Kargil Vijay Diwas 2021: Martyrs will be honored, 559 lamps lit in Ladakh. India celebrates 'Kargil Vijay Diwas' every year on 26 July. On this day in 1999, the Indian Army won against Pakistan. Celebrations have started across the country in the joy of completing 22 years of India's victory.

On Sunday, 559 lamps were lit at the Kargil War Memorial in the Drass area of ​​Ladakh to commemorate the major battles of Tololing, Tiger Hill, and others.
