#ponniyin selvan#tbt when I watched the film#I'd followed its release since 21' but hadnt really planned to go#the reason i even decided to go was not even for mani ratnam or aishwarya rai#but for sobhita dhulipala#i was going through a hugggeeee sobhita phase after kurup and raatchasa maamanaey had me under its spell#so then i watched the film in tamil with two non tamilians who barely even watched tamil films#not to forget that i was horrible with the language at that point of time too#so the film reached the end#oori sooriyare was playing and im trying to absorb as mych as i can#and suddenly they throw us the oomai rani scene#and i was shook-#the whole theatre screamed the second we saw aishwarya's eyes#and then theres my friend whos shaking me and yelling “who was thatttt” while i sobbed
