my main reasoning for timeskip!silv having long hair is for the sole purpose of dragon baby storage

#kagarts#rival silver#trainer lyra#pokemon hgss#this would count as like. silver’s bag/storage in a way if he doesn’t have his big pocket jacket from gsc#I think hammerspace hair is one of my favorite tropes#learned a neat trick from iris when he’s training to become a dragon tamer#lyra spoils the little noodles a lot so they can smell when she’s brought em treats#but when lyra makes him a guest speaker for a class she teaches it definitely draws their attention#think it’d be the nicer turnout that he’s really good with kids#the dratini will eventually miss being portable once they evolve#picturing several dragonair burrowing their heads in his hair on chillier days
