Prólogo
Estamos comenzando un nuevo siglo y un nuevo milenio. Esto no es solo un cambio de fecha en el calendario, sino un paso hacia una nueva etapa en el desarrollo de la Humanidad. Nuestro mundo está en proceso de una transformación global; podemos ver el impacto de ese proceso en nuestra vida diaria. La destrucción del sistema comunista de forma no sangrienta, instantánea y totalmente impredecible, ni por la CIA ni por Gorbachov; la prohibición de alimentos genéticamente modificados en Europa; el desarrollo de formas naturales de vivir sustituyendo a las desastrosas construcciones artificiales, basadas en el entendimiento mecanicista de las Leyes de la Naturaleza; las tendencias sociales hacia las formas naturales de nutrición, curación, y hábitos de vida saludables; la lenta pero firme tendencia a sustituir las drogas químicas por los métodos alternativos para la salud... Estos y muchos otros ejemplos demuestran el cambio desde al visión materialista de la vida hacia una más compleja, más holística y espiritual, combinando Cuerpo y Alma, Materia y Consciencia. Estamos iniciando una nueva Gran Revolución, no en la vida social, como las que hubo en el siglo XX, sino una Revolución en nuestra actitud frente a la vida, a la salud, frente a nosotros mismos. Las nuevas generaciones, son jóvenes con los mismos cuerpos que en la Antigua Grecia o la Europa medieval, pero con cambios en las funciones cerebrales. Podemos ver esta tendencia al cambio en niños de 2 y 3 años: son ligeramente diferentes a nosotros, según han demostrado estudios estadísticos de su actividad cerebral. Manifiestan una acción coordinada de ambos hemisferios cerebrales, con un dominio parcial del hemisferio derecho.
Y por supuesto, estamos alcanzando un Nuevo Paradigma en la Ciencia. Cada siglo, cada milenio formula su propia visión de la Realidad; un modelo que describe el funcionamiento de nuestro mundo. Este conjunto de ideas y leyes se denomina Paradigma1. En particular, un paradigma científico es un grupo de puntos de vista y datos experimentales, ampliamente aceptados, que describen la Realidad. En un sentido más amplio, un paradigma puede ser definido como la constelación de creencias, valores y técnicas compartidos por los miembros de una comunidad científica determinada.
Algunos paradigmas son de naturaleza filosófica, y son muy generales en su forma de abarcar la Realidad; otros gobiernan el pensamiento científico en áreas más específicas y circunscritas de investigación2. Mirando hacia atrás, en los cinco últimos siglos, podemos ver el cambio en los paradigmas científicos prácticamente de una forma simultánea al comienzo de cada nuevo siglo.
Kirlian and Kirlian Photography
Durante los tres últimos siglos, la ciencia de Occidente ha sido dominada por el paradigma Newtoniano-Cartesiano, un sistema de pensamiento basado en el trabajo del genio británico Isaac Newton y el filósofo francés Rene Descartes. Utilizando este modelo, los físicos han realizado asombrosos progresos, obteniendo gran reputación entre las demás disciplinas científicas. El universo mecanicista de Newton es un universo de materia sólida descansando en un espacio vacío absoluto. La distinción entre materia y espacio es clara y sin ambigüedades. El tiempo es absolutamente autónomo e independiente del mundo material, mostrando un uniforme e inalterable flujo del pasado al futuro, a través del presente.
Las leyes de la mecánica y el estado inicial describen totalmente el comportamiento y la vida pasada de cualquier objeto, ya sea átomo, partícula o planeta. La imagen resultante del universo es la de un inmenso reloj completamente determinado.
Otro impacto en la manera occidental de pensar vino de las ideas de Rene Descartes, que formuló el concepto del dualismo absoluto entre la mente (res cogitans) y la materia (res extensa). El resultado es la creencia de que el mundo material se puede describir objetivamente, sin referencia al ser humano. Existía un claro límite entre el mundo físico, con sus leyes objetivas, y el ser humano con su psicología; su comportamiento personal y social. Los seres humanos se proclamaron como observadores independientes, viviendo en un universo con sus cuerpos físicos y participando en su funcionamiento como unos sujetos mecánicos.
En el siglo XX el paradigma físico cambió dramáticamente. Los trabajos del genio Albert Einstein y 23
el posterior desarrollo del paradigma cuántico, no solo crearon la nueva visión de la realidad, sino que probaron su veracidad en el incontestable hecho de la revolución tecnológica de cuyos resultados nos beneficiamos en nuestra vida diaria3. Otra gran transformación se produjo a partir de los trabajos del premio Nobel Ilya Prigogine4 y otros grandes pensadores, que crearon una visión de nuestro mundo como un conjunto de sistemas de comunicación abiertos al intercambio de energía e información con cada uno de los demás sistemas y con el universo ilimitado. Se ha demostrado que el modelo de objetos independientes interactuando solo debido a la gravedad y las colisiones, es el primer estadio del entendimiento, una simple ojeada a lo lejano, y que cuanto más cerca estamos del objeto observado, podemos ver detalles más sutiles de su complicado comportamiento, y más difícil es describir dichos detalles en términos científicos.

Y lo que manifiesta mayor dificultad, es la comprensión del funcionamiento del ser humano y de su conciencia. El siglo XX fue un siglo de revolución en física; el siglo XXI será el siglo de la revolución en el estudio de la conciencia, estudio que combina las ideas de la física la biología y la espiritualidad.
El concepto de Dios fue esencial para ambos fundadores del paradigma Newtoniano-Cartesiano. Para Newton y Descartes, dicho concepto fue un elemento esencial en sus filosofías y visiones del mundo. Newton fue una persona de profunda espiritualidad que desarrolló un enorme interés en astrología, ocultismo y alquimia. El fue el "último de los grandes magos, antes que el primer científico5". Newton creía que el universo era material en su naturaleza, pero no pensaba que en su origen pudiera ser explicado a partir de causas materiales. En el paradigma de Occidente se ha mantenido y desarrollado una extensión lógica del modelo Newtoniano-Cartesiano, pero la imagen de la inteligencia divina que estaba en el corazón de las especulaciones de estos dos grandes hombres desapareció del escenario.
Para los físicos, las ideas de probabilidad de cualquier proceso en desarrollo, de la existencia del proceso en forma de onda y partícula simultáneamente, de no localización del mismo, de bifurcación y desarrollo en saltos, son comunes e inteligibles. En biología solo recientemente todas estas nuevas ideas han entrado a formar parte del pensamiento de algunos pensadores avanzados que se encuentran al margen de lo establecido. Es una pena, porque el mayor desarrollo de estos conceptos tiene relación con la moderna biología y la biofísica. Pero no solo en biología estamos encarando el proceso de un interés emergente de esta nueva visión de la realidad, de un nuevo paradigma; antes que nada esto concierne a las ciencias relacionadas con el hombre.
Con la llegada del nuevo siglo la ciencia entra en la era de la comprensión científica de las leyes profundas que rigen la vida humana y sus transformaciones. En el siglo XX la gente buscaba el bienestar material, altos ingresos económicos; pero esta no es la única condición para una vida feliz: "los ricos también lloran". Existen muchos otros pequeños y grandes asuntos relacionados con la felicidad: el amor, la muerte, la salud, el matrimonio, la familia, los niños, los impuestos... Es magnífico ser rico y estar sano, pero no son los requisitos únicos de la felicidad, y la nueva ciencia comienza a estudiar los requisitos internos para una vida feliz.
El desarrollo en el siglo XX de una técnica de estudio científico del aura humana ha sido un importante paso en esta dirección. Nuestra interpretación de la palabra Aura es la de un complejo de campos electromagnéticos y lumínicos con sus relaciones de información, asociados con el cuerpo físico de un ser humano. Es como un escudo con diferentes capas que existe alrededor del cuerpo, que acepta materia e información del ambiente, y refleja los procesos físicos sicológicos y espirituales de una persona. Siempre han existido personas dotadas con la capacidad de percibir las auras (no podemos llamar a esta habilidad visión, porque es una información que reciben a través de diferentes sensaciones). Estaban capacitados para realizar diagnósticos del cuerpo físico, comprender las situaciones y los problemas psicológicos, y aun predecir el futuro.
Pero ese tipo de personas es poco frecuente. Algunas escuelas de conocimiento anuncian lecciones de "lectura de auras". Ellos afirman que es posible aprender a ver el aura después de un entrenamiento específico. Esto es cierto, pero de una forma parcial. A veces, siguiendo el ejemplo de mi amigo el doctor Tom Chalko, profesor australiano, yo ofrezco este tipo de entrenamiento en mis seminarios. La experiencia me muestra que la mayoría de las personas pueden ver el aura después de un entrenamiento, pero sin ejercicios especiales realizados cada día, esta débil habilidad se perderá pronto. Aun más, como productos de nuestro tiempo, nos fiamos más de los aparatos técnicos que de nuestros propios sentimientos. La mayoría de las personas de la moderna sociedad occidental no pueden imaginar su actividad diaria sin dispositivos técnicos tales como los ordenadores, las televisiones, o los equipos de diagnóstico en medicina. Esta es una parte importante de nuestra civilización tecnológica y cada nuevo aparato crea una nueva visión de la realidad.
GDV Diagnosis Chart, GDV Maps, GDV Tables
Ahora ha nacido un nuevo equipo: la cámara BEO GDV, instrumento para medir auras por medio de la captura de imágenes Kirlian en un ordenador.
Este es el primer instrumento en el mundo que combina un procesamiento científico preciso y una aproximación al nivel espiritual; la moderna tecnología y la libertad en la interpretación, estando basado en las ideas de la filosofía de Oriente y la tecnología de Occidente6. La técnica de visualización por descarga gaseosa (GDV) está basada en el efecto Kirlian, fenómeno físico descubierto primero por el físico alemán Lichtemberg en 1777, posteriormente estudiado intensamente por científicos rusos y alemanes, y aceptada por el mundo moderno a través del trabajo de dos investigadores rusos: los esposos Kirlian. La aplicación de este efecto a la medicina7,8, la biología9, y la técnica ha demostrado un gran potencial de investigación. Gracias a la moderna tecnología y el procesamiento de imágenes por ordenador, esta aplicación ha llegado a ser práctica y fácil de emplear.
Conocimos a Fernando Sánchez el pasado año, cuando vino a San Petersburgo para participar en el Congreso Internacional "Science, Information and Spirit 99". Después de varios días de intercambiar información, nuestro equipo quedó impresionado por su profundo conocimiento y su entendimiento de la psicología de Occidente y la filosofía holística de Oriente. En un corto plazo de tiempo se ha convertido en un especialista en el uso de la Cámara GDV y la interpretación de sus resultados. (Hasta ahora, el desarrollo de equipo GDV y la obtención de resultados, aparatos y programas, ha resultado mucho más rápida que la posibilidad de ofrecer por escrito dichos descubrimientos y sus resultados). Una de las ventajas de Fernando es su capacidad de expresar ideas complejas en palabras simples. Su libro es un ejemplo brillante de la combinación de filosofía, teoría y práctica.
La técnica GDV goza de profundos fundamentos científicos10,11. Ella posibilita ver en tiempo real las
reacciones instantáneas a tratamientos médicos12, ejercicio13, estrés14, y -muy importante- a actitudes psicológicas y pensamientos. Puede observarse como el aura de una persona refleja el estado de conciencia. Esta característica abre puertas a una amplia aplicación de la técnica GDV en diferentes áreas, en especial en psicología. En esta etapa del desarrollo científico la bioelectrografía, disciplina que estudia las imágenes Kirlian GDV contribuye al cambio en la comprensión de los objetos biológicos: desde estructuras sólidas y estables hacia la percepción de dichos objetos como campos dinámicos en el espacio. Por ello vemos esta técnica no como un instrumento más de diagnóstico, sino como un paso hacia un nuevo entendimiento de la Realidad.
Estamos seguros que el libro de Fernando establecerá un nuevo paso en la aceptación y popularización del nuevo sistema de análisis holístico que es la técnica de visualización de imágenes Kirlian por ordenador (BEO GDV).
