Jaya Ekadashi 2024
Jaya Ekadashi 2024, a significant Hindu fasting day, holds a revered place in the Hindu calendar. Falling on the 11th day of the bright fortnight (Shukla Paksha) in the month of Magh (magh Ekadashi 2024), it is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is observed with great devotion and enthusiasm.
Jaya Ekadashi 2024 date:
Jaya Ekadashi 2024 will be observed on Tuesday, 20th February. The fasting for Jaya Ekadashi begins on 19th February 2024 at 8:49 am and concludes on 20th February 2024 at 9:55 am.
The Parana, or the breaking of the fast, should be done on 21st February 2024, between 6:55 am and 9:11 am.
Auspicious Yoga:
Jaya Ekadashi is associated with auspicious yogas such as Preeti, Ayushman, Tripushkar, and Ravi Yoga. These yogas are believed to enhance the benefits of worshiping Lord Vishnu on this day.

🌷. తాత్పర్యం : పరమాత్ముడు సర్వేంద్రియములకు మూలాధారుడైనను ఇంద్రియరహితుడు. అతడు సర్వజీవులను పోషించు వాడైనను ఆసక్తి లేనట్టివాడు. అతడు ప్రకృతిగుణములకు అతీతుడేగాక వానికి ప్రభువును అయియున్నాడు.
🌷. భాష్యము : జీవుల సర్వేంద్రియములకు కారణభూతుడైనను భగవానుడు అట్టి జీవుల భౌతికేంద్రియముల వంటివాటిని కలిగియుండడు. వాస్తవమునకు జీవులు సైతము ఆధ్యాత్మికమైన ఇంద్రియములనే కలిగియున్నను, బద్ధస్థితిలో అవి భౌతికాంశములచే ఆవరింపబడి యుండుట వలన వాటి ద్వారా భౌతికకర్మలే ప్రకటితమగుచుండును. కాని భగవానుని ఇంద్రియములు ఆ విధముగా ఆచ్ఛాదితము కాకపోవుట వలన దివ్యములై నిర్గుణములని పిలువబడుచున్నవి.
*గుణమనగా ప్రకృతి త్రిగుణములని భావము. అనగా అతని ఇంద్రియములు భౌతికఆచ్ఛాదనారహితములు. అవి మన ఇంద్రియముల వంటివి కావని అవగతము చేసికొనగలవు. మన ఇంద్రియ కార్యకలాపములన్నింటికి అతడే కారణుడైనను అతడు మాత్రము గుణరహితమైన దివ్యేంద్రియములను కలిగియున్నాడు. ఈ విషయమే “అపాణిపాదో జవనో గ్రహీతా” యని శ్వేతాశ్వతరోపనిషత్తు (3.19) నందలి శ్లోకములో చక్కగా వివరింపబడినది. అనగా భగవానుడు భౌతికగుణ సంపర్కము కలిగిన హస్తములను కాక దివ్యహస్తములను కలిగియుండి, తనకు అర్పించినదానిని వాని ద్వారా స్వీకరించును. ఇదియే బద్ధజీవునకు మరియు పరమాత్మునకు నడుమ గల భేదము.

15. sarvendriya-guṇābhāsaṁ sarvendriya-vivarjitam
asaktaṁ sarva-bhṛc caiva nirguṇaṁ guṇa-bhoktṛ ca
🌷 Translation : The Supersoul is the original source of all senses, yet He is without senses. He is unattached, although He is the maintainer of all living beings. He transcends the modes of nature, and at the same time He is the master of all the modes of material nature.
🌹 Purport : The Supreme Lord, although the source of all the senses of the living entities, doesn’t have material senses like they have. Actually, the individual souls have spiritual senses, but in conditioned life they are covered with the material elements, and therefore the sense activities are exhibited through matter. The Supreme Lord’s senses are not so covered. His senses are transcendental and are therefore called nirguṇa.
Guṇa means the material modes, but His senses are without material covering. It should be understood that His senses are not exactly like ours. Although He is the source of all our sensory activities, He has His transcendental senses, which are uncontaminated. This is very nicely explained in the Śvetāśvatara Upaniṣad (3.19) in the verse apāṇi-pādo javano grahītā. The Supreme Personality of Godhead has no hands which are materially contaminated, but He has His hands and accepts whatever sacrifice is offered to Him. That is the distinction between the conditioned soul and the Supersoul.

వాయు, వరుణ, బుధ, మంగళులు, ఇతరగ్రహములు మరియు వీర్యవంతుడగు కామదేవుడు కూడ మహేశ్వరుని వెనుక నడిచిరి (35). ఉగ్రదంష్ట్ర, ఉగ్రదండ, కోరట, కోటభులు కూడ శివుని వెంట నడిచిరి. వంద భుజములుగల మహేశ్వరియగు భద్రకాళీదేవి స్వయముగా (36). గొప్పరత్నములను పొదిగి నిర్మించిన విమానముపై కూర్చున్నదై ఎర్రని వస్త్రములను, ఎర్రని మాలను ధరించి, రక్తచందనమును పులుముకొని (37). చక్కని స్వరముతో పాడుతూ, ఆనందముతో నవ్వుతూ, నాట్యమాడుచూ, తన భక్తులకు అభయమును ఇస్తూ, శత్రువులకు భీతిని గొల్పుతూ (38)

O celestial sage, why shall I dilate? All the Śivagaṇas, residents of different regions went to fight with the Dānavas.
33-35. The eight Bhairavas[5] the terrible eleven Rudras,[6] the eight Vasus,[7] the twelve Ādityas,[8] Indra, the fire god, the moon, Viśvakarman, the Aśvins, Kubera, Yama, Nirṛti, Nalakūbara, Vāyu, Varuṇa, Budha, Maṅgala, the other planets and the valorous Kāmadeva went with lord Śiva.
36-37. Ugradaṇḍa, Ugradaṃṣṭra, Koraṭa and Koṭabha too went. The great goddess Bhadrakālī herself with hundred arms was seated in an aerial chariot studded with gems. She was wearing a red cloth and a red garland. She had smeared red unguents over her body.
She was dancing, laughing and singing in a sweet voice joyously. She was offering protection to her own people and striking terror to the enemies.

*The man and the woman cannot meet eternally; their meeting can only be momentary. That is the misery of love, and the joy too. The joy, the ecstasy, is because of the momentary meeting. At least for a moment one feels whole; nothing is missing; everything falls into one harmony. There is great joy, but soon it is lost. Tantra says, use this as a key-that the meeting with the outer can only be momentary. But there is an inner woman, an inner man; the meeting with the inner can be permanent, eternal. So learn the secret from the outside and apply it inside. No man is just man and no woman is just woman. This is one of the greatest insights of tantra … because a man is born out of man and woman, out of the meeting of these two polarities. *
He carries something from the father and something from the mother. It is also the case with the woman. So deep down each of us is the opposite, too; if the conscious mind is man, then the unconscious is woman, and vice versa. Unless you learn the art of meeting with the other inside, love will remain a misery, and joy a vicious circle, and you will be torn apart. That inner meeting is possible just as the outer meeting is possible. But the inner meeting has one thing special about it: It need not end; it can be a real marriage.

స్వాహా అనగా స్వర్గానుభూతి అనియు, ఆత్మానుభూతి అనియు అర్థము. 'స్వ' అనగా ఆత్మ. 'హా' అనగా ఉచ్చారణము. ఆత్మ నుండి సంకల్ప రూపముగ దిగివచ్చునది స్వాహాదేవి అని మరియొక అర్థము. అగ్నితత్త్వమైన శివునకు అగ్ని రూపమగు దేవి స్వధా అని లింగ పురాణమందు, స్వాహా అని అగ్ని పురాణమందు తెలిపియున్నారు. కావున స్వాహా అన్నను స్వధా అన్ననూ ఒకే శ్రీమాత తత్త్వమునకు గల రెండు నామములుగ తెలియవలెను. వీరి కుమారుడే షణ్ముఖుడగు స్కంధుడు. పద్మ పురాణమందు, మహేశ్వర పురమునకు అధిష్టాత్రి అగు శ్రీమాత స్వాహాదేవి అని తెలుపబడెను. ఈమెనే మహేశ్వరి అని అందురు.

Swaha means feeling of heaven and feeling of self. 'Swa' means soul. 'Ha' means pronunciation. Another meaning is Swaha Devi who can descend into the form of will from the soul. In Linga Purana, the devi in the form of fire to the Siva in the spirit of fire is called Swadha devi and she is called Swaha devi in Agni purana. Therefore Swaha and Swadha should be known as two names of the same spirit of Srimata. Skanda who is Shanmukha is their son. In the Padma Purana, it is stated that the Goddess of Maheswara Puram is Srimata Swahadevi. She is called Maheshwari.

Vijaya Ekadashi 2024
Vijaya Ekadashi, also known as Jaya Ekadashi, is a significant Hindu fasting day that falls on the 11th day of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Phalguna. This year, Vijaya Ekadashi is on March 6, 2024. The word "Vijaya" signifies victory, and marking this Ekadashi is believed to bring triumph and success in one's life.
The Significance of Vijaya Ekadashi 2024
Vijaya Ekadashi is considered particularly auspicious since it is believed to remove all sins and obstacles from one's life. It is said that remembering this Ekadashi with devotion and sincerity might lead to business success, spiritual upliftment, and fulfillment of desires.
Legend of Vijaya Ekadashi:
According to Hindu mythology, Indrasena was the ruler of Mahishmati. When his kingdom faced a severe drought, the monarch sought guidance from sage Medhavi. The sage advised him to fast on Vijaya Ekadashi to overcome the drought and achieve success in all of his endeavors. King Indrasena followed the sage's directions and fasted alongside his subjects. Soon, their domain was blessed with copious rain, bringing prosperity and harmony.
Vijaya Ekadashi Vrat Vidhi, or Fasting Rituals
Preparation: As part of the cleansing ritual, believers wake up early, bathe, and put on clean clothes.
Sankalp (Resolve): Before commencing the fast, make a Sankalp or commitment to keep it earnestly and devotionally, invoking Lord Vishnu's blessings.
Fasting: The fast begins in the morning of Vijaya Ekadashi and continues until the next morning (Dwadashi) after sunrise. During this period, followers refrain from consuming grains, beans, non-vegetarian meals, and certain spices.
Meditation and Prayer: Throughout the day, followers meditate on Lord Vishnu and chant his mantras to obtain his blessing. The Vishnu Sahasranama (thousand names of Lord Vishnu) and Vijaya Ekadashi Vrat Katha can be recited.
Night Vigil (Jagran): It is customary to stay awake all night during Vijaya Ekadashi, chanting bhajans (devotional songs) and reading writings about Lord Vishnu.
Charity: Giving food, clothing, or money to the poor is considered auspicious on Vijaya Ekadashi.
Breaking the Fast: Traditionally, the fast is broken the following morning (Dwadashi), after sunrise. To break the fast, consume water, fruits, and dairy products. Benefits of Observing Vijaya Ekadashi Vrat:
