I love Margie (and for complete transparency, very much based her on Melissa from Abbott Elementary, she is a Philly 11). Nate's career is in the trash where he and it will stay. Lexi winning and Fez presenting her with the award and wiping her tears was I think one of the very first things I thought of for this AU back when it was a fun idea I played around with in my head rather than an actual fic, haha. Sequel when it arrives will be from Fez's POV. I wasn't sure on putting in the part about him knowing her name or leave it unsaid, but always knew he knew her name, lol. I feel then telling her how much he loved her new music was not very slick on his part hahaha (and I enjoy the idea of Lexi, on like her fifth replay of the night in her head being like 'wait... is it weird he didn't know my name if he had been talking to Rue about my new music?')
