So...I'd like to derail this post to celebrate the Italian Republic Day (June 2nd) because I don't have 5 songs I'm particularly into right now and I'd like to spam some good classic Italian songs that I'm generally into, that are always shown off during these holidays if in a friends group there is someone with a guitar ❤️

De Andrè is a wonderful storyteller. This song is about a girl who for work, out of boredom or just for passion gives her love freely to anyone. She ends up sent away by the wives of the last place she lands, but on her way, people knowing about her, search for her to show their love, until even the priest wants her during the procession next to the Virgin Mary. Most of Battiato's songs like this one, are playful and surreal mixes of irony, literature, philosophy and new age quotes. Sabato 10 Aprile settimo appuntamento con TIME FOR MUSIC, il music show televisivo di DiTutto dedicato al mondo del Clubbing. Guest deejay di questa puntata Pierpaolo Siano. Lele Procida lo ha intervistato prima della sua performance musicale.

Pierpaolo ciao e benvenuto sulle pagine di DiTutto! Nel tuo dj set per Time for Music hai scelto una location particolarmente suggestiva. Vuoi parlarcene?

Reputo fondamentale la location per le riprese di un video musicale, lo sfondo medioevale e la cornice paesaggistica possono fare la differenza. La torre angioina di epoca normanna rappresenta una delle bellezze storiche di un caratteristico borgo (Summonte) alla pendici di Montevergine in provincia di Avellino. Raccontaci la tua storia professionale, di come hai cominciato e come poi si sia evoluta fino a calcare le consolle dei club più importanti della Campania.

La mia storia inizia circa 11 anni fa quando dal pianoforte passo alla consolle , un passaggio molto diverso ma bello ed impegnativo, soprattutto ai tempi di oggi. Un amico mi ha sempre detto che la musica è infinita e allo stesso tempo non si finisce mai di imparare: questo è stato sempre il mio motto e non smetterò mai di ripeterlo. Dopo essermi affacciato in molti club campani, tra cui cito in particolare il Music on the Rocks di Positano, dove affiorano la maggior parte dei miei ricordi più belli ho avuto qualche esperienza fuori regione, esattamente a Milano.

È un periodo davvero particolare quello che stiamo vivendo. Dicci come trascorri le tue giornate e in che modo cerchi di tener sempre viva la tua passione.

Il Covid 19 ha stravolto tutti gli equilibri sociali e lavorativi di tutto il mondo, e in questo periodo trascorro il mio tempo ascoltando musica cercando nel contempo di farmi venire nuove idee. Sulla base di questo ho iniziato a creare delle miniserie girando video nella location più particolari e spettacolari, esperienze che possano rappresentare il mio stato d’animo attraverso la musica house ed elettronica.

Quanto conta la musicalità della tua terra, la Campania, ti influenza nelle tue scelte artistiche?

Il mio pensiero musicale è sempre radicato sulla deep house ed elettronica ma senza tralasciare la storia campana della house music, che credo dagli anni ‘90 ad oggi si sia distinta sempre in Italia diventando patria di moltissimi djs house.

Esiste un posto in cui non hai ancora suonato e nel quale ti piacerebbe farlo?

Sicuramente come tutti i miei colleghi mi vedrei bene a suonare in un club a Miami o Ibiza, ma credo ci sia tempo per crescere professionalmente e realizzare tutti i miei sogni! Giulio Todrani Alan Soul, Giulio Sangermano sono solo alcuni dei nomi d’arte con cui verrà conosciuto Giulio Todrani, il musicista romano diventato celebre negli anni Settanta grazie al duo che lo vede in coppia con Angela Bini, alias di Angela Cracchiolo. Pregiato musicista ed uno dei volti del blues romano, Giulio Todrani è conosciuto anche per aver trasmesso l’amore per la musica alla figlia Giorgia.

Francesco Boccia cantante e musicista che molti ricorderanno per aver composto ed interpretato “Turuturu” alla 51esima edizione del Festival di Sanremo è stato anche l'autore del testo di “Grande amore”, la canzone interpretata dal trio Il Volo e vincitrice del Festival di Sanremo 2015. Lo abbiamo ritrovato anche nell'appena trascorsa edizione sanremese con, "quando ti sei innamorato", un brano che porta la sua firma, interpretato da Orietta Berti.

The book edited by Fulvio Irace collects for the first time the corpus of writings by Emilio Ambasz, father, poet, and prophet of green architecture: fables, notes, stories, fragments and notes that lead to the heart of the poetic and creative Universe of the great Argentine inventor.

Just as Ambasz understands architecture as the search for a spiritual home, the poetic essence of his fables – accompanied by the drawings of Daniela Blandino – “resists time with its core of truth disguised as children’s fairy tales”, writes Irace. Extraordinary personality, Emilio Ambasz has crossed and crosses the world of creativity in the broadest sense of the term in many ways.

With the power of his anticipatory gaze, he wanted to represent the world of forms of a wonderful possible, combining, with his ‘gentle manifesto’, spiritual and material project, nature, and humanity.

Emotional and sensual, his projects are based on ideas and thoughts destined for a different approach to existence, and the collection of texts in this book retraces some of his most iconic creations, together with the tales of loved or dreamed cities and the dialogues with architects and artists with whom he established a singular relationship of ‘elective affinities’.

Emilio Ambasz to receive an honorary degree from the University of Bologna (Italy)

Known as the trailblazer for “Green Architecture“, the architect/engineer who went against the grain in the ’70s by covering his buildings with greenery will receive an honorary degree in Building Engineering – Architecture from the University of Bologna.

The ceremony will take place on Friday 25 June, at 4.30 p.m., at the Church of Santa Cristina (Piazzetta Giorgio Morandi, 2 – Bologna), when Emilio Ambasz, the trailblazer for “Green Architecture”, will be awarded his honorary degree. After a welcome by the Rector Francesco Ubertini and the Head of the Architecture Department Fabrizio Ivan Apollonio, Emilio Ambasz will receive an honorary degree in Building Engineering – Architecture. Closing the ceremony will be music from the Collegium Musicum Almae Matris.

The University’s Architecture Department explained the reason for Emilio Ambasz’s recommendation to be awarded the honorary degree as follows: “The Argentinian architect and designer was, from 1969 to 1976 curator at the Department of Architecture at the Museum of Modern Art of New York. Ambasz’s distinctive style as a pioneer is a combination of buildings covered with gardens, which he describes as “green on grey”: he uniquely went against the grain of the post-modernist and de-constructionist trends of the ’70s, covering his architecture with greenery.

As a designer Ambasz is constantly interested specifically in the relationships between anthropic space and natural space, and he adopted architectural and technological solutions that ensured his architecture was both highly integrated with its setting and improved the perceptual and habitational quality of the spaces. The intention, however, was not limited to the figurative dimension of the architectural results, but extended to the technological significance of the solutions, in terms of both construction feasibility and performance.”

Ambasz has demonstrated his vocation in the field of industrial and mechanical design, where he has conducted his own personal research into the development of design components and products that have led to numerous patents in his name (more than 220). Interaction with the world of industrial processes, and more generally with the dimension of problem solving in engineering, is a distinctive feature of his work as a design engineer.

Born in Argentina (13 June 1943, Resistencia, Chaco), Emilio Ambasz is also a citizen of Spain by Royal Grant. He studied at Princeton University, where he completed the 4-year undergraduate degree course in one year and received a Master’s degree in Architecture from the same university the following year. He was curator of Architecture and Design at the Museum of Modern Art of New York (1969-76), where he headed and curated numerous architecture and industrial design exhibitions, including the legendary exhibition Italy: The New Domestic Landscape, in 1972 (bringing Italian design objects to the attention of the whole world); The Architecture of Luis Barragan, in 1974; and The Taxi Project, in 1976.

An honorary member of the American Institute of Architects and of the Royal Institute of British Architects, Ambasz has twice been president of the Architectural League (1981-85). He has taught at the School of Architecture at Princeton University as Philip Freneau Preceptor of Architecture and was a visiting professor at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Ulm, Germany.

Some of the highlights among his architecture projects include the Grand Rapids Art Museum in Michigan, winner of the Progressive Architecture Award in 1976; the Casa de Retiro Espiritual in Seville, Spain, winner of the Progressive Architecture Award in 1980; the Conservatory of the San Antonio Botanical Garden in Texas, winner of the Progressive Architecture Award in 1985, of the National Glass Association Award for excellence in commercial design (1988) and of the Quaternario Award (1990); and the Acros centre in Fukuoka, Japan, which won the highly prestigious American Institute of Architects’ Business week/Architectural Record Award (2000) and first prize from the Architectural Institute of Japan (2001).

He also won First Prize and Gold Medal in the competition to design a master plan for the Universal Expo in 1992, held in Seville in Spain, to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the discovery of America. The headquarters he designed for the Financial Guaranty Insurance Company in New York won the Grand Prize at the International Interior Design Awards in the United Kingdom (1987), as well as the IDEA Award from the Industrial Designers Society of America in 1986.

He won first prize in the urban planning competition for the Eschenheimer Tower in Frankfurt, Germany (1986). His Banque Bruxelles Lambert in Lausanne, Switzerland, won the Annual Interiors Award (1983).

Ambasz represented the United States at the Biennale di Architettura in Venice in 1976.

Since 1980 Ambasz has been Chief Design Consultant for Cummins Engine Co. He has patented numerous industrial and mechanical designs, and his Vertebra chair – the first automatic ergonomic chair in the world, developed with G. Piretti, which triggered a new industry for the whole sector – is included in the design collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York. MoMA also included his 3-D Geigy Graphics poster and his Flashlights lamp in its design collection.

Important Emilio Ambasz solo exhibitions have been held all over the world, from MoMA in New York (twice) to the Milan Triennale (twice), to the Reina Sofia in Madrid, not to mention Tokyo, Geneva, Bordeaux, Zurich, Chicago, Philadelphia, Mexico City, San Diego and Saint Louis, celebrating his unique design, creative flair and moral commitment.

He has four Compassi d’Oro (1981, 1991, 2001, 2020 – the last one for his career), and he was named “Commander of the Order of the Star of Italy” in 2014, for “his contribution to Italian culture”. Ambasz has written numerous books on architecture and design, including Natural Architecture, Artificial Design, published for the first time by Electa in 2001 with an extended edition published four times since then.

D means Dynamite !

Siamo oggi giunti alla terza puntata del blog settimanale, quella dedicata alle squadre di Serie D, che qui in via dello Sport significa D come DINAMITE ! Il motivo si lega al fatto che sappiamo solo spaccare, nel senso buono e sportivo del termine, a questi livelli !

Il primo importantissimo risultato da riportare vede la squadra di D1 di capitan Volante, chiudere a punteggio pieno il Girone 4 della divisione regionale, assicurandosi il diritto a partecipare ai play off per la promozione in Serie C per la prossima stagione, in uno scontro diretto previsto in data 19 Settembre, contro la vincente tra la prima del Girone 6 (TC Sesto) e la seconda Girone 2 (TC Milano A).

Vittime (sempre sportivamente parlando) di turno gli atleti di Ecosport Pontenuovo, tutte nostre vecchie conoscenze per aver calcato i campi del Roland Garros di via dello Sport n volte in passato.

Tutti match a senso unico ancora una volta per i nostri alfieri, con nemmeno un set ceduto a dimostrazione del nostro livello oggettivamente superiore anche se come spesso succede i punteggi vanno interpretati alla luce della visione diretta dei vari match.

Il nostro numero 1, Turconi Emanuele, ha dovuto comunque impegnarsi per avere la meglio di un buon giocatore come Andrea Bernardotti, sempre insidioso con le sue traiettorie mancine e sempre ostico da battere. Il 63 61 finale ci parla di un match in cui comunque nella seconda frazione Emanuela ha maggiormente registrato soprattutto servizio e dritto, portando a casa il primo punto senza troppi patemi.

Sul campo 2 il nostro capitano, schierato questa volta in singolo e non solo nel suo proverbiale habitat di doppio, capace di superare con un break per set il 4.1 Luca Sansotera, davvero un ottima forma fisica e per avere ragione del quale Ivan ha dovuto ricorrere a tutto il suo talento, per sopperire al divario fisico. Una prova eccellente del nostro, a testimonianza di una buona attitudine a giocare i punti che contano. Bravo Ivan !

A completare il risultato pieno ci hanno pensato gli altri due giovani talentuosi Legnani Andrea e Baldoni Lorenzo, opposti rispettivamente al 3.3 Ducoli Franco e al 4.5 Morandi Marcello.

Risultati gemelli per i nostri gemelli del doppio (ricordando i recenti trascorsi nel campionato a squadre under 18) ed un 63 62 per entrambi a testimoniare un livello di gioco superiore e mai in discussione. Bravi entrambi i nostri boys a non farsi condizionare dal gran caldo e anche dalle distrazioni dei campi coperti dove le nostre ragazze lottavano in Serie B2 contro il Vavassori Tennis Team.

Un risultato quindi pieno, un percorso netto nel girone 4 e tante speranze per la sfida diretta il 19 Settembre. Vi terremo aggiornati appena avremo il nome degli avversari ma non prima del dopo le ferie !

Cambia la categoria, passiamo in D3 ma anche qui non riusciamo proprio a perdere.

La squadra A era impegnata in quel di Milano 2 e qui ci preme subito sottolineare una lietissima nota legata AL NOSTRO FOLTO BCINO DI FREQUENTATORI. Di fatto la squadra era in emergenza per via di un paio di defezioni e ci siamo trovati obbligati a reclutare al volo un giocatore appena arrivato tra i nostri tesserati, di buon livello essendo classificato 4.1 ma che di fatto non era mai stato chiamato in causa in questa stagione per il Campionato in questione. Stiamo parlando di Igor Roger (per via del suo essere tifosissimo del grande Federer) De Grandis.

La degna e bella conclusione di questa favola sportiva risiede nel risultato del match di Igor, un lottatissimo 46 76 62 contro il 4.2 Massimo Colombo che non solo ci porta un punto fondamentale ma soprattutto ci inorgoglisce per aver trovato un senso di attaccamento ai nostri colori di cui ringraziamo pubblicamente Igor.

Passano in secondo piano solo per gli aspetti emotivi ma meritano una giusta citazione le solite o meglio solide prove dei nostri due titolari Rossetti Luca (64 64 al 3.5 Rossi Fabio) e Mazzetto Stefano (63 62 al 4.2 Morelli).

Passando alla squadra B, incontro casalingo contro il Prosport Tennis di Gorgonzola che purtroppo non ha potuto schierare tutti i giocatori previsti per via di defezioni improvvise e che, a differenza del CTP, non ha tra le proprie fila tanti giocatori disponibili come il nostro Igor !

Di fatto solo due singolari disputati con il nostro numero 1 Nick Soria che ha la meglio sul 4.2 Lamagna Luca con un duplice 63 e Charlie Lusardi che invece preferisce replicare un 62 al 4.3 Parrilla Giordano per maggiore sicurezza portandoci sul 2 a 0.

A completare il clean sheet ci pensa la impeccabile coppia Soria/Mellace che ha questi livelli ha davvero pochi rivali e che nonostante qualche piccolo brivido finale porta a casa un ottimo 62 64.

Che dire ragazzi, siamo ancora in corsa per il primo posto, fiduciosi per lo scontro diretto con la Canottieri Milano di domenica 27 Giugno, dove ci giocheremo addirittura la chance di un derby da brividi con la squadra A in un eventuale tabellone ad eliminazione diretta.

Arriviamo alla squadra C e parliamo ancora di una vittoria, questa volta casalinga e per 3 a 1 contro la buona compagine del TC Boschetto.

Il solo punto perso devira dalla buonissima e volenterosa prova del nostro numero 1 di giornata, Giorato, opposto al maggiormente quotato (per via della classifica di 3.3) avversario Rizzi Paolo, con il nostro che cede solo per 64 16 63 dimostrando soprattutto nel secondo set di potersela giocare tranquillamente a questi livelli.

Ugualmente insidioso ma questa volta positivo il match con cui Stefano Biondi ha avuto la meglio sul 4.4 Carbucicchio Matteo sconfitto 46 61 62 con uno score che segnala in modo evidente come spesso Steve deve lottare soprattutto coi suoi nervi per trovare la calma necessaria.

Alla fine un 3 a 1 per noi CHE CI MANTIENE TRANQUILLAMENTE AL CENTRO DELLA CLASSIFICA DEL Girone 18, con tanta esperienza accumulata per i nostri giovani.

Siamo partiti dal punteggio pieno della D1, chiudiamo con il punteggio pieno della D4 maschile, la squadra rullo compressore del girone del Girone 9 con la netta vittoria anche su Tennis Enjoy di Carnate.

Carmagnola e compagni spazzano via gli avversari grazie alle vittorie di capitan Danilo (62 61 a Minnici) e di Giuliano Morandini (63 60 a Manganini) e al doppio ormai temuto in tutta Lombardia Giglio/Carmagnola che lasciano solo 4 games a Cogliati/Nasti.

Unica nota critica la prova ancora complicata di un Romeo Francesco che deve trovare in se stesso la calma che gli conosciamo da anni per recuperare fiducia grazie alle sue indiscutibili doti da lottatore. Sicuramente il traino dei compagni glielo permettera ne siamo sicuri !

(ANSA) Già nel 1990 e nel 1991 Autostrade Spa sapeva che nella pila 9, quella crollata il 14 agosto 2018, vi erano "due trefoli lenti e due cavi scoperti su quattro".

E' quanto emerge dall'avviso di conclusioni indagini che gli investigatori del primo gruppo della guardia di finanza sta notificando in queste ore ai 69 indagati più le due società Aspi e Spea.

Le accuse sono di attentato alla sicurezza dei trasporti, crollo colposo, omicidio colposo e omicidio stradale e rimozione dolosa di dispositivi per la sicurezza dei posti di lavoro.

2 - PONTE MORANDI, CHIUSE LE INDAGINI. TRA I REATI ANCHE L’OMICIDIO STRADALE

Sessantanove persone a rischio processo, insieme a due società: Autostrade per l’Italia e Spea Engineering, una nuova perizia in mano alla Procura che parla di «incosciente dilazione dei tempi, immobilismo, confusione e accavallamento di ruoli nella catena di comando della società concessionaria» e altre accuse messe nero su bianco sempre più gravi per gli indagati. E cioè, oltre ai reati dolosi, la nuova contestazione di omicidio stradale.

Dopo quasi mille giorni - 968 per la precisione - da quella tragica mattina del 14 agosto 2018, ieri il pubblico ministero Massimo Terrile ha firmato l’atto di chiusura delle indagini sul crollo del viadotto Morandi e la morte di 43 persone.

Questa mattina partiranno nei confronti degli indagati gli avvisi di conclusione indagini preliminari che saranno notificati dai militari della guardia di Finanza diretti dai colonnelli Ivan Bixio e Giampaolo Lo Turco tra oggi e domani.

Si tratta del preludio della richiesta di rinvio a giudizio. Il procuratore capo Francesco Cozzi ha voluto sottolineare «come non sia stato perso neppure un giorno nell’inchiesta».

Le novità principali riguarda un nuovo indagato e il reato di omicidio stradale. Per i pm che indagano sul crollo del ponte Morandi è stato come un maxi incidente dove hanno perso la vita ben 43 persone.

La condotta negligente dei responsabili ha provocato una strage. Per questo, dopo una lunga serie di riunioni, i magistrati coordinati dall’aggiunto Paolo D’Ovidio hanno ipotizzato la nuova accusa.

Che effetto potrebbe avere sul processo? «Alzare le pene finali», viene ribadito in Procura. Accanto all’omicidio stradale plurimo sono contestati il reato doloso di attentato alla sicurezza dei trasporti, il crollo e vari reati di falso.

La chiusura delle indagini ha come base la perizia degli esperti dell’accusa. Nelle conclusioni del documento viene riportato come ci sia stata «un’incosciente dilazione dei tempi rispetto alle decisioni da assumere ai fini della sicurezza».

Ma non solo. «C’è stata - scrivono - confusione e accavallamento di ruoli nella catena di responsabilità dei vari soggetti coinvolti, ovvero Aspi, Spea, Autorità preposte alla vigilanza e al controllo, consulenti e tecnici esterni».

Una confusione che ha avuto un ruolo nel cedimento: «Tale decisione avrebbe dovuto comportare scelte importanti, quali l’attivazione immediata di una serie di controlli a rilevamento continuo o, più semplicemente, l’immediata chiusura al traffico del viadotto e l’inibizione all’accesso e ai transiti delle zone sottostanti, anche solo a scopo precauzionale».

For one evening the Stadio Luigi Ferraris was a world unto itself in a city still recovering from the Morandi bridge disaster

The noise rolling down from the stands of the Stadio Luigi Ferraris was cacophonous, but TV microphones still picked up Ivan Juric’s final lament. “You have no souls!” protested the Genoa manager as officials ushered him out of the home dugout. “This is the derby!”

Note his use of the definite article. The Derby della Lanterna might not have the international profile of big-city rivalries from Milan or Rome, but it is felt every bit as keenly. Or perhaps even more so. Sampdoria have claimed a single Serie A title in their history. Genoa have nine, but none since 1924. When major trophies feel like a distant goal, local bragging rights carry greater weight.

When did you start singing? I always loved to sing since I was a child. I sang on every occasion, also during public events at school, where my maths teacher heard me and advised me to take singing lesson with her neighbour who was a voice teacher. He listened me, and he told me that I was ready to attend the conservatoire in Xi’an, my city. I went there, in few years I became the best student, and they asked me to start to teach students who were older than me.

In 1998 I debuted in Shanghai with Aida that is now one of my signature roles. In 2000 I started my international career after winning Placido Domingo’s Operalia Competition in Los Angeles. From that moment all the biggest opera houses around the world opened their doors to me and I sang regularly at La Scala, Opéra de Paris, Wiener Staatsoper, Arena di Verona (where I recently celebrated the 15th anniversary of my debut there) and The Metropolitan Opera where I’ll return on 12 October with Madama Butterfly. It will be my 5th time at the Met and my 3rd time as Cio Cio San.

Why did you start singing? Singing is my way to express my soul and my emotions. I heard opera for the first time at the conservatoire, a recording of La Bohème with Mirella Freni as Mimì and I fell in love with that music… I cried, and I thought opera was where I should head in life.

Which singer inspired you most when you were young? Absolutely Maria Callas!

Which singer do you most admire? Maria Callas will be my inspiration forever, but I also adore Montserrat Caballé.

What’s your favourite role? I don’t have a favourite role… I love all the roles that are in my repertoire… they’re like my children!

What role have you never played but would like to? Elisabetta in Don Carlo and Norma… but they’re two roles that I hope to sing in the future… never say never!

What’s your favourite opera to watch? Manon Lescaut! I love that music and that story!

Who is your favourite composer? Puccini and Verdi are the composers to whom I dedicated the largest part of my career.

Who is your favourite writer? I love the poetry of Luigi Illica, one of the most important playwrights of the late 19th century and librettist of some of the most important of Puccini’s operas.

Who is your favourite theatre or film director? I love Hugo de Ana, a wonderful director with whom I have worked with in many amazing productions.

Who is your favourite actor? Tom Hanks.

Who is your favourite dancer? Roberto Bolle.

What is your favourite book? The Moon and Sixpence by Somerset Maugham.

What is your favourite film? Roberto Benigni’s La vita è bella… so beautiful and poetic!

Which is your favourite city? Verona, the city where I decided to live!

What was your proudest moment? I’m the proudest person in the world when I’m on stage.

When and where were you happiest? When I’m on stage and singing well, in top form!

What is your greatest fear? My greatest fear would be that I couldn’t sing again.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I would like to have been stronger.

What do you consider your greatest achievement? I think that my greatest achievement is my career because I’m a Chinese woman that has a great career in the world of Italian opera. It wasn’t easy to absorb a different culture and way of living and thinking, but music is a universal language because it’s made from emotions and themes that are part of all of our lives. I’m proud of what I achieved. Today I can say that I have been brave and I hope that my story can motivate people. I’m so happy that it has inspired a movie, Hui He: the soprano from the Silk Road by Andrea Prandstraller and Niccolò Bruna and a book, Journey to the West: He Hui, a Chinese Soprano in the World of Italian Opera by Melanie Ho.

What is your most treasured possession? Can I say my voice? I think yes… that’s the most precious gift.

What is your greatest extravagance? We are artists, so extravagance is the rule!

What do you consider the most overrated virtue? If It’s a virtue, it can’t be overrated!

On what occasion do you lie? Michonnet in the first act of Adriana Lecouvreur sings, “Men sincera è la stessa verità” (More sincere than truth itself)… We’re actors and sometimes lying is human.

If you hadn’t been a singer what would you have liked to be? Maybe a painter… but maybe when I retire I will organise exhibitions with my paintings!

What is your most marked characteristic? My passion and my sensitivity.

What quality do you most value in a friend? Sincerity and honesty.

What quality do you most value in a colleague? Kindness and respect.

Which historical figure do you most admire? Maria Callas: she wasn’t only a singer, but an artist that completely changed the world of art, even becoming a fashion icon. She is an inspiration for all of us.

Which living person do you most admire? I admire so much Maestro Marco Armiliato with whom I made my debut at Salzburg Festival with Adriana Lecouvreur in August 2019, and Maestro Pier Giorgio Morandi who will conduct my performances of Madama Butterfly at The Metropolitan Opera.

What do you most dislike? Dishonesty.
