PERSONALITY. ———————————— A kind heart kept protected by solid titanium, Kurou is gentle and caring as long as you don’t get on her bad side, you don’t necessarily want to see what dragon resides in her soul. She is thoughtful and wise, brave and spirited. She is resilient and focuses her all on achieving the best solutions. Kurou does tend to get lost in her thoughts and go silent for long periods of time. But because of that, she can come up with clever and cunning ideas. HISTORY. ———————————— Growing up in a realm of dragons and draconic humanoids, Kurou developed into a perfect candidate for the next Gatekeeper. She was favored by the Council, trained thoroughly for 25 years, and apprenticed for another 25. During that time, she did make room for family. She was raised by loving parents Hideto and Sayaka, along with a new baby sister on the way. However, due to lack of care and maintenance of the Atlas Reactor within the realm led to a catastrophic destruction that tore Kurou from her family. A rift breached the sky and ripped Kurou between the realms, eventually landing on Earth’s realm. She hid out in the cold peaks of Japan, and to her knowledge, she is the only one who ended up there.

MAIN. ———————————— The main verse is the Miya’s canon. It focuses on Miya’s life outside her home realm 100 years after the Tearing. BNHA. ———————————— MAIN BNHA: Miya now works as a nurse at U.A. and the local hospital. In doing so, she has adopted a few of the students, Aki, Ashton, and Noburu (All ocs, only Aki is mine). She did work as a pro hero for a short time, and does continue her workout routine from then. She knows Japanese, American, British, Spanish, French Sign Language and spoken/written Spanish. She is able to read lips, to an extent, if the person speaks. Miya does prefer if people would use sign language when communicating with her.

Tag: ;; shade upon the sun [main bnha] ALT BNHA: Things are pretty much the same as the first, however, in this verse Miya is a part of an underground hero group called The Scarlet Umbra on top of being a nurse. She’s a lot healthier, having found a good balance between her jobs so as to not limit her abilities. QUIRK: DRAGON SOUL. ———————————— Alias/Hero Name: (Former) The Fire Hero- Salamander Miya is able to create flames from her hands and she is able to breathe out small flames. Her quirk is powered by her blood, which has a flammable property. The intensity of the flames directly correlates with the amount of blood that is spilled. However, the epidermis layer of her skin has a special fire resistant attribute, but it burns away if she uses her quirk for too long. It also renders fire related quirks virtually useless. Her quirk is a combination of her father’s reptilian quirk and mother’s fire quirk. She is capable of growing her own scale-like armor, comparable to a dragon’s. They appear red with a deep blood-like hue in the right lighting. In addition, she also has backward facing horns and a tail. She has a small connection to ancient magic due to her ancestry, so she can perform minor healing magics by channeling healing energy properties from her blood to perform minor healing abilities. VILLAIN. ———————————— Ifrit, a powerful villain and arsonist, had set out to hurt those who hurt her and her family. And to get revenge on the heroes who refused to help her in a desperate time. Somewhat modified off of the main bnha verse where she went deaf, but instead of turning the negative into positive, she built upon the negative to gain power for revenge. WITCHER. ———————————— In the beginning, Miya made a deal with a local mage to change her appearance to be that of a young boy, in hopes that she would get picked up by any passing witcher to take her in. She was sick of the dead end village she lived in and wanted a life of excitement and adventure. Luckly, or not so, she was snatched up and taken to one of the many organizations, which one is now lost to her memory. However, 15 years later, at age 19 or 20, the spell broke and forever cursed her with deafness and changed her back to a woman. She fled the academy and took everything she could. Now she roams the world in search of her next contract just to survive.

GEN. FANTASY

Born with ancient dragon's blood in her veins, the draconid Miya hides herself away high in the mountains, as far from humanity as possible. From a young age she has learned that her blood holds immense magical properties that are sought out by many. Either by force or by pleading. She has experienced more of the former in her lifetime. Because of this, her knowledge of her family history, and by extension her draconid history, is limited.

Thus, Miya has learned to provide for herself by tending to a small plot of land and a few livestock on the mountainside. Here she spends her days living mostly alone. Occasionally, there will be the stray traveler that she will assist by giving directions or sparing some of her resources, but never allowing them to know what she is or where she resides.

If she were to ever travel close to humanity for whatever need, she cloaks herself in various fabrics and hoods to obscure her appearance. Miya would rather appear to be a mysterious or shady traveler than a draconid. She has been fairly successful in her excursions, and has found traveling at night to be the safest.

There are few humans whom she trusts who have not, or yet, shown any ill intentions. These people she will visit if they have resources for trade, before trying to test the waters with the local market herself. Miya much prefers to trade with them by offering hand woven fabrics and dried or cured meats in exchange for things such as vegetables or herbs that she cannot grow herself.

Currently, Miya is contemplating the pursuit of draconid history, however she lacks direction on where to start. Her library of family tombs can only be read so many times. So, she is willing to travel should she find a lead.
