a unfriendly Fritz aswell
Sorry if the proportions are a bit off, these are kinda old, plus I'm not good at digital art lol

-He's married to George
-He's very kind and is one of the more mature puppets
-he makes George flustered very easily lol
-kinda a parental figure to the more innocent puppets (Norman, Junebug, Lenard, and Pearl are who I headcanon as being more innocent, still adults though)
Uf Fritz
-dating uf George but not married
-has bandages on his gloves because he thinks it makes him look spooky, it doesn't
-was the first unfriendly neighbor to find out about Creepypastas
-carrys a shard of a broken flower pot with him
-the reason uf Fritz's shirt is the same vibrancy as normal Fritz's is because it was a gift from George (in the show he gave him it in a bday ep) and he wants to keep it clean
His voice claim (for both) is Cavetown as of sep 2023 (btw listen to his music because it's really fucking good)

I adore all of them
I think the hand puppets sound like a bunch of chattering parrots when they all talk at the same time which is delightfully silly
All of the bigger puppets are adorable
I'm very pleased that you can pet the dogs
The unfriendly neighbors look so so cool and genuinely startling
Only thing Is the giant eyeball wall thing seems really out of place and weird to me

And goodness, I am EXCITED! I used to play Call of Duty a lot when I was younger, and the new update feels reminiscent of playing CoD Zombies. It'll feel so nostalgic... 🥺 Theorizing about it now: I think there is going to be a couple waves where the dogs are released and you have to deal with them on top of the other puppets, just like how there are hellhounds released in COD after a period of time ;}
