#I'm opposed to the broader progressive memeplex that has taken up kwanzaa as a cool multicultural but also distinctly black thing to do#but I don't think anyone really cares about kwanzaa and ostentatiously railing against it probably gives it more mindshare than it warrants#I'm also in favor of making up fake holidays in general#mostly posting this for the quotes
