Who fell for the other first? - Eden. From day one, she was enamoured by Nessa’s quiet confidence, and they made an effort to keep in touch.

Who said "I love you" first? - Nessa. It wasn’t long after the infamous fourth date (which I may or may not end up telling you about) that Nessa decided to take the plunge and make it official. The resulting confession cost some of her fellow gym leaders big time; they’d made bets as to who’d drop the bomb first.

Who is more affectionate in public/private? - Eden is far more open and affectionate in her public life, making no secret about how much she loves having Nessa in her life, much to the latter’s sheepishness. She wishes she could be as carefree as that.

Who initiates cuddle sessions? - Eden. She’s huggy without being clingy. Sometimes, she just wants to have her partner close because she can scarcely believe how lucky she is to have her.

How do we cheer each other up? - As established, Eden goes down the more physical routes, with cuddles or massages if Nessa’s had a stressful day. Nessa’s go-to is to put on a film, and talk through ways to solve the problem as they watch it. If they both feel especially crappy, though, they’ll gladly turn to their Pokémon for support - Nessa’s two Drednaw are surprisingly receptive to pets and play.

Who is more likely to plan a surprise date for the other? - Nessa. Even the little details, like the route they’ll take to the date spot, are planned meticulously. Eden revels in the depth of her partner’s ideas, and she’ll go along with most suggestions with unabashed glee.

Who suggests the more creative date ideas? - Eden. Hey, Pokémon battles totally count as dates, right? It’s a bonding exercise!

Who steals the other's clothes? - Nessa. The girl can look good in just about anything, including her girlfriend’s hoodies. Eden’s never quite sure how to react - she frankly feels humbled that Nessa could work them like she does.

Who is more likely to leave cute little sticky notes for the other to find? - Eden. If ever she knows Nessa will come home late, she’ll leave notes all over the house for her to come back to. It’s the little things.

What our favourite thing to do during the summer is? - Eden collects seashells, and Nessa uses her favourites as decor for the house. Either that, or she’s trying to talk Eden out of fishing for wild Pokémon on what’s meant to be a relaxation session...

What our favourite thing to do during the winter? - Building snow replicas of their Pokémon. Reactions from their muses vary - Stella, Eden’s Swellow, seemed less than amused...
