Because I never did end up having time to just do HelPol stuff once a week like I wanted to (a goal of mine sometime last year), I kept missing Noumenia & Sacred Danger Noodle Day so when we got our calendar for this year today (we order after the year starts to get it on discount :3 ) I took the time to add in all the Noumenia & Snek Day dates as well as put down the festivals I had written down in my HelPol binder when I was transferring over birthdays, anniversaries, and the like.

I don’t make any promises but hopefully now I’ll at least be a little more aware of things, and maybe once I’m done with this term paper I can take a semester off before getting into the final push (my research module & thesis) of grad school. If/When I do, I’d like to make religion a bit more of a priority because gods know I’ve missed just checking out of the world and checking in with Dionysos once a week. And who knows. Maybe, much like almost this time last year, just fucking off from university things for a while and focussing on Dionysos will help my mental health. (I burn out so very quickly. So, so very quickly.)

Which reminds me that it’s almost been a year. I think I started worshipping Dionysos in February last year -- it was right around Anthesteria because I remember thinking that it was some sort of sign. I also remember thinking to myself, hey, you’ll be looking back in no time thinking, damn! a whole year!, and here I am nearly there already thinking exactly that. Maybe I should do some sort of special something to celebrate
