Been enjoying Ancient Greek plays lately. They’re a bit fucked but also fascinating and incredibly tragic and thought provoking
#spicy speaks#read Medea today#gruesome and heinous#but also an extreme representation of what love can do to people#I think examining these plays with a modern lens is literally so inaccurate bht hard to stop#at first I was like omg girlboss slay kill Jason#then she ended up brutally murdering her sons and I was just like oh.. oh no…#girl felt NO remorse#she just flew away on her chariot#like yeah she hesitated a few times but STILL KILLED THEM#and had zero remorse afterward#bitches be bonkers fr
