A quiet evening allows for some feelings to finally be heard. Little by little, Kukuru and Fuuka begin to know each other better.
I could barely wait 3 weeks to write them, I just needed to know their characters better. This is the best I could do for the time being while still trying to keep them objectively in-canon in terms of their relationship.

Fuuka can feel herself dying. The dark water turns cold and seeps into her skin, filling every piece of her and dragging her deeper and deeper down.
All at once, her vision goes black and the last of her strength drains into stillness.
And she sinks, without a sound.
