Once more thinkin about this Prompt/AU

And I decided to sketch the level 1 forms the team (& Ellie) have along with sketches of their lvl 200+ Forms. I do believe Klarion is having a blast with his new friends and the Young Justice Team is going to have some Trauma from not knowing this is a Game.

(Click for higher quality) Also they are all now Mountain Sized or Larger. Also pondering them all having 3 stages to their bossfights. Second stages is when they start using more magic & less "minions" and final stage is when shit hits the fan & the surroundings get Wrecked. Like Tucker summoning a literal storm & getting lightning charged, or Sam fully emerging from the caves, or Valerie unearthing herself and the team realizing the entire dungeon-city was On Her Back.

What do you think of Kaldur/Dick Grayson pairing?

Love love love that pairing, but in a S2 or post S2 setting. S1, with Robin so young, the only ship I’m really comfortable with for him is Robin/Zatanna since she ‘felt’ similar in age, if that makes sense, but S2 and beyond.....there’s so many angles that make Kaldur/Dick work. 

Their shared burdens and the responsibilities they’ve both faced as team leaders. Their fear of not living up to their respective father figures’ expectations of them - Kaldur and Dick both always seeming to have felt so much more pressure to be worthy of the faith their mentors put in them, more so than say, Wally, who was a bit more secure about his place in Barry’s eyes, or Roy who generally didn’t care as much about his place in Ollie’s.

You could parallel or contrast their struggles to form their own families and sense of identities due to childhoods shaped by the death of Dick’s parents and Kaldur’s discovery of his father being Black Manta. You could show them growing closer due to the secrecy and intimacy required in planning Kaldur’s infiltration of the Light and the execution of it. You could do the inevitable Deathstroke’s Apprentice arc and build off the parallels of what that does to Dick and tie it to the things Kaldur experienced and did while working for the Light and show how that changed both of them and left them feeling a little separate from others who haven’t had similar experiences. You can show them bonding over their shared grief during the 5 Year Gap, with Kaldur having lost Tula and Dick having lost Jason. Or just play off of the fact that out of all the Team, they’re the two oldest friends left now with Wally ‘gone’ and Roy having grown apart from them over the years. Sooooo many angles you could take with them, and they’ve always just played off each other really well personality wise.

It’s kinda funny but my other big ships for either of them are kinda identical actually. My other big Kaldur ships are Kaldur/Artemis, Kaldur/Zatanna (magic users unite!) and Kaldur/Connor. My other big Dick ships in YJ are Dick/Zatanna, Dick/Connor and Dick/Roy.

(I know the big ships for Dick are Birdflash, Dick/Artemis and Dick/Babs, and I’m not like opposed to any of them for any reason, they just don’t really click for me. Sometimes it’s just a chemistry thing. *Shrugs* I love Babs, she’s one of my favorite characters, but even in the main comics continuity, I’ve never been a huge Dick/Babs shipper).
