Okay, I know she loves to send anon asks and that she has sent and said some things she wasn't proud of before she left and came back. I have not seen the hateful anons that people are blaming on her now to know if they seem like they are from her, but she has told me privately she has apologized to individuals who got hate and is at a loss about being blamed for the new anons. I am disheartened by the behavior of some segments of the fandom who go on the attack to destroy people when they make mistakes or do the wrong thing. Sending anon hate is never okay, but neither is creating a toxic environment specifically to cause drama and belittle others in the fandom just for entertainment purposes. I have seen some pretty ugly treatment lately of fandom members other than lazychic as well who apologized, learned from their mistakes, and tried to move on, but people just wouldn't let it go.I don't think anyone is ever immune for receiving hate. Although I have somehow escaped getting any hateful anons, it has happened to some very good people in the fandom who have been nothing but kind. But if you are receiving a lot of hateful anons, it might be time to look at your own behavior. If you put hate out there, you are more likely to get it back. Again sending hateful anons is never okay. If you have a problem, there a better ways to handle it. Unfollow and block users whose content offends you. Send messages privately to resolve issues rather than creating public drama for fun. Don't publish the hateful anons so there is no incentive for the anons to send more. If we all just ignored it, it wouldn't be fun for the senders (I know I'm such a mom, but it works!). And if all else fails you can turn anon off. Maybe a fandom where everyone plays nicely despite our differences is boring and too much to ask, but I'm just too old for all this middle school type drama.
