‘Putting a Spin on Listen Before I Go’ by Egg: chiaki would definitely like some of billie’s songs like ‘Therefore I Am’ but she’d dislike the dark tune so when she found the song with a more playful tune, it was already in her playlist. this could be like some sort of connection to her execution and how she told she’d still be cheering them on. it’s just so sad :sob:
’Primadonna’ by MARINA: i’m just gonna say this reminds her of besties, akane and sonia and it’s just a comfort song for when she’s feeling lonely
‘My Ordinary Life’ by The Living Tombstone: she likes the sound effects and the meaning of every lyric like “They treat me like a God, I’m lost in their facade.” and “When you become untouchable, you’re unable to touch”
‘Slumber Party’ by Ashnikko ft. Princess Nokia: she doesn’t like the lyrics bc it’s so explicit, she just likes tune ngl
‘Love Like You’ by Steven Universe ft. Rebecca Sugar: it’s just her dreaming about hajime and everyone else able to live the heart-throbbing school trip successfully and that she was pulled from the Neo World Program, able to live with everyone
‘SugarCrash!’ by ElyOtto: it’s her constant mood and her favorite song
‘Oops’ by Little Mix ft. Charlie Puth: crushing on hajime anthem 😩
‘I Love You Always Forever’ by Betty Who: she just wants all of her friends to come back into the real world and become true symbols of hope for the world
‘Secret Garden’ by EmpathP: she just loves video game songs and undertale is no exception! plus it’s so sad
‘Carousel’ by Melanie Martinez: melanie’s love definition of a carousel matches how she’s just a program. there’s just a code to guide her every step, almost little to no freedom
‘Hey There, Delilah’ by Plain White T’s: it’s just that moment that chiaki and hajime met while they were floating and it’s so cute, sad, and wholesome
‘Can’t Sleep Love’ by Spencer Kane: just a fluff song she likes ngl
‘If I Could Tell Her’ by Dear Evan Hansen: Evan’s dilemma to lie to Zoe about Connor reminds Chiaki of when she had to hide as the traitor :weep:

‘Strawberry Shortcake’ by Melanie Martinez: chiaki is a good woman who stands for justice. she supports LGBT and feminism (not the toxic kind!) and thinks it’s sad how schools punish girls for dress codes. teach the boys to be respectful too 👏🏻
‘Show & Tell’ by Melanie Martinez: she sometimes thinks she’ just a doll on display and then this is probably the point in the playlist starts having an existential crisis
‘Hated by Life Itself’ by Mafumafu: for those sad times. then the killing school trip continues to loop in her head, imagining the pain of those like sonia when gundham was executed then she ends up just making herself feel bad
‘Sweet Hibiscus Tea’ by Penelope Scott: this is just a hurt/comfort song to chiaki 😔
‘Freaks’ by Jordan Clarke: she loves this song to death sdjdjddjdsj. all of her classmates had unique personalities and quirks and she loved them for it. chiaki is so wholesome sdjdjdjd
