Three lovely old buildings along Colonial Williamsburg's well known main street, Duke of Gloucester, stand shivering in the late afternoon sunlight, doing their best to shed themselves of a recent snowfall. Though their toes are still covered in drifts and wet slush, they're mostly rid of the white-stuff on their heads and pretty faces. They aren't really worried, though. They've been around long enough to know that the rare snowfalls in Williamsburg usually melt fast. "The Palace At Colonial Williamsburg" … The main portion of the stately #GovernorsPalace building in #ColonialWilliamsburg, #Virginia is a lovely sight on a bright summer afternoon. #Williamsburg is filled with architectural jewels at every step, and the #Palace is one of the most admired and beloved of all. "The Palace At Williamsburg" is a cropped, vertical version of the horizontal image "Colonial Williamsburg Governor's Palace" which is also available in my portfolio. Hand painted digitally from my own photo in #CorelPainter.

I am a froggie lover … I can't deny!!!

When we lived at our old house, one of my morning rituals in warmer weather days was to visit the pool and scoop peepers out and carry them to a safer place. Loved the little darlings, and I have oodles of pics of froggies at my website https://lois-bryan.pixels.com/art/frog … not many of which ever sold, but that's okay!!!

This particular guy was hand drawn, freehand, from my imagination and using specific details from a number of my photos and sources. No photo base in this one. Just me, the Wacom Tablet, the Art pen and good old #Corel Painter. Big fun.
