#the wheel of time#moiraine damodred#moiraine sedai#wheel of time#greenawaying#mine: wot#no idea what tag to use#I hadn't done one of these in a while#I didn't pick the simplest painting to blend either but it's still as relaxing as I remember#insert spiel about Aes Sedai and narratives of women with powers#I am not far enough into the books to comment on why there is such a bias against Aes Sedai#but it is interesting how soon Moiraine addresses that Aes Sedai are just people#neither better nor worse#capable to be as petty and good and vile and mediocre as others#obviously there is the weigthy question of the White Tower as an institution#New Spring had very odd Diderot's La Religieuse vibes#and power as a source of madness for men but for women it's this#whatever this is in-universe and that I have complicated feelings about#on women and madness and monstrosity and religions
