thank you so much for including a transcript with the harpocrates clip but in future, if youre transcribing something w cursing in it that isn't censored the transcript shouldnt censor it /nm and ty again for transcribing at all
No problemo!
Got a couple questions / comments about the cursing thing though (some more polite than others) so I might as well clarify this here: I'm not "censoring" things because I think someone's going to explode if they see a curse word (it's the internet, after all), but there is a personal reason and I'd prefer not to elaborate further than that. I'm just running this blog and sharing my clips for fun, not as a job, so I hope people can understand / respect that!
That being said, I do appreciate the feedback and I'm not gonna stop adding transcripts to things since I personally find them helpful and I know they help other people too.

hey! i'm the anon who sent that ask about magic, intent etc.
thank you for the answer!
i found your opinions very interesting and i liked the way they differed from witchblr's usual idea of what witchcraft/magick "should" be. i definitely don't think intent is everything (and since i often struggle with concentrating and sitting still for long amounts of time, i do find i need something tangible to engage/stimulate my focus more).
i'll be honest (/nm /g), i don't know how to word the question because i'm so used to witchblr magick as "the only way" to practice and i'm trying to get out of that mindset and see different perspectives but it's almost like trying to describe a colour i've never seen before? like, i don't know how to describe what i'm looking for in a way. i suppose the best way i could phrase it now that you answered my earlier question is: what would a spell/ simple working look like for you? how would you put the energy you want to manifest into the spell/with the spell out into the world?
i don't know how you feel about sharing details of your practice, so if you don't want to answer that then that's totally ok! you've already given me lots of interesting stuff to think about! have a wonderful day/night/ whatever it is when u see this! /g

Hey, anon, so I'm going to keep this one kind of simple, because I feel like my tagged posts could kind of more easily pull you through those questions rather than me rambling on end.
Below, is a list of books from my personal library that I'd recommend looking for as a general "starter" (I hesitate to use this qualifier here), kit type of thing. These books will give you a solid understanding of how to potentially view the occult and witchcraft. They latter 3 are easy to get through as they are rather short, but they still hold a great deal to be fully understood and reviewed.
Regarding my own mindset and workings, I would ask that you comb through the following tags:
Spell work - I semi-regularly post spells and rituals under this tag.
Magic theory - I tailored this one a bit just now to help you along as much as possible.
Occult study - This could give you some inspiration for structuring your own studies.
The book list I mentioned:
Agrippa's Three Books of Occult Philosophy
Don't be overwhelmed at its size. This is a large book, but it's more of an encyclopedia or reference book really. I would suggest picking a topic that interests you or that you genuinely want to learn more about and finding the relevant sections/chapters to go over.
Drawing Spirits Into Crystal
A Deed Without A Name
Seven Spheres - cross examine with DSIC
Ending Note: Please feel free to continue sending asks or just DM'ing me privately, as I do not mind sharing resources / my thoughts at all with genuine folks. This answer isn't meant to discourage you at all from asking questions; I just feel it is the best means of answering in this case.
Thank you for asking these questions! I think seeking out different perspectives and inspirations for personal growth is a great thing, and I am more than happy to offer my thoughts on these matters!
Link to first post mentioned in og ask.
