Idk if you've seen Snapcube's Sonic realtime fandubs but there's this iconic line where Dr. Eggman just sighs heavily and is like "I miss my wife, Tails, I miss her a lot. I'll be back."
And I can see Jing Yuan doing something like this, like it's just been a long day and he misses you and wants attention and just says this as he gets up from his desk and takes an early lunch so his wife can comfort him.

He's themed around antique scientific instruments for some reason
