house warming

ben, rose, nolan, sloane, chase, evie, kai, sam, mei, henry, jack, carson, and jacob @ rosen’s new house may 14th

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben finishes getting the house all ready for the housewarming he and Rose were hosting. “Alright, Sloane texted me and said she’ll be here in a minute which means basically everyone else will be too.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose is sitting on the barstool in their kitchen, starting to pick at the food as she nods, “Good because I’m not waiting any longer, I’m hungry.”

💙😳😏 Nolan takes a deep breath and holds it for a few seconds before letting it out and opening the front door like Ben told him to, smiling as he pokes his head inside Rosen’s place, “Uh, hey guys it’s Nol! I brought beer’”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben grins at him, “Come in!” He goes over to hug him and Sloane walks in behind him, “I’m here too now!”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose continues to eat a few more pieces of popcorn while Ben greets them before finally standing up and leaning into Ben’s side, “Hey, guys. Thanks for coming and for the beer.”

Chase is following Kai and Evie into the new place and looks around as he does, “Damn, this is nice.”

💙😳😏 Evie strolls in with the boys and makes her way directly to Rose, pulling her into a big hug with a giggle, “Hello hello!!! How exciting it this?!”

Nolan hugs Ben back and sets the beer he brought down on the counter before looking around a little and giving Sloane a wave as he jokes, “Hey stranger.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose laughs and hugs Evie back, “Hey, E.” She pulls back and hugs Chase then Kai.

Chase fake sniffs and pretends to wipe his eyes, “They grow up so fast, don’t they?”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles and holds out a bag with wine, “I brought wine.” Ben smiles, “Thank you!” He hugs her then takes it and goes to set it down.

She grins at him, “Hey you. How are you?”

Kai grins and wraps his arms around both Evie and Rose, “It’s gorgeous!”

💙😳😏 Evie grins as she leans into Kai and nods in agreement, “Are you going to give us the official royal tour, your majesties?”

Nolan shrugs and puts his hands in his pockets, “Can’t complain. Although the idea of these two living together is still something I’m trying to wrap my head around.. How are you?”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose rolls her eyes at Chase and shakes her head, “Ben can do tours, he’s much better at them. I’ll man the drinks.”

Chase laughs and nods, “Speaking of which, thought we’d bring some champagne, Evie’s choice obviously. And some rum from us boys.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben comes over to Rose and he smiles, rubbing her lower back, “I heard my name and tours.” Kai grins, “Yeah, you’re giving us all one!”

Sloane smiles at him, “Was just a matter of time. Are you sad in the frat house without him?” He takes his hand and tugs him to the other group so they can join in on the tour.

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose looks over her shoulder at Ben and grins, “Just adding something to your resume, Benny.” She pulls back from her friends and nods, “How about everyone gets a drink first?”

💙😳😏 Nolan nods as he laughs a little, “That must be it, I’m lost without my bro.” He raises his eyebrows and silently hopes his palm doesn’t get sweaty as he follows Sloane’s lead towards everyone else.

Evie agrees with Rose and gives Chase a look, “It’s champagne time! We must start off the celebration with a toast!”

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase laughs and nods his head as he hands Ben the champagne before going to grab the cups that they have out. “Alright, go for it!”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben laughs, “Alright! Here we go!” He pops the champagne and Sloane cheers. Kai claps and grins, “Yesss, now the party’s started!”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose grins up at him and shakes her head before taking the cups from Chase.

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben grins widely and starts to pour everyone champagne, “Thank you all for coming. The start of the tour will begin in approximately five minutes, I just don’t want to leave my fiancées side quite yet.”

Kai grins at them, “Awww, cute and cheesy!”

Sloane laughs and looks at Nolan, “Are you free from DJ duties tonight, you think?”

💙😳😏 Evie holds her cup out excitedly and thanks Ben and once everyone has some champagne she clears her throat and holds up her drink, “I just want to say how proud and happy I am for my dear friends Rose and Ben! May this next step in your lives bring you nothing but joy and adventures!!”

Nolan smiles at Sloane and slowly nods his head, “You know what, I think I am. At the frat house, I’m usually the host so I feel obligated to, but here I’m just a guest. I’m off the clock tonight.” He chuckles and holds his champagne up as well, chiming in after Evie, “Hear, hear!”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose takes her champagne and leans into his side with a smile as she raises her brows at Evie. “Thanks, E. You’re such a sap.” She laughs and cheers before taking a sip.

Chase lifts up his cup and cheers before taking a big sip, “And for this new dope party house!” He winks at them with a grin.

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben grins and cheers, “Thank you, Evie. Chase, That’s gonna be a hard no.” He laughs and looks down at Rose before sipping his champagne. Kai smiles, “We’ll have a lot of options of places to host.”

Sloane smiles at Nolan, “That mean I can convince you to dance with me?”

💙😳😏 Evie beams before taking a sip of her champagne and adding, “Our place is always an option! I love hosting! Besides, it would give the boys an excuse to clean up after themselves for once.” She giggles as she winks at Kai and Chase.

Nolan’s eyes bug out at Sloane’s request and he laughs nervously, “Have you ever seen me dance? Scratch that, have I ever seen myself dance? I think the answer to both is no.” He chuckles and continues softly so only she can hear, “But maybe I could be convinced after a beer or two. One of my resolutions this year is to try new things, so I guess that might start tonight with your help.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose narrows her eyes and shakes her head at Chase before looking up at Ben with a smile, “Cheers to us, Benny?” She holds up her cup to his.

Chase shrugs innocently before laughing at Evie’s comment. “We aren’t that bad! I mean clearly it’s clean enough that you aren’t leaving us too.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben grins and clinks his cup against hers before taking a sip, and he laughs at Evie and the boys. “Well, actually, Evie.. When we were finding a place for us, we happened to find one that we agreed would be perfect for you.” He takes keys out of his pocket and holds them out to her, “So now it’s yours.”

Sloane smiles as she listens to Nolan, nodding her head, “I can make that work.” She grins and winks at him.

💙😳😏 Evie starts to say she would never leave the boys but drops her jaw as she watches Ben, furrowing her brow slightly as he holds out the keys to her. She hesitantly takes them from Ben and inspects them and stares at Rosen, “You guys, if this is some prank, I’m not laughing.. Are you.. are you being serious?”

Nolan bites down on his lip nervously and nods with Sloane before remembering to sip his champagne, downing most of it in one go before laughing, “I am not paying attention at all, look what you’ve done.” He teases Sloane as he sets his empty glass down on the counter.

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase raises his brows as he watches them before trying not to frown. He quickly takes a sip of his champagne and starts over to the bar to grab some food.

Rose laughs and nods her head as she glances at Chase before turning back to Evie. “It’s not very big but it’s enough for you and your own studio. Plus it’s adorable.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Kai’s jaw drops and he laughs, moving his hand to Evie’s shoulder, “Evie, that’s amazing!” He gently squeezes her shoulder and then goes to look at Chase, and he frowns as he seems him walking off. And he quickly goes after him, “Buddy..”

Ben grins widely, “But it is very Evie and not a prank at all. We can’t wait for you to see it.”

Sloane laughs and grins at him, “Hey, that’s one less beer for me to have to convince you with.”

💙😳😏 Evie gasps a little as she stares at the keys then back up at her friends and shrieks excitedly, “Oh my god! You’re serious?! Rose, Ben.. I... How can I accept this?! A place of my own where I can live and work and... I don’t know what to say!” She starts to tear up a little and rushes to hug both Ben and Rose, “Thank you, thank you! I cant wait to see it.”

“Touché.” Nolan laughs at Sloane and then gets distracted by Evie’s shrieks, raising his eyebrows a little, “Damn, that’s some gift.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben grins widely and hugs Evie with one arm so Rose can hug her too, “You’re welcome!”

Sloane nods and smiles, “They’re pretty amazing like that. Especially since not everyone has a palace waiting for them in their future.” She shrugs and then looks at Nolan with wide eyes, realizing he’s a prince, “Not that I’m assuming you do.. shit sorry that sounded mean.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose looks at Kai and nods her head as he walks away before turning back to Evie. She hugs her back and laughs, “You deserve it.”

Chase looks up as Kai follows him, “What?” He eats some chips and shrugs, “I didn’t want to impose on their moment.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Kai looks at Chase and half smiles, “It’s me. You are allowed to be honest.”

💙😳😏 Evie pulls back from Rosen as she wipes a tiny tear off her cheek, “Look at me, I’m a mess! Today is supposed to be about you two! I don’t want to steal your spotlight.”

Nolan offers a “Congrats, Step-Aunty” in Evie’s direction as a measure of good faith then listens to Sloane, blinking a little as she apologizes. He laughs and shrugs, “I mean, I do, but I don’t have to take my parents up on their offer if I don’t want to. Don’t worry, no offence taken, I get it.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben smiles at her, “Please, take our spotlight. We just wanted to show our love and appreciation even if that’s not what Rose would say.”

Sloane lets out a breath of relief and she smiles at Nolan, “Okay, good. Not trying to piss off my potential dance partner.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase rolls his eyes and shrugs, “Just didn’t expect that.” He sips his drink, “Whatever, she deserves it.”

Rose laughs and nods her head, “Listen to my fiancé. Plus you can always take the spotlight from me.” She reaches out and squeezes her hand.

💙😳😏 Evie holds Rose’s hand in hers for a moment before clearing her throat and smiling, “Well, thank you, thank you times infinity! How about that tour for real now, hm?”

Nolan shakes his head and chuckles, “We’re still a ways away from that, but not because of anything you’ve said or done, I swear.” He looks over at Ben and grins as he starts to chant, “Tour, tour, tour!!”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose nods and sips her champagne, “Alright!” She laughs and moves to take Ben’s hand, “Lead the way.”

Chase looks up as he hears Nolan chanting before patting Kai’s shoulder, “Let’s go on the tour.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Kai nods his head, “She does deserve it and maybe you two will get even closer now that you’re not living in the same house. And besides, you’ve still got me.” He smiles and then nods, “Let’s go!” He goes back to the group with him.

Sloane grins before going over to Evie and hugging her from the side, “Congrats on your new place! I was half expecting the boys to put their hands out and go okay our turn.”

Ben laughs, “Okay, okay! Thank you for the support, Nolan. If you’ll all follow me into the kitchen.” He starts to lead everyone.

💙😳😏 Nolan goes closer to Ben once Sloane heads towards Evie and follows him into the kitchen whistling in amazement as he looks around. “I know you’re royalty and all, but shit.”

Evie pulls Sloane into a tighter hug as she giggles, “I wouldn’t put it past them! Thank you! You’re of course welcome to come over for girls nights whenever the mood strikes.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben grins at Nolan, “and this house was never even owned by royals. A lot we renovated but the kitchen has most of its original bones.”

Sloane grins, “Ohhh, I could have my aunts make us some of the best face masks you’ve ever tried.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose nods and smiles as she looks around, “I wouldn’t want it to be too ‘royal’ for our own place.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Kai grins as he looks around, "Dang, taco night is gonna be fun in here!" Ben laughs, "Now that, we definitely wouldn't mind hosting."

💙😳😏 Nolan looks around in awe as he listens to Rosen then perks up at Kai’s suggestion, “Count me in for tacos. I’m on a Mexican food kick lately, can’t get enough.”

Evie drops her jaw a little before exclaiming, “Like passed down from actual goddesses? I need that type of skincare in my life! I was just saying to the boys the other night I wanted to make DIY face masks!” She turns around to Kai and Chase and smiles at them, “Didn’t I?”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Kai grins widely and high fives Nolan, "You like enchiladas? I have a killer reci-" He gets distracted by Evie and looks at her with a smile, "Yes, you did, and I'm very happy that Sloane is willing to take my place in the DIY face mask adventure."

Sloane laughs and nods at Evie, "Aunt Aphrodite's masks are my favorite. I could have her teach us."

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase looks around the place and chuckles softly at Evie’s comment, nodding before sipping his drink.

Rose laughs and nods her head, “As long as everyone else does the cooking, that’s fine with me.”

💙😳😏 Nolan returns the smile as Kai high fives him and waits until he finishes talking to Evie, “Let’s do it up, man. I’ve been playing around with guacamole recipes and am always looking for more taste testers.”

Evie reaches out and squeezes Sloane’s hand as she squeals, “I am so there!” She links her arm with Sloane’s as they look around the kitchen and thinks out loud, “I am definitely cooking our holiday meals here. So gorgeous.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben smiles at Rose and laughs, "I guess our casa is now su casa."

Sloane grins widely at Evie and then at Rose, "You'll come too, right?" Kai smiles at Nolan, "This is happening. I hope you know that now."

😈🐶🏑✨ “With warning, su casa. Not a free for all.” She laughs and raises her brows at the girls, “Yeah, sure. Evie has forced me to suffer through her ‘spa’ days living together so I guess here and there I can attend now willingly.”

Chase looks over at Ben and nods, “Where to next?”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben smiles, “Umm, you’ve seen the foyer, living room, kitchen, I guess now the dining room and then movie theater.”

Sloane grins at Rose then Evie and wiggles her brows.

💙😳😏 Evie cheers when Rose agrees to join in and continues to walk with Sloane, dropping her jaw at Ben’s words, “Movie theater?? I didnt know about that part!”

Nolan nods excitedly at Kai, “I’m so down. I know we can always count Ben in and uh, hey Chase? You game for a Mexican food night with the guys sometime soon?” Nolan calls over to Chase with a smile.

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose laughs as she squeezes Ben’s hand and starts to lead them towards the dining room.

Chase raises his brows over at Nolan, “Yeah, man. I’m in. I’ll bring tequila.” He chuckles and holds up his hand to fist bump him.

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben chuckles, “It was a playroom but we don’t have to worry about that for a while so we converted it.” Sloane laughs, “Wow! This house is a dream!”

Kai grins and points at Chase, “My man!”

💙😳😏 Nolan grins at the guys, “Alright! We can have it at the frat house if no one else wants to host, I don’t mind.”

Evie giggles at the boys making plans as they enter the dining room and she drops her jaw, nudging Sloane’s arm, “Pinch me, go on.. There’s no way our friends live here!”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose smiles and squeezes Ben’s hand, “You guys can have a boy’s night here. This theater is made for you guys.”

Chase widens his eyes as he looks around, “Holy hell..this place is insane.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Kai lets out a low whistle, “Wowza! Thanks Rose!”

Sloane laughs and squeezes Evie, “They do! It’s incredible.”

Henry comes to the front door with Sam, Mei, and Jack before looking at Jack as he knocks on the front door, “So, do you think your brother will actually show up?”

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack wrinkles her nose and shrugs as she looks up at Henry, “Oh who knows? He isn’t a big party person but since it’s a smaller get together he might.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Mei bites her lip, “With Carson, probably.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack huffs softly and looks back at Mei and Sam, “Don’t remind me.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben raises his brows as he hears the door, "Oh, that should be the rest of the group. Rose, you continue the tour, I'll let them in." He smiles and kisses her cheek before going to the front door and opening it for the four. "Hey, you all made it! Come on in."

💙😳😏 Evie brings Sloane with her as she inches closer towards Rose once Ben leaves, “Where to next?”

Nolan looks surprised at the sound of the door and chuckles, “I didn’t realize more people were coming.”

Jacob waits from a distance as he watches the others approach the front door before texting Carson that he’s at Rosen’s house and waiting for her so they can go in together.

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane laughs as she goes with Evie to Rose.

Kai nods his head, “Henry and Jack. I think Mei and Sam. Probably Carson and Jacob.”

Carson gets to Rosen’s just after Jacob but she sneaks up behind him, “Bah!”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose nods to Ben before smiling at the others, “Dining room before we go upstairs?”

Jack smiles as the door opens, “Hey!” She quickly hugs Ben, “Oh my god this place...” she walks inside and looks around.

Sam squeezes Mei’s hand before letting go to say hello to Ben, “Thanks for inviting us.”

💙😳😏 Evie giggles as she speaks, “You mean the “Royal Dining Room”? I think that’s officially how you need to introduce each room with how beautiful it is here.”

Nolan thanks Kai for the heads up and watches as practically everyone he named walks in, offering them each a polite smile and the occasional wave.

Jacob gasps and whirls around before playfully nudging Carson’s arm, “Holy shit.. Way to give a man a heart attack!”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane laughs, “That might end up being a mouthful for them.”

Ben laughs and hugs Jack before shaking Henry then Sam’s hands, “I’m glad you were all able to make it!” Mei smiles and hugs Ben, “It’s beautiful here.”

Carson laughs loudly and links her arm with his, “Oh come on, Jakey. You should always be aware of your surroundings.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose rolls her eyes and laughs at Evie, “It’s not the castle. No royal anything.” She smiles and shakes her head before saying hello to the newcomers.

Jack grins and looks around, “I didn’t miss a tour, did I?”

Sam shakes his hand and nods in agreement with the others.

💙😳😏 Evie giggles with the girls and waves to the joiners because they’re all in the same general area now before smiling at Jack, “You’re just in time! We’ve covered a few things but you’re basically looking at it right now.”

Nolan excuses himself to the kitchen to pour himself a drink as he notices his hands getting a little jittery from the new arrivals and needs something to fidget with.

Jacob sighs as he walks with Carson towards the house and mumbles, “Yeah yeah.. I don’t wanna stay here too long, okay? I don’t mind dipping out early alone as long as you’ll be fine without me.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane sees Nolan and goes to follow him, watching him poor a drink. “Drinking will just help me get you to dance later, you know.” She smiles and goes over to him, “You okay?”

Kai looks at Mei and grins, waving at her. Mei smiles shyly and waves back before holding Sam’s hand again.

Henry smiles a little, “Don’t worry Jack, you’ll be able to see the bathrooms no matter what.”

Carson raises her brows, “You’re not leaving without me. C’mon, lets make our presence known.” She tugs him inside and grins, “We’re here! What an upgrade from the frat house.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase goes and grabs another champagne bottle to pour drinks for the newcomers.

Sam raises his brows at Kai and Mei before shrugging his shoulders.

Jack elbows his side and giggles, “I’m just excited!” She hears Carson and whips her head around, narrowing her eyes a little, “Oh, here we go.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben goes back over to Rose and wraps his arm around her waist, “Gang’s all here.”

Carson smirks as she hears Jack, keeping her arm linked with Jacob’s. “Hi, Jackie, miss me?” She looks at Henry and grins, “Hey, Henrizzle.”

Henry smiles back at her, “Hey, CJ.” He doesn’t even look at Jacob.

💙😳😏 Nolan gets a little startled by Sloane’s voice but laughs it off as he shakes his head, “You’re persistent, I have to say I’m impressed by the commitment.” He tries to sound nonchalant as he shrugs, “I’m fine, I think. Just wanted another drink before things get too crazy is all. Can I get you another?”

Evie looks around for Chase and makes her way over to him, watching him pour the champagne for the others. “Any chance I can talk you into giving one of those to me?”

Jacob stays rooted in place by Carson’s side and tries not to glare at Henry but it happens anyway. He gives Jack a nod of acknowledgment then waves weakly over at Rosen, “Thanks for the invite, you have a cool place from what I can see.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane nods and smiles a little. “I’ll take a drink,” she hesitates, “You can talk to me, you know. About however you’re really feeling. No judgement.”

Ben returns Jacob’s smile, “Thank you for coming.”

Henry ignores Jacob and presses a kiss to Jack’s head.

Carson watches them and looks back up at Jake, “I’m gonna get us drinks.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose leans into his side and smiles, “You finish leading the tour, babe.”

Jack rolls her eyes Carson before giving her brother a small smile and leaning into Henry and whispering to him, “She’s so annoying.”

Chase raises his brows as Evie comes over and nods his head, “Mhm..” He takes her cup and refills it.

💙😳😏 Nolan grabs the nearest bottle and makes Sloane a rum and coke, smiling as he hands it to her, “Oh, uh, thank you. I’m still trying to figure out how I’m feeling lately but, noted.” He takes a sip of his beer and then taps his fingers against it as he speaks, “I love parties, at least I used to. Or I’m supposed to, I guess? Now I sort of feel overwhelmed or unsure in crowds. It doesn’t really make sense to me, but that’s where I’m at right now.”

Evie thanks Chase and grins widely at him, “Can you believe Rose and Ben? It’s crazy to think we all won’t be under the same roof anymore.. Of course I’ll come visit you and you and the others are welcome to come over whenever but I’m just so thrilled to have a place I can call my own!” She squeezes his arm in excitement, “It’s been my dream since I was a little girl to have my own studio space to design in, and now it’s coming true! And look at tonight, us partying and being friendly with Auradon kids! What a dream!”

Jacob scowls at the sight of Henry kissing Jack’s head but brings his hand up to his mouth, pretending to yawn to hide it. Carson’s voices makes him let out a sigh of relief and he nods, “Alcohol, now please.” He lets Carson lead him through the house to grab a drink and frowns before taking a sip of champagne, “First of all, I’ll need something stronger than this. Second of all, why did we come to this again?”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane listens to Nolan, nodding her head so he knows that she's listening to him. She bites her lip as she thinks for a moment, "How about.. when you're starting to feel overwhelmed or unsure in crowds you get me and we can get some fresh air together?" Her hand takes ahold of his free one, "Then this way you have someone to ground you."

Ben looks at Rose and smiles, "Okay, where did we leave off? I forgot already."

Carson makes a face as she listens to Jacob, "You're being such a sourpuss." She grabs vodka, pouring him a mixed drink, "We're here to have fun, so drink up Jakey cause we're not leaving until we've had a good time."

Henry looks down at Jack and raises his brows, "What'd she do?"

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase sips his drink as he listens to her, “It’s very exciting, Evie. I’m happy for you.” He musters up a small smile before looking down at the filled cups of champagne, “Let me get these drinks to the newcomers.”

Rose hums softly and nods, “I was about to head to the dining room.”

Jack shrugs a little and looks up at him, “I mean it’s Carson. She doesn’t have to do anything. All she wants to do is flirt with anyone around me to make me mad. You or my brother.”

💙😳😏 Nolan smiles at Sloane’s suggestion and lets her take his hand in hers before panicking a little and taking his hand back, rubbing it against his leg as he comes up with a lame excuse, “Sorry, sorry. My palms are kind of sweaty right now, it’s gross.” He sips his beer and licks his lips before nodding once more, “But I like the sound of that, I’ll hold you to it.”

Jacob rolls his eyes and sticks his tongue out at Carson but lets her make him a drink and starts taking big sips as soon as she hands it to him. “Fine. I’m way too sober for this shit anyway. Fun and vodka it is.”

Evie beams at Chase obliviously and nods as she speaks up, “Does anyone else need champagne before Ben and Rose keep the tour going?”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane tries not to let her smile fall when he pulls his hand back and she nods, "Oh, it's okay.. And good, I want you to." She sips her rum and coke and looks away from him, her cheeks heating up as she feels slightly embarrassed for holding his hand.

Carson smirks and winks at him, "That's more like it."

Kai sighs softly as he watches Evie and Chase before going over to them, "I'll definitely take another glass." He hums, “You know, Evie. Before you move into your new place how about you let me and Chase make you a big dinner with all your favorites. As a thank you for being the best and to show our love and well wishes.”

Ben laughs softly, "The very exciting dining room is next, so you better be prepared."

Henry looks at Jack and quirks an eyebrow, "She wasn't flirting with me, and your brother likes her so..."

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase looks up as Kai comes over and he rolls his eyes a little, “You guys can do it. I’d rather not celebrate our house being broken apart.” He takes the cups to give to Heck and Samei before walking away quickly. Chase immediately holds them out to the other couples as he joins the tour again.

Rose laughs and shrugs her shoulders, “We should just take them outside through the dining room. It’s perfect out there right now.”

Jack thanks Chase for the drink and sips it quickly before wrinkling her nose, “She’s always flirting with you.”

💙😳😏 Evie starts to get excited over Kai’s suggestion but her face falls as Chase walks away and she frowns at Kai, looking confused, “I don’t.. What was that?”

Nolan is mentally kicking himself for making it awkward and hesitantly reaches out to squeeze Sloane’s arm gently, “Hey, thanks. I mean it. Wanna hop back on the house tour together?”

Jacob chuckles and downs his drink in seconds before setting the cup down, “Another!” He smiles at Carson but makes his own drink this time, holding it up to cheers with her, “To partying with Auradon’s elite.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Kai frowns and puts his hand on Evie’s shoulder, “Umm.. I think he’s really down about you moving out, E. He’s happy for you but is gonna miss you.. We’re losing you and Rose at the same time and I guess he wasn’t expecting it. It might be best if you talk to him and not me..”

Ben grins and opens the doors to the back, “Let’s go outside for a bit everyone.”

Sloane nods and smiles at Nolan, “Sure.”

Mei thanks Chase for the champagne and looks at him and Sam, “I’ve never had this before.”

Henry rolls his eyes and smiles, “She does not.”

Carson grins and clinks her cup against his, “Here here!”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose nods and starts to lead them all to the back.

Sam nods at Chase and chuckles, “Me neither.”

Jack sips her champagne and huffs softly, “Mhmm..regardless I still don’t like her.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Mei grins and clinks her glass against Sam’s, “Cheers.”

Henry shakes his head and laughs, “Stop. Come on, let’s go outside.” He pulls her outside to follow Rosen.

Ben motions around to the deck that has lights all set up and has an amazing view of their big yard, “This is the back.”

💙😳😏 Nolan notices the others heading outside and smiles at Sloane as they start to follow Ben, “Shit, and I thought the frat house had a nice yard, we have nothing on this.”

Evie frowns as she listens to Kai but nods slowly as she thanks him, “I guess I didn’t think about it that way.. But it’s not like I’m moving back to the Isle or somewhere far away! Do you think I should go talk to him now?”

Jacob drinks with Carson and smirks as he watches the others heading outside, “Join the others on a guided tour or going on our own little tour. I don’t know..” He moves his arms up and down in a weighing the options motion with a chuckle.

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane looks around with a grin, “This is gorgeous.” She looks at Nolan and smiles, “And the lighting looks really good on you.”

Kai rubs Evie’s shoulder, “Yeah it’s just different for us, I guess. Go talk to him, I think he’d appreciate it.”

Carson smirks and downs her drink before setting the glass down, “Jacob Pan, I like the way you think.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Sam taps his cup against hers with a grin before taking a sip and humming softly, “Yeah, not bad.”

Jack wrinkles her nose before sighing with a nod as she follows him out. “Well wow, this is amazing.”

Rose smiles out at the backyard and leans into Ben, “This is one of my favorite places of the house.”

💙😳😏 Nolan raises his eyebrows and feels himself blush as he turns his head away slightly to rub his cheek. He chuckles before grinning at Sloane, “I think it uh, looks twice as good on um, you.”

Evie continues to frown at Kai but eventually nods and pulls him into a big hug, “Okay, I’ll pull him aside in a few. Promise me you and I will still be this close even when I move out?”

Jacob smiles before he finishes his drink. He then keeps his head down as he tries to pass by the door to the yard inconspicuously and hopefully unnoticed, knowing Carson is following close behind. He roams aimlessly until they get to the theatre room and he laughs, “This is so excessive.”

Mei laughs and looks at him, “Not a drink of choice.”

Henry looks around and smiles, “This is really nice.”

Kai hugs Evie back and rubs her back, “You’re stuck with me, Evie. We’ll always be this close.”

Ben kisses Rose’s temple and smiles, “Mine too.”

Carson laughs as she looks around, “Wow, a whole movie theater in your house!”

Jack takes Henry’s hand and grins, “I want a backyard like this. But smaller house. This is too big.”

Rose sips her drink and leans into his side, “So far no one is too rowdy, thankfully.”

💙😳😏 Nolan’s head tilts down shyly as he smiles and speaks quietly to her, “Maybe you’ll get that dance after all.”

Evie lets out a sigh of relief, squeezing Kai a little tighter before she nods as she steps back, “Thank you. Now go on, join the others. I’m going to find Chase.”

Jacob rolls his eyes as he looks around and shakes his head, “Oh to be royalty and get to live like this... I wouldn’t even know what to do with this much space.”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane bites her lip to fight an even wider grin as she hears Nolan's soft voice, and she brushes her hand against his before linking their pinkies, "I better."

Kai nods at her reassuringly, "Everything will be okay, I promise." He smiles at her before going over to Rose and Ben, "I don't know if I can watch Evie talk to Chase."

Ben raises his brows and rubs Rose's waist, "He's not happy about her getting her own place?"

Henry looks down at her and smiles, "That sounds nice. Just having a house in general sounds nice."

Mei giggles at Sam and pecks his lips, "You're cute, did you know that?"

Carson hums and runs her fingers over one of the theater chairs, "Think if we stole anything that they'd even notice?"

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose looks up as Kai comes over and sighs softly, “Yeah..I knew he wouldn’t take it well but he’ll get over it with time. I mean he couldn’t expect her to live with you two for the rest of her life.”

Jack smiles and squeezes his hand, “One day. For now we have the crazy frat house and my Cora filled apartment.”

Sam returns the quick kiss then blushes, “You’re cute.”

💙😳😏 Nolan tries to play it cool as Sloane links their pinkies and smiles at her before he takes a few relaxing breaths, hoping Ben doesn’t look over at him and make a big deal about it.

Jacob raises his eyebrows at Carson’s question and chuckles a little, “I guess it depends on what it is. Something small in this big house? I doubt it would be noticed.”

Evie nods at Kai and looks around the group before her eyes land on Chase. She goes up to him and gently taps the back of his shoulder as she speaks softly, “Hey, can I steal you for a sec?”

Carson hums as she looks around, "Not from this room, unless there's a movie you've been dying to get your hands on." Ben listens to Kai and Rose, glancing over at Nolan and Sloane. He sees their pinkies and smiles to himself before turning his attention back to his fiancee and friend. "He'll come around."

Kai nods, "I know, but it's also so close after you moved out, I think it might be a lot of change at once for him."

Mei grins at Sam's blush and squeezes his hand, "I think it's kinda crazy that Ben invited us. Like the soon to be King of Auradon invited us to a private party in his new home."

Henry grimaces at the mention of Cora, "I can't wait til that day."

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase is looking around the backyard when he feels Evie come up. He sighs softly as he looks back at her, “Sure..”

Rose nods with a small frown, “Yeah, I know. But hey maybe it’s a good thing. Maybe Evie will open her eyes to how much Chase is in love with her when he’s not around her all the time.”

Sam shifts to put his arm around her and a chuckle, “I can’t believe it. I mean Ben has been a great role model with Tourney and everything and to be considered a friend...it’s crazy to me.”

Jack giggles and leans up to peck his lips, “Hey you can’t pout about her because you wouldn’t let me pout about Carson.”

💙😳😏 Nolan feels heat rush to his cheeks and swings their hands gently as he speaks, "I still don't know why.. I didn't inherit my mom's gracefulness, that's for sure."

Jacob laughs with a shake of his head, "Definitely not. If we spot any books, you know that's more my speed."

Evie frowns as she puts a hand around his wrist loosely and guides him further into the yard away from the rest of the group, letting go as she puts her arms over her chest. "So.. something's off with you. And I can't help but think that I did something wrong."

Carson makes a face and rolls her eyes playfully before leading him out of the home theater. "We're not stealing a book, nerd," she teases.

Ben half smiles and rubs her waist, "We know how close you all are, but... Evie being the only girl in that house probably wouldn't have been the best."

Kai nods his head, "I agree. It's best that she's moving out on a happy note rather than she felt like she had to because she was living with us without Rose."

Mei looks at Sam and raises her brows, "That means we'll probably get invited to the wedding."

Henry sighs and looks at her, "I'm not pouting, I'm just saying being away from her as much as possible would be the best."

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase lets her pull him away and shoves his hands in his pockets while she talks. He tries to play it cool and shrugs his shoulders, “There’s nothing wrong. I’m just looking around the house and trying to enjoy the party. Now are we done?”

Rose sips her drink and nods in agreement with them both, “Yeah, she would’ve felt guilty and never left herself.” She looks over at Evie and Chase, “It doesn’t look like it’s going too hot.” Sam widens his eyes slightly and laughs, “Wow..yeah I guess you’re right. I didn’t even think about that.”

Jack hums and leans up to nudge her nose against his, “And I feel the same way about your ex hook up thing whatever.”

💙😳😏 Nolan shrugs as he answers simply, "No, I honestly don't. Wish I had some mind reading abilities but I've got nothing."

Jacob bumps his arm against her as he follows her out of the theater, "Knock it off. If you're so smart, what souvenir should we snag then, hm?"

Evie's eyes widen at Chase's reaction and she gently holds a hand out to stop him, speaking gently, "I'm... I'm sorry? Who am I talking to right now? No, we are not done here, not even close."

Carson smirks mischievously at him, "Something worth money."

Ben frowns as he watches them in the distance, "It's Evie, she can turn it around."

Kai turns to watch too and bites his lip, "Yeah, he'll soften up."

Mei grins excitedly, "That would be insane."

Henry rolls his eyes, "Friend, the word you're looking for is friend."

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase raises his brows at her and laughs, “What more is there to talk about, E? You are moving out.” He shrugs slightly, “Rose is already moved out so yeah that’s that.”

Rose leans into Ben and nods her head before looking at Kai, “You’ll take care of him though, right? He’s going to be heart broken for a bit. Even if he tries to hide it.”

Sam chuckles and squeezes her shoulder, “What would I even wear? I’ve never been to a wedding.”

Jack laughs and kisses him gently, “Cora is my friend. And roommate.”

💙😳😏 Nolan blinks, stunned by her answer as he laughs a little nervously, "Oh. Understood." He rubs his forehead with his free hand and half smiles at her, "I'm sorry, I'm not good at this. But I'm trying."

Jacob hums as he looks at her and then at their surroundings, teasing her back, "You're a bad influence. Besides, I'm certain they would notice the lack of something valuable the moment it was gone."

Evie frowns at him and shakes her head, "But you didn't act like this when Rose moved out. What's different?"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane nods her head and smiles, "Don't apologize. But I mean, don't feel obligated to try so you don't hurt my feelings or anything. Only try if it's something you want to do."

Carson pouts and sighs, "Fine. What do I get in return for behaving?"

Kai gives Rose a knowing look, "Of course I will, Rose. He's my brother."

Mei grins, "A tuxedo. You'll look very handsome in one."

Henry kisses her again, "Can we stop talking about her now?"

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase sighs in frustration and throws his hands up, “Well maybe that’s because...” He trails off and shakes his head, “You’re reading too much into it. I’m not acting any way.”

Rose nods and laughs softly, “I know, I know. Just worry about him. You and Evie are strong, he’s a little more..sensitive.”

Sam grins at her as his cheeks flush, “You think so?”

Jack hums softly and shrugs, “Fiiine. But I’m allowed to complain about Carson.”

💙😳😏 Nolan subtly takes a deep breath and nods as he unlinks their pinkies to tentatively hold her hand, "It uh, is something I want to do. Except I need time, I know you get that."

Jacob grins at her as he tilts his head, "What do you want in return?"

Evie takes a step back from him as she gives him a concerned look, "Chase.. come on.. It's me. What's going on?"

Carson hums and shrugs, "Dunno, but it's gotta be worth a lot. I was gonna bet a nice, pricy item in one of my games this weekend." She grins a little.

Ben watches Evie and Chase, "Should we have warned Chase ahead of time?"

Kai shakes his head, "No, because it would've ruined the surprise for E."

Mei grins and squeezes his hand, "I'm positive. What do you think you'll wear to the tourney banquet?"

Henry groans, "Noooo, I wasn't even complaining!"

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase groans and leans his head back, “Nothing. Nothing is going on!” He shakes his head, “It’s the same as it’s always been. You are moving on and I’m staying right where I always am. So can we just end this conversation?”

Rose bites her lip gently as she watches them, “When do we step in?”

Sam smiles at her and shakes his head, “No idea, I need your help.”

Jack giggles and shrugs one shoulder, “That’s the deal going forward. One complaint about Cora is one about Carson.”

💙😳😏 Nolan freezes in shock as he feels all of the blood in his face rush to his cheeks but feels a smile grow at Sloane, "Patient is good. I can't promise you much... but I can promise I'm trying, I hope that's enough for you right now."

Jacob chuckles as the walk down the hall, "Always about the next game with you. How about something only fancy looking? Will the guys you play with know any better?"

Evie recoils at his words but shakes her head, standing her ground, "No, we can't. I've never seen you like this and I'm worried. Maybe I am reading into it too much but I can tell something is upsetting you and if I have anything to do with it at all, I won't be able to live with that."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles at him fondly and nods, "It is." She leans her chin on his shoulder, "It's more than enough."

Carson hums and nods, "I just have to take a picture to prove it's in Prince Ben's house, and they'll think it's a family heirloom from King whoever."

Kai frowns as he hears Chase's voice raise, "Um, well, now seems like a good time to start going over."

Mei smiles and nods, "I can do that. Maybe Henry could even lend you something."

Henry sighs, "Get it out now."

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase laughs bitterly and shakes his head, “You know maybe it should be telling that you’ve never seen me like yet everyone else has. Maybe there’s something glaringly obvious that you just won’t open your eyes to.” He shakes his head, “I’m done with this conversation. It’s for the best it ends right now.”

Rose pulls away from Ben slightly, “Okay, lets go. I take Evie. You two take Chase.”

Sam nods with a smile as he finishes his champagne, “Yeah..maybe. He is in a frat after all. I’m sure he has stuff.”

Jack laughs and holds her pinky up, “No, we can start from now. I’ll let go the last one.”

💙😳😏 Nolan stands there letting Sloane rest her head on his shoulder, and he lightly rests his head on top of hers for a moment, thinking out loud mostly to himself, "You make me feel calm. I don't have that with many people other than Ben."

Jacob laughs, "Right, so we need something that looks old school and castle-esque. Do you think they have a dungeon with hidden treasure?"

Evie feels her eyes well up with tears as she gets frustrated and raises her voice to match his, "Why won't you just tell me what's wrong? Whatever I did, I'm sorry! I take back every thing I've done to get you to this point because I see you're hurting. I can't fix this if you won't talk!" Her voice breaks on the last word and she looks away from him as she frowns.

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane feels her cheeks heat up and she smiles to herself before replying softly, "I'm happy that I can do that for you..." She gives his hand a gentle squeeze.

Carson smirks, "I think that if they have a dungeon, it's not being used for hidden treasures." She wiggles her eyebrows at him and then goes to look around for some items in the living room.

Kai's eyes widen and he grabs Rose's hand, running over to Evie and Chase just as Evie finishes her response to Chase, though they overheard the both of them. Ben is right behind them and Kai places a hand on Chase's chest, standing between them and looking at Evie. "E, let's just give Chase a second to cool off, yeah?" He nods at Rose and then starts to move Chase away from the girls, "Dude, that is not how we talk to the people we love." Ben looks at Rose to make sure she's okay with Evie before walking with Kai and Chase.

Mei nods and smiles, "That'll be a lot easier." She raises her brows as she sees Kai, Rose, and Ben running, "Uh ohh..."

Henry smiles and hooks his pinky with hers, "Thank you."

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose moves her hand onto Evie’s arm as she watches the boys walk away. “You okay?”

Chase rolls his eyes as the others step in and lets them pull him away. “Seriously? I’m fine. She doesn’t get it and she never will. I could say so many worse things but I wouldn’t do that to her. I don’t want to hurt her but I just wanted to not talk and she won’t listen. I need another drink, not any more damn conversations about Evie.”

Sam watches the others and raises his brows, “Wanna avoid the drama and get something more us to drink?”

Jack squeezes his pinky with hers before leaning up to kiss him.

💙😳😏 Nolan feels Sloane squeeze his hand and blinks out of his daze, standing up a little straighter but still holding her hand, he notices the commotion between Evie and Chase and wrinkles his nose before given Sloane a concerned look, "Um, do you need to go over there at all? I know she's your friend."

Jacob agrees with her as he chuckles and makes a beeline straight for the bookcase, gently running a finger along the spines of the books as he leaves Carson to her search, "God, I wish I could do magic. This is a sick collection."

Evie swipes a finger underneath her eye to catch any stray tear that might have fallen and exhales as she fidgets with fixing her hair, looking at Rose sadly, "No, no I'm not. He's upset and won't talk to me."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane follows his gaze and frowns, "Rose will be best suited for this one, I think. I don't want to overwhelm Evie with making her explain or anything."

Carson laughs as she looks around, "Be careful, one of them might open up and bite at your finger."

Ben moves his hand to Chase's shoulder, "Hey, you're not fine. And that's okay, you're upset that she's moving out, that's okay. What's not okay, is you raising your voice at her and trying to make her feel bad for not knowing what's going on. Talking to her like that, isn't going to make her see. It's going to scare her and upset her." Kai frowns, "She just wanted to make you feel better, Chase. She feels guilty about being happy and leaving us. Just because the four of us aren't gonna be living with each other doesn't mean we're gonna lose our closeness."

Mei nods her head quickly, "Yes, please."

Henry smiles and kisses her back.

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose wraps her arm around her and pulls her into a hug, “I know. Just give him time. He’s upset about you moving out.”

Chase shakes his head and pulls away from the guys, “I’m fine! Why does everything think I need to be coddled? She can be happy, you think I don’t want her to be happy? All I fucking do is watch her be happy.” Chase holds his hands up and shakes his head, “I can’t do this with all you around. Can I leave?”

Sam leads her inside and into the kitchen, dropping his arm.

Jack grins and pulls back before looking at the rest of the party, “Seems like there’s a lot of tension here.”

💙😳😏 Nolan watches the other group break apart and then nods at Sloane's answer, "Okay, I did my part and asked." He chuckles before taking a small step back to look at her, "Are you still doing okay? You aren't cold? Do you need something else to drink?"

Jacob rolls his eyes playfully as he pulls out a book titled The History of Magic and starts thumbing through the pages, "Do you know who my dad is? I can spot a booby trap from miles away."

Evie hugs Rose tightly and frowns, "Then why wasn't he like this when you moved out? I understand he's protective of me and I love that about him, but I am capable of taking care of myself! Sure, I might act like a damsel in distress sometimes but you know I'm fine on my own."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles at Nolan, biting her lip as she listens to him, thinking about how much she wants to kiss him but how she won't because she respects his boundaries. "I'm still doing okay, but we can head inside to give everyone out here some privacy. You're keeping me warm, and I think I would like another drink."

Carson laughs, "Not a booby trap, a magic trap. But I do like it when you say booby trap." She takes a picture of some candlesticks, "Jacob, what about these?"

Kai frowns at him, "We-we're not coddling you, Chase. We're worried because you're clearly upset but keep insisting you're fine, when we all know if you were fine, you wouldn't have talked to Evie that way or keep trying to push everyone away. We're family, Chase, you're really gonna walk away because you're upset when I'm right here. I'm right here for you to talk to."

Ben steps back a little to give them some privacy.

Mei smiles, "Would it be rude to eat without them?"

Henry nods his head, "There certainly is, let's head inside."

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose rubs her back and sighs softly, “Evie..he isn’t just protective over you.” She pulls back and looks at her, “You know that. You have to see it after all this time. It’s more than that.”

Chase shakes his head and sighs, “Fine Am I upset? Yes. But I don’t want to talk about it. I’m going to be okay. I always am.” He rubs his forehead and shrugs, “I need my space guys. Please? I know I raised my voice at her and I’m sorry but I just want to be alone.”

Sam shrugs and looks around, “I think we may be okay. It looks more like it’s snacking.”

Jack takes his hand and starts to lead him inside, “Oh look it’s Mei and Sam at least.”

💙😳😏 Nolan smiles as he listens and starts to lead Sloane inside, still holding onto her hand as he makes eye contact with Ben. When Ben sees him, he makes sure Sloane isn't looking before mouthing oh my god at his best friend. Once they get back inside, he notices they aren't the only ones who have thought to bring the party indoors and lets go of her hand to bring out his phone, "Hey, you fix yourself a drink, I'm going to put on my new playlist, okay?"

Jacob chuckles and repeats the word booby like a child before putting the book back and looking over in Carson's direction, "Oh those are perfect! They look practically medieval. Passable as a family heirloom if I do say so myself."

Evie blinks at Rose as she shakes her head in confusion, "What? No, absolutely not. You mean something more than friendship? He's.. he.." She continues to shake her head as her eyes sort of glaze over and various memories flood her mind all at once. Feeling overwhelmed, she reaches out for Rose's arm to ground herself and whispers, "Are you telling me Chase has romantic feelings for me?"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben looks around, not wanting to invade Kai and Chase's privacy. He makes eye contact with Nolan, who he sees holding hands with Sloane and he grins as his best friend mouths to him. He gives him a thumbs up and laughs to himself, shaking his head.

Sloane nods and smiles, "Okay, sounds good." She pecks his cheek before going to make herself a drink.

Carson grins and slips them into her purse quickly as she hears people in the kitchen, "Already now let's go pretend like we were not just stealing." She grabs his hand and pulls him to the kitchen.

Kai frowns at him and backs off, "Okay..."

Mei starts to fix herself a plate of snacks and smiles at him.

Henry laughs, "What does that mean?" He goes over to his brother and puts his arm around his shoulder, "Hi, Sammy."

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose bites her lower lip and shrugs a little, “It’s not my place to say anything, E. But just...give him some time.”

Chase sighs softly and nods, “Thank you.” He looks over at Ben, “Tell Rose that I love the place. Thanks for having me. I just don’t wanna cause any more drama being here so I’m heading out.” He gives both of them a weak smile before going in the house to head out.

Sam does the same and grins as he feels Henry’s arm, “Hey guys, having fun?”

💙😳😏 Nolan rubs his cheek where Sloane kissed with a grin. He connects his phone to the bluetooth speaker and shuffles his newest playlist starting with an upbeat song he hopes everyone likes. Once the song starts he smiles and heads back over to Sloane, "I think I need a beer. What are you having now?"

Jacob laughs with Carson as she pulls him into the kitchen just as Nolan starts his music. Jacob grins, nodding along with the beat before tightening his hold on Carson's hand and twirling her once. "Alright, now I'm having fun."

Evie starts to breathe unevenly as she looks back and forth between Rose and the guys, "I can't! I feel horrible if that's the case. He was there for me 24/7 throughout the whole Kit saga. I told him everything just like I told you!" Evie hides her face in her hands as she shakes her head, "Why didn't I see this, Rose?"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane sways her hips to the beat of the music and then smiles at Nolan when he comes back, "Vodka cranberry, want a sip?"

Carson squeals and laughs happily as she faces him again, "Very suave, Pan!"

Kai frowns and Ben holds his arm out to him. He half smiles and moves into Ben's side as they walk over to the girls tentatively.

Henry smiles, "We are having fun, are you?" Mei grins shyly at Jack, "We're just happy to be here."

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose shakes her head and rubs her shoulders, “He’s pretty good at hiding his feelings, E.” She looks over as the boys head back, “Hey..”

Sam nods as he pops a chips in his mouth and smiles, “Yeah, this place is amazing.”

Jack grins at them and nods her head, “Wanna help me make drinks, Mei?”

💙😳😏 Nolan raises his eyebrows at Sloane's offer but takes the drink from her hand and has a small sip before making a bit of a face with a laugh, "It's good, really sweet though." He grins before finding a beer for himself and leaning back against the counter and looking at her curiously, "Favorite thing to do in Auradon: go!"

Jacob does a half bow as he laughs and sort of nods along to the beat of the music, "I do what I can." He looks over at the others inside and rolls his eyes at Henrizzle, "Not the best company, though. I wish I knew what my sister sees in that guy."

"Yeah but it's us, Rose. I always know if something's up with you or Kai. I feel like a fool.." She looks up as Kai and Ben approach without Chase and she starts to look around the yard frantically, "Where is he?!"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane brows raise and she tries to think quickly, stuttering a little, "Uh uh, oh! Does flying around on my pegasus count? I feel like it might not."

Carson bites her lip to fight a smirk and she looks at Jacob, "I mean, if you really wanna know I can tell you what she sees in him, but you wouldn't like it."

Kai's eyes widen, "He said he wanted to be alone and leave, he's headed out through the house."

Ben goes to Rose's side and puts his arm around her, "There's still time to get him if you want to, Evie."

Henry laughs, "It is something."

Mei smiles at Jack, "Sure."

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose leans into Ben’s side and sighs softly, “Just be aware, E. He isn’t in the best state right now and he might say things he doesn’t mean just to keep his walls up.”

Sam raises his brows at Henry, “What do you mean? It’s..more than I could ever dream of.”

Jack grins and takes her arm to lead her to the drinks.

💙😳😏 Nolan sips his beer as he narrows his eyes, pretending to think it over, "Hmm.. I think I'll allow it. The rules were vague."

Jacob gives Carson a look and takes her hand before twirling her once more, "No thank you. I'm happy in my bitter world, don't need no sunshine at my rainy parade."

Evie nods as she listens to all three of them and fondly thanks them before running back inside and through the house. She scans the faces inside and doesn't notice Chase so she heads for the front and once she's outside again she calls out to him, "Wait!"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles, "Then yeah, I love taking Arcalix out. He's the best."

Carson grins and raises her brows, "Keep up the twirling and eventually you'll get your sister mad at me and then he'll get mad at her."

Kai watches her with wide eyes, "She's doing it." Ben nods, "She is a force to be reckoned with."

Henry laughs and nods, "I know, it's honestly a house I didn't even know could exist."

Mei follows Jack, "What are we making?"

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase raises his brows as he hears her voice. He sighs softly, “I’m sorry about raising my voice but we please just talk later at home. I just am not in a good mood right now.”

Rose watches her and bites her lip, “Damn..I’m not sure I should’ve said anything. I feel like this could go terribly.”

Sam nods with a grin and holds up his plate of food, “Want some? On top of everything they have great snacks.”

Jack narrows her eyes as she sees her brother and Carson again before shaking her head, “Hmm lets see maybe some vodka and sparkling water?”

💙😳😏 Nolan grins, "I haven't seen a pegasus in person since I was really little, at one of those community events. I know they've been around and stuff like that, but that was the last time I got to actually see one up close. My mom let me feed it a treat."

Jacob steps a little closer to her but groans slightly, "I don't want to upset my sister if I don't have to. The only thing she's done wrong here is have shitty taste. No offense."

Evie approaches him quickly before he can run off and keeps her voice quiet but firm, "Then let's go home. Right now. I'm here and I'm listening and I see you."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles at him, "I mean, we can always change that if you want. He's very friendly and loves sugar cubes."

Carson brings one arm around his neck and laughs, "Oh, none taken!"

Kai shrugs his shoulders, "We've done all we can do, the rest is up to them." Ben looks at Rose, "He's right."

Henry takes a snack and smiles, "Thank you. You and Mei look like you're having fun."

Mei follows Jack's gaze, "Are you okay?"

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase furrows his brows at her and shakes his head, “What? Evie, please I just want to be alone right now. I’m happy for you, okay? I just wasn’t prepared to lose you tonight. That’s all.”

Rose sighs and hugs Ben close, “I know. I hope they aren’t too hurt.”

Sam smiles with a nod as his cheeks heat up slightly, “Yeah..I like her a lot.”

Jack wrinkles her nose and nods, “Yeah..I just can’t stand that girl. She always is flirting with Henry and now she’s trying to get with my brother. It’s like she wants to piss me off.”

💙😳😏 Nolan smiles excitedly as he nods, "Yeah? I'd really like that. If it's not too much trouble, of course."

Jacob chuckles with her, "Noted. Although the twirling is pretty cool isn't it? It's not our fault if it irritates others."

Evie frowns at him and reaches out to touch him but pulls her hand back at the last second, instead she bites down on her lip to stop it from trembling, "You aren't losing me, Chase. I haven't gone anywhere. I don't have to go anywhere if it makes you uncomfortable. I can stay.. I'd be happy to stay with you and Kai."

Carson smiles widely at him, "I am a big fan of the twirling. Should we add some dancing to that twirling?"

Ben hugs her back and kisses her head, "Me too." Kai bites his lip, "Can we go back in?"

Henry smiles as he sees his brother's blush, "I'm happy you're happy. You deserve it."

Mei raises her brows and looks at them then back at Jack, "Doesn't your brother hate Henry?"

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase frowns and shakes his head, “No, no. Stop that. I’m not taking this away from you, Evie. You deserve the house and I want you to have it. I just need to..get over it.”

Rose nods with a small smile as she starts to lead them back inside.

Sam smiles at him and nods, “So do you. Jack is great, you know. She’s crazy but..in a good way.”

Jacob laughs as he starts to sway a little along to the music but shakes his head, "I'm sort of a horrible dancer, you know. It's fun but not pretty to look at." Evie gets her breathing under control as he speaks and looks at him a little nervously, "Or you could tell me what's really been going on all this time and we can talk about it together."

Henry laughs and shrugs innocently, "That's not wrong."

Mei makes a drink too, "Well, it's not a villain thing."

Rose raises her brows, “What?”

💙😳😏 "Likewise." Nolan shakes her hand and holds onto it for a few seconds longer as he grins widely at her like a doof.

Jacob dances with her and shrugs, "Call it a mild curse. Exile or no rhythm, pick your poison I guess."

Evie's gaze softens as she looks at him and shrugs her shoulder at him, "I'm talking about you and me."

Carson tilts her head back as she laughs before twirling him under her arm.

Henry laughs, "Both. So is Mei officially your girlfriend?"

Mei smiles, "Better start now then."

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase takes a shaky breath and rubs his forehead, “I know moving out won’t change anything. We’re all going to still be friends. Is that it?”

Rose shrugs with a small laugh, “At least that drama we can just watch.”

Sam shakes his head and looks down at his plate, “No, we are just..hanging out. Still trying to figure out how just dating works from being friends.”

Jack laughs and nods as she sips her drink, “Exactly.”

💙😳😏 Nolan squeezes his eyes shut for a moment as he pretends to pull back but quickly nods with a laugh, "Ah what the hell! If I don't now I never will."

Jacob lets out a genuine hearty laugh as he spins then pulls Carson in a little closer as they dance, "I can't believe we're at The Ben's place right now and I'm actually having a good time. There's gotta be some sort of spell on this place, right?"

Jacob puts a hand on her waist as he chuckles, "Damn it, I didn't want to have to admit it and then give you an opportunity to say I told you so, but here we are."

Evie frowns as she tries to explain, "I don't understand either. But I'm trying.. What I do know, or at least what I've realized is that I might have been taking you for granted and been unfair to you. I just wish you would open up a little so I could get the full picture.."

Sam eats more and nods his head, “Yeah, I do.”

Jack grins and nods her head, “I’ll give that to Henry. Try one of the hard seltzers. Those are basically sparkling water only.”

Mei laughs and nods, “Okay.” She hands Jack the drink she made and then gets a seltzer for herself and Sam.

Evie lets out a shaky breath and stays silent for a few moments before whispering, “That you care about me as more than a friend.”

Carson hums and takes his hand to spin herself out and then back into his chest, “Cause I’m funny and hot.”

Henry grins and taps his brother’s cheek fondly. Mei goes over to the boys with Jack and she smiles at Sam and holds out the seltzer to him, “Jack recommended these for us.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase closes his eyes and turns his head away from her as he rubs the back of his neck nervously, “Fuck..” He takes a couple deep breaths as he tries to think of what to say. Finally he shakes his head, “I mean I used to. I’m fine now. We are friends. That’s it.”

Rose smiles and shrugs one shoulder, “Thats why you’re going to be a great king, Benny.”

Sam wrinkles his nose at his brother before smiling at Mei. “Oh great. Thanks Jack.” He takes the drink.

Jack nods with a smile and holds out a drink for Henry, “For you, babe.”

Jacob rolls his eyes playfully and nods, "Yeah, yeah, you've got me there. You're sort of fun to be around, whatever."

Evie stares at him as he speaks and gives him a small shake of her head, "I don't believe that's it. Look at us right now! I'm saying this because I care about you, and you don't seem fine right now."

Jack grins with a nod and sips her drink, “Can we dance at some point, Henry?”

Jack grins and takes his free hand before pulling him away from the kitchen, glaring at Carson and her brother as she does.

Jacob chuckles, "It's been known to happen from time to time." He follows Carson and hums as he thinks, "Something strong. Is there any whiskey?"

Evie looks at him for a moment before slowly nodding at him, "Okay, then that's what we'll do. Come on.."

Kai's eyes widen and he looks around innocently, smiling as he makes eye contact with Mei but then looking back at Rose, "I don't need a match maker."

Ben raises his brows and laughs, "What was that then?"

Mei laughs, "Yeah, definitely will not be attempting that again."

Henry smiles at Carson but ignores Jacob as he follows Jack, spinning her towards him once they're near where Sloane and Nolan are dancing.

Evie follows close behind him as they head back inside, quickly sending Rose a text: We're on our way back in and it's a little awkward.. pls try to act normal

Carson rolls her eyes, "Weak." She makes him a whiskey and coke, purposefully not using jack out of principle before holding it out to him.

Kai's ears turn red, "Stop. She's seeing someone and doesn't like me like that." Ben hums softly, "Well, are they exclusive?" Kai tries not to blush more, "It doesn't matter."

Mei smiles up at Sam, "I usually just hold one for the whole night."

Henry shrugs and grins, "I don't know what you're talking about."

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase leads her inside and starts back towards the main party. He narrows his eyes a little as he spots Rose and Kai.

Rose feels her phone buzz and reads the text, she quickly reads it for Ben and Kai before feeling eyes on her. “Shit..he’s going to be so mad.”

Sam puts his arm around Mei and laughs, “Me too actually. That’s why we get along so well.”

Jack smirks and shakes her head at him, “Mhm..sure you don’t.” She sips her drink and sways with him.

Evie enters the house with Chase and bites her lip as she looks around, grinning a little at Sloane and Nolan before facing Rose and Ben and Kai, faking some enthusiasm, "Hey everyone.. we're back!"

Kai's eyes widen at the text, "I'm innocent, and I'm definitely gonna get beat up tonight."

Ben looks up and sees Evie and Chase, noticing Chase's narrowed eyes at Rose and Kai, "No you're not." He grins and waves Evie and Chase over, "Hey, welcome back! Oh, Chase, I have got to show you home gym. Come with me," he nods for Chase to follow and starts to lead him out of the kitchen.

Mei grins widely and leans into Sam, "Cause we pretend to drink beer?"

Henry laughs as he wraps his arms around her and dances.

Evie watches Ben and Chase go off together and sighs as she leans into Rose and holds a hand out for Kai, "Yes, please.. I need it."

Ben brings Chase to the home gym and bites his lip, "Don't be mad at Rose and Kai... It was me.. I told Evie to go after you, I told her everything because I'm a hopeless romantic and I just.. you two deserve each other and happiness. I'm sorry, it wasn't my place."

Mei grins widely and leans into him more.

Henry rolls his eyes, twirling her, "You're bossy."

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose nods with a soft sigh as she leads them over to grab some more drinks, “What happened?” Chase crosses his arms and looks at Ben skeptically, “Why should I believe that? How did she know about my feelings for her when I only left you guys a couple moments before huh? Rose said something, I know she did.”

Sam grins down at her and sips his drink before watching the party, “Very interesting dynamics going on here.”

Jack laughs as she twirls around and leans into him again, “You know that already.”

💙😳😏 Nolan smiles as she dances closer and hums along to the beat, trying his best to stay calm.

Jacob takes another long sip from his drink then clears his throat, "Alright, what's our plan of action here.. I'm not very good at causing disturbances."

Evie frowns as she looks at the various bottles of alcohol then shrugs at the two of them, "Nothing, really.. I tried to get him to talk about how he felt but that's just it. He said he apparently had feelings for me before at some point but not anymore. So I don't know why he acted like that earlier tonight. I'm so confused.."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles as she hears him hum and keeps moving to the music. After a moment, her shoulder tics and she quickly moves back from Nolan, moving her hand to her shoulder. "I'm sorry, you didn't do anything-" Her shoulder tics again, her voice getting cut off from it. Her entire face turns beat red, "Please excuse me." She rushes out to go back outside, wanting to die from starting to go into a ticking fit in front of Nolan.

Carson grins, "It won't take much. We can just dance again." She wiggles her brows at him.

Kai frowns at Evie, "His guard is up really high tonight, take everything he says with a grain of salt."

Ben looks at Chase, "I just blurted it out, said that you're upset because you have feelings for her and that she should go after you. And she did, even though Rose told her it might be best to give you space."

Mei laughs, "It's kind of overwhelming."

Henry nods and smirks down at her, "sure did."

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose rubs her back and sighs softly, “I’m sorry E. He’s just probably hurting. He’ll talk to you when he’s ready.”

Chase narrows his eyes at Ben and shakes his head, “Why would you even think that’s okay? It’s my business. Besides I’m over her, I’ve been over her.”

Sam nods and squeezes her shoulder, “Wanna go outside and look at the backyard again?”

Jack grins at him and kisses him quickly, “You love it.”

💙😳😏 Nolan blinks in surprise at Sloane's sudden jerk back from him. He opens his mouth to ask if she's okay but before he can she's running towards the backyard and he's standing there alone and confused. Looking around for Ben, he can't spot him and starts to breathe a little unevenly, feeling uncomfortable. "Uh.." He wants to go after Sloane but rushes to the nearest bathroom and locks himself inside, closing his eyes as he sits on the floor to breathe.

Jacob raises his eyebrows at Carson and looks back at where people were dancing and he chuckles, "Now would be a perfect opportunity, a spot next to them just opened up."

Evie looks at them sadly, "All I know is I don't want him to be hurting, especially not because of me."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane goes outside to the patio, repeatedly whispering the word 'stop' to herself as she goes into a full fit, her shoulder and neck ticking uncontrollably and she feels tears fill her eyes out of embarrassment.

Carson grins and takes another shot, "Down your drink, we're going."

Kai rubs Evie's shoulder, "You didn't do anything, E. You're allowed to be happy."

Ben looks at Chase and shakes his head, "I know it wasn't okay. It was heat of the moment, and that's not an excuse. I'm sorry, I really am. Evie needed to see things as they were, and you were so hurt, she needed to know why... Chase, you don't have to lie to me about being over her. I get it, truly, but now it's out there and you owe her the truth. Because if you were over her, then you wouldn't have reacted that way, we both know it."

Mei shakes her head and smiles, "No, I'm okay in here with you."

Henry rolls his eyes again and grins before kissing her.

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose nods in agreement, “He’s right. I know he’s our best friend but he’ll deal with his emotions on his own time.”

Chase crosses his arms and shakes his head, “Can’t I just be sad about my best friend leaving? All of you need to stop thinking you know how I’m feeling. And if I’m feeling how you all think I am, I will tell her on my own terms and in my own time. It’s not your right to say anything. So butt out.”

Sam grins down at her and kisses her gently.

Jack laughs and returns the kiss as she sways a little more to the music.

💙😳😏 Nolan squeezes his eyes shut a little harder as he does his deep breathing exercises. He whimpers softly as he tries to take out his phone to text Ben but his hands are shaking too much. Balling them into fists, he brings his knees into his chest to ride out the anxiety. "Damn it.."

"Yes ma'am!" Jacob complies and downs the rest of his drink but gags on it slightly at the sight of Jack and Henry kissing, "Absolutely disgusting."

Evie frowns a little as she takes an almost empty bottle of champagne and drinks straight from it, "I don't feel much like celebrating at the moment but this stuff is really good." She takes another sip and sighs, "Oh Rose, I'm sorry, I don't mean to be a downer right now.. I promise I am having a good time."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane feels her tics starting to wind down and she sighs heavily, clenching her fist of her unaffected arm so tight that it causes a crack of lightning in the sky.

Carson laughs loudly at his reaction and she smirks, "Watch this." She stands in front of Jacob, hooks her fingers into the belt loops of his pants before pulling him over to Henry and Jack by them. She turns so her back so to him and takes his hands, immediately placing them on her hips before she starts to dance.

Kai rubs Evie's shoulder, "E, don't let this ruin your night. I'm sorry I pushed you to talk to him..." His trail to Sam and Mei and he quickly looks away.

Ben nods his head, "You're absolutely right. I'm sorry."

Mei smiles widely as she returns the kiss.

Henry pulls back and grins down at her.

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose shakes her head, “It’s okay. Yeah, lets just try to move past it for tonight.”

Chase drops his arms and softens his stare, “Thank you.”

Sam grins against her lips and pulls back slightly.

Jack grins back at him until she sees Carson out of the corner of her eye, “Ugh..” She rolls her eyes and looks back at Henry.

💙😳😏 Nolan lets out a few deep breaths and feels his hands start to steady so he quickly brings out his phone and sends Ben a text: Bathroom on main floor 911

Jacob chuckles as he holds Carson close to him and they dance near Jack and Henry. He hums along to the music and taps his fingers against Carson's hips.

Evie waves Kai's apology off as she takes a big swig from the bottle and tries to put on a smile, "It's all good guys. Consider the night not ruined. Do you think everything's okay between Ben and Chase?"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Carson grins as she feels Jacob's fingers and she moves her hand to rest on the back of his neck, moving her hips to the beat with his.

Kai bites his lip, "Well, Rose and I are still alive so it's looking pretty good."

Ben nods his head and furrows his brows as his phone vibrates. He sees Nolan's texts and his eyes widen, "Go back and enjoy the rest of your night, Chase. I am sorry. Sorry, excuse me, there's an emergency." He's not even done finishing his last sentence as he starts to run out and down the hall to the bathroom to get to Nolan. He tries the doorknob but it's locked and he speaks softly through the door, "Nol, it's me, can you let me in?"

Mei giggles and grins up at him, "You're sweet."

Henry looks at her, "Ignore them." He twirls Jack again.

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose grabs another bottle of champagne for her as she shrugs, “Yeah, I can’t believe he whisked him away like that.”

Chas raises his brows and nods his head as Ben goes out the door. He furrows his brows and takes his time leaving gym, trying to relax for a moment before returning to the party.

Sam smiles and shrugs one shoulder, “I’m just being myself.”

Jack laughs as he twirls her and she wraps her arms around his neck as she comes back to him, “I’m trying.”

Evie giggles a little at the two of them, "I'm sure it'll all be okay. It has to be, right?"

Jacob continues to dance with Carson and smiles to himself but it fades and turns into more of a hardened look as he notices Henry and Jack.

He frowns puts his hand on his shoulder, "Breathe with me, okay? In.." He slowly breathes in deeply, "out," he slowly breathes out and tries to get Nolan to copy him.

Carson turns her head to look up at him, "We might have to kick it up a notch."

Kai sees Chase and smiles as he waves at him.

Mei nods and grins, "I know. And you're very sweet."

Henry nods and continues to dance with her, rubbing her back.

Rose nods at her and smiles, “It will be.” She holds out the champagne to her before looking up, “Oh hey..want a drink?”

Sam grins widely and kisses her gently.

Jack dances closer to him and smiles wider.

💙😳😏 Nolan gives Ben a pained look and grabs onto his hand on his shoulder to ground himself and tries to copy Ben's breathing. He tries to get a few words out between ragged breaths, "Everything.. was fine.. and then.. it wasn't?"

Evie smiles at Chase and tries to make eye contact with him as she waves a little, "Where's Ben?"

Jacob bites down on his lip as he looks at her and nods, "Okay, yeah. I'll follow your lead."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben frowns and keeps going with their controlled breathing, speaking between breaths, "What do you mean?"

Carson looks up at him and nods, "Alright, but don't read anything into this okay?" She slides her hand that's on his neck onto the back of his head and draws his face to hers as she kisses him deeply.

Mei smiles against his lips as she returns the kiss.

Henry takes Jack's hand and spins her out, accidentally doing it at the exact moment that Carson and Jacob kiss.

Rose furrows her brows and looks around a bit, “I don’t see Nolan so they may be together.”

Sam hums softly against her lips and pulls back slightly.

She grins as he spins her out before spotting them kissing and her jaw drops.

💙😳😏 Nolan works on slowing his breathing with Ben before a few more minutes before letting out a huge deep breath. Holding on to Ben's arm, he continues to shake a little as he whispers, "Something's wrong with Sloane, I need to check on her."

Jacob raises his eyebrows in confusion and then surprise as Carson kisses him but he leans into the kiss, smiling against her lips.

Evie frowns as she looks at the others and wrinkles her nose, "Then where's my Sloane?" She smiles at the three of them and holds a hand out, "I'm gonna go look for her, give me a few minutes!"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben frowns more, his brows furrowing, "Here, let me help you..." He carefully helps him up onto his feet, "Talk to me before you go back out there, what happened?"

Carson smirks against his lips and quickly deepens the kiss, running her tongue along his bottom lip.

Kai raises his brows, "Oh, okay.." He looks at Rose nervously.

Sloane is still outside on the patio, curled up on a chair and looking out at the view, not having the heart go back inside, worried she'll have another fit in front of them.

Mei smiles at him, "Do you wanna dance too?"

Henry's eyes widen as he sees Jacob and Carson and then he looks at Jack's reaction, "Jack.."

😈🐶🏑✨ Chase frowns and shrugs his shoulders, “Yeah...I don’t know.”

Rose nods at Evie, “Yeah, go look for her. Do you want me to come with?”

Sam smiles and glances over at the others, “Well..for one I’m not the best dancer and two, I feel like there’s a fight about to happen.”

Jack stops her dancing and narrows her eyes at them and speaks loudly, “Why the fuck are you so obsessed with me, Carson? Go make out somewhere else, I don’t know why you feel to need to be right on top of us.”

💙😳😏 Nolan frowns at Ben as he slowly gets up and gives his friend a small hug as he sighs, "We were dancing and then, I.. She kinda jumped back and left. I swear I didn't touch her inappropriately or anything, Ben. I don't.. I don't know what I did." Nolan runs a hand through his hair and bites his lip, "And then I couldn't see you anywhere and it triggered an attack. God damn it!" He exhales sharply and looks down angrily, "I was doing better.."

Evie starts to nod but hears Jack raise her voice and makes a face, "Yeesh, you might be needed more in here. I'll be quick!" She waves to them before looking around a couple of rooms with no luck. She eventually heads towards the back and pokes her head outside, "Sloane? Are you out here?"

Jacob is so lost in kissing Carson that he doesn't notice Jack's raised voice right away but once he recognizes his sister's voice he snaps out of it and pulls back from Carson and sighs at his sister, "Jesus, Jack, take it easy.."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben listens Nolan as he returns the hug, rubbing his back comfortingly and he half smiles at his comment about not touching her inappropriately cause he knows Nolan would never and the thought didn't even cross his mind. His smile quickly fades when he hears Nolan get upset again and he frowns, pulling back. "Nolan look at me. You didn't do anything wrong. Sloane must've had a good reason to run off because she really likes you. I saw you two, and you were doing great. And you just said that there was something wrong, so it wasn't you. I promise." He moves his hand to cup the side of Nolan's head, "You are still doing great, you got overwhelmed being here by yourself. It's okay, and you're okay now. I promise. I've got you. You're safe in my house."

Sloane raises her brows as she hears Evie's voice and she quickly wipes at her under eyes before perking up, forcing a smile. "Yeah, I'm over here!" She calls out from where she's seated.

Carson pulls back when Jacob does and her eyebrows raise before laughs at Jack, tilting her head to the side. "Yeah, Jesus, Jack. Why are you getting so upset? This is your brother. " She looks at Henry and smiles, "Hey, Henrizzle, why does your girlfriend hate me so much?"

Kai looks at Rose and takes her hand, bringing her into the other room to see what's going on.

Henry sighs and puts his arm around Jack's waist, drawing her back, "Jack, stop giving them attention."

Mei raises her brows, "Do we go in there or stay out of it?"

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose raises her eyebrows as she and Chase follow Kai to see all the commotion, “Oh jeez. This isn’t as chill as I was hoping tonight would be.”

Jack tries to shift out of Henry’s arms, “Because all you try to do is get involved in my life. Flirting my boyfriend then trying to get with my brother. Hey Jacob, why does is your girlfriend so obsessed with me? And why are you going along with it?” She narrows her eyes at them.

Sam raises his brows and grabs his snack plate again, filling it with the popcorn before holding it out to Mei, “It’s safer outside of the boxing ring. Unless something happens with Henry, let’s watch.”

💙😳😏 Nolan continues to frown but listens to Ben and nods, "Thank you. I feel safe now. I'm just glad I got in here before anyone else saw me lose it."

Evie perks up at the sound of Sloane's voice and follows it until she sees her and has a seat next to her, "What is up, girl! What are you doing out here by yourself?"

Jacob shakes his head with a groan at Jack, "She's not my girlfriend but she's fun be around. Who I hang out with is none of your business, especially with the company you keep."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben pats his shoulder, "Me too, you're good. And you were doing really well with Sloane outside before. I noticed." He smiles, "Want me to help you find her?"

Sloane smiles a little, "Oh, just needed a break from being around everyone. An introvert energy recharge."

Carson purses her lips to fight a laugh but one comes out anyways, "I don't flirt with your boyfriend, Jackie. Been there, done that. Why are you so threatened by me? Jacob isn't."

Kai looks at Rose and Chase, "I'm not gonna lie, I've been waiting for this."

Mei stays close to Sam and laughs, shaking her head before starting to eat popcorn as she watches.

Henry wraps his arms around Jack to secure her back more, "Jack, stop, he's your brother."

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack shifts in Henry’s arms as she waves her hand at Carson, “You know what..you aren’t worth it. But you.” She points at Jacob and narrows her eyes, “You have no reason to be an asshole to Henry. He’s been nothing but respectful and kind to everyone. Unlike some people. So don’t you dare try and act like he’s some bad guy because that’s far from the truth.”

Chase hums softly as he watches for a moment before quietly slipping away to walk around the house alone. Rose laughs and shakes her head at Kai.

Sam widens his eyes a little and whispers under his breath to Mei, “Go Jack.”

💙😳😏 Nolan smiles shyly and rubs his cheek, "You saw that hey? I'm trying so hard to be chill around her but every time she's around me I feel like I'm turning into a pile of goo, in a good way. His smile turns thoughtful as he shrugs, "I've never really felt that before.." He trails off thoughtfully and nods, "Yeah, I think I'm ready. Thank you, Ben. Seriously.."

Evie smiles at her understandingly, "Ah, got it. Are you having a good time tonight?"

Jacob glares at Jack and crosses his arms over his chest, "Not all of us are under his spell, Jack. But this isn't even really about him! It's about you! Like it always has to be, doesn't it?! It's always gotta be the Jack show and if you're not along for the ride you're as good as nothing." He looks around at everyone watching them and shakes his head angrily as he starts to head towards the front door, "Forget this, I knew I shouldn't have come tonight."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben watches Nolan with a grin, not wanting to say too much too soon, "You're welcome. Come on, let's go." He leads Nolan out of the bathroom but they go a different way to go outside so they miss out on the fight going on.

Sloane smiles at Evie, "Yeah, I am. Evie, don't be mad at me, but I have a big crush on your step-nephew. Like a big, big one."

Carson looks at Jacob with wide eyes and then at Jack, "Get over your irrational issues with me and fix your issues with your brother..." She shakes her head at her and crosses her arms over her chest.

Henry frowns and whispers to Jack, "Go after him, Jack, I don't want you to have problems with your brother because of me..."

Kai looks at Rose and nods, "Jacob's got a little bit of an edge to him, I admire that."

Mei looks at Sam with wide eyes, "This is crazy."

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack stares at her brother in surprise before he walks away. She shoots a glare at Carson before turning to Henry, “Okay...” She pecks his lips gently before going to follow her brother, “Not so fast.” Jack takes his arm and pulls him away from the party.

Rose nods in surprise, “Yeah, who knew?” She looks around and hums, “Well hey at least Chase yelled at us like that..yet.”

Sam eats more popcorn and shakes his head, “So crazy.”

💙😳😏 Nolan hums softly as they walk and then lets out a small laugh as he remembers something, "So you guys really got my step-aunt her own place? That wasn't some weird fever dream I had?"

Evie puts a gentle hand on Sloane's shoulder as she smiles fondly, "Oh gosh, I can't imagine ever being mad at you. But seriously?" She wrinkles her nose and makes a face before giggling, "It's so weird to me! I swear I'll try to get over my revulsion towards him, but it's sort of genetic. At the end of the day, if you're happy, I'm happy."

Jacob lets out an exasperated breath as he lets Jack pull him in the opposite direction, "What do you want Jack? I'm leaving, you win."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben laughs and nods, "We did. She deserves it. Being with Kai and Chase without Rose would've been too much for her, she needs her own space."

Sloane smiles at her and laughs softly, "I appreciate that, but I will never understand the two of you not liking each other. You know, you're actually pretty similar. Very sweet, thoughtful of others, smart, great smiles." She laughs and lightly knocks her side into Evie's, "he just makes me feel like I can be myself."

Kai furrows his brows, "Speaking of, where is he?"

Mei looks at Sam, "I thought this stuff just happened in the movies."

Henry returns the kiss and watches her go after Jacob before giving Carson a look. "Can you stop baiting her, please?" Carson looks at Henry with wide eyes, "She hates me for no reason, Henry. Jacob is my friend, you're my friend, I haven't done anything to her." Henry sighs, "I know you're not flirting with me and that Jacob is your friend, but this.." he motions to the area around them, "Was you trying to get a rise out of her and I don't appreciate it."

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack shakes her head at him, “I’m not trying to get you to leave. Look, I don’t care if you hang out with Carson. I don’t like her, she tries to get a rise out of me but whatever.” She shrugs her shoulders, “And I don’t know why you feel the need to join in with her to piss me off. But fine, but don’t bring Henry into it. I don’t know what your problem is with him. So please enlighten me.”

Rose shrugs and shakes her head, “He must’ve slipped out during the fight.”

Sam shakes his head and laughs, “Same. Especially since it’s not like fist fights that we had on the isle. It’s just insults and threats.”

💙😳😏 Nolan chuckles at Ben, "Are you sure it's not the other way around and the boys can't wait to have a girl free zone?"

Evie grins widely at the mention of her smile and bumps Sloane back playfully, "I don't think we're there yet. Buuut seeing you happy like this makes me all for it. You should always feel free to be yourself, that's important to me.

Jacob bites his lip to fight a frown and shakes his head, "What do you care? It won't change how you feel about him so there's no point."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben laughs, "I'm positive." He notices Sloane and Evie on the patio and nods to them, "Speaking of the devil. Your girl is talking to your step-aunt right now."

Sloane smiles, "Maybe one day soon then." Her small falls a little, "Thanks, E. I want to but.. you know who kinda made that hard for me."

Kai sighs, "I know I need to give him space, but I wish he would just talk to us."

Mei raises her brows, "Did you ever get into a fist fight?"

Carson purses her lips, "Fine, I won't start anything anymore. But that doesn't mean if she starts something that I won't finish it." Henry sighs heavily, "I hope it won't come to that." He holds his hand out for her to shake, "Cause I'll choose her." Carson humphs and shakes his hand, "Then you better warn her."

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack crosses her arms as she stares at him expectantly, “No, it won’t. But maybe you two can squash whatever it is.”

Rose sighs with him as she sips her drink, “I know but I’ve been in his shoes. Different but with walls up, he’ll talk to you. You know he will. But it’s a lot for tonight.”

Sam chuckles and blushes, “No, never actually.”

💙😳😏 Nolan raises his eyebrows as he follows Ben's gaze and purses his lips together, "Oh. Hm.. She doesn't look upset. Maybe I shouldn't barge in."

Evie frowns as she takes Sloane's hand in hers comfortingly and shakes her head, narrowing her eyes, "I want to turn he who shall not be named into a toad! But that would still be too kind."

Jacob sighs as he looks down, "It's not that simple, Jack! He's overshadowed me multiple times and now that he's with you, it.. it feels personal."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben gives him a look and laughs, "Nolan, we're going over there. You two need to talk, come on. I got your back." He keeps leading Nolan over to them.

Sloane half smiles at Evie, "Thank you... That's why I like being around Nolan. He just makes me forget about everything." She sees Nolan and Ben in the distance and she gently squeezes Evie's hand, "I actually need to go apologize to him." She gives Evie a kiss on the cheek and smiles, "Thanks for coming over to talk to me, and I'm going to find you later because we have to talk about you. For now, Ben and I are gonna swap places." She gives her an appreciative hand squeeze before getting up and meeting Ben and Nolan halfway. "Hey..." She says nervously to them with a small smile, "Ben, can I steal Nolan for a minute?"

Ben nods and smiles, "of course." He gives Nolan a reassuring squeeze on the shoulder before going to sit with Evie, "How you feeling?" He asks with a sympathetic smile.

Sloane looks back at Nolan, "Before you say anything, um, I just want to apologize again for running out. I-" She cuts herself off and looks down as tears prick at her eyes, "I just.. the last time I started to have tics in front of someone I liked, they used it to mock and ridicule me and I didn't want you to see me like that."

Kai nods his head, "I know, I just can't help but worry."

Mei looks at Sam and smiles, "Good, cause if anyone tried to hit you, they'd have to fight me next and we'd crush them."

Henry looks at Carson, "I'm gonna go wait for Jack and you should go wait for Jacob, but we have to do it separately." Carson rolls her eyes, "Yeah, yeah, I'm going." She goes to the couch and plops down, not wanting to leave without Jacob.

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack raises her brows at him and shakes her head, “How has he overshadowed you?”

Rose squeezes Kai’s shoulder with smile, “I know but you always put us before yourself. Focus on you.”

Sam grins and nods his head, “And you’re way tougher than me. You’d kick their ass.”

💙😳😏 Nolan follows Ben nervously, not sure what to expect. When Sloane approaches them he smiles but remains a little tense as Ben goes over to Evie. Once Sloane starts explaining he frowns while listening and shakes his head, "But.. what? Why would someone do that? What's happening to you isn't your fault, you can't help it. Believe me, I know what that's like on some level.."

Evie squeezes Sloane's hand back as she leaves and lets out a sigh of relief when Ben sits with her, "Honestly? I'm not sure.. Ben puts his arm around the back of Evie's chair and looks at her, "Well, I told him that I'm the one who told you about his feelings and to go after you.. so it was a half truth. I think he'll be okay, he just does need his space and time. He thinks everyone is babying him for some reason."

Mei laughs and kisses his shoulder, "Well, they have to be taught a lesson."

He hasn’t taken any of that away for you.” Jack squeezes his shoulders and shakes her head, “Also, he’s not the reason you are feeling like that. That’s because of me I guess. Dad..is you know, dad. And tough on you. If it wasn’t Henry then it would be someone else you’d be projecting this on and that’s not healthy. But actually..you and Henry are much more similar than you think.”

Rose smiles at Kai and wraps her arm around him, “I know. And we love you and want you happy. Forget about me and my never ending drama. Evie and Chase..what a mess they’ve been. What do you want?”

Sam rubs her back and chuckles, “And you’d teach them. I know that’s for sure. You’re tough, Mei.”

💙😳😏 Nolan stares at her intently and gently puts his hands on her shoulders as he speaks, "I promise you, Sloane, I will never ever make fun of you for having a ticcing fit." He drops his hands and fidgets nervously, "I, uh, I get really bad panic attacks, sometimes out of nowhere, and I used to just let it overwhelm me but now I have coping methods and Ben's usually able to help pull me out of it.. Now I'll be honest, I don't know a whole lot about Tourettes, but if you need a buddy to help you through something, I'm open."

Evie nods as she listens and runs a hand through her hair, "Hm, okay.. Chase has always had this protective layer to him, sort of like Rose I guess. And Kai and I are easier to get through to which we all know but I've never had this issue with Chase before.. I think that's what hurts and is the most confusing. I just want to be there for him because I care, you know?"

Jacob drops his head to look at the floor once he feels Jack's hands on his shoulders, unable to look at her directly at the mention of their dad. But he shakes his head and grumbles, "How are we similar? I would never steal a girl from another guy and I definitely wouldn't cheat to win an award for academics."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane looks at Nolan and she takes his hands into hers as she listens to him. "Thank you... They don't hurt or anything, and a lot of the times I don't even notice them. My tics are more motor than verbal. So when Kennedy and Grant yell things at me, it's not-- that's not how it is for me. That's why when my shoulder ticked when we were dancing, I ran off. And if you need another buddy to help during panic attacks, I'm here for you too."

Ben nods his head as he listens, "I know what you mean. I think that's how all three of you are feeling about it right now. But now that you know about Chase... how do you feel?"

Kai bites his lip as he looks at Rose, "I don't know..."

Mei smiles and kisses his cheek, "Thank you." Henry comes up to them as he waits for Jack and sighs, "This is why I don't go out."

He’s annoyingly smart like you are.” She laughs softly and shrugs, “I mean that his dad has put the same pressure and expectations on him just like ours has to you. Except his dad is much worse and way meaner.”

Rose taps Kai’s nose and smiles, “You’ll figure it out but you need to let us make our mistakes and be selfish. You deserve it.”

Sam smiles at Mei before looking up at his brother, “Oh hey, what’s going on? You okay?”

💙😳😏 Nolan lets out a soft breath as Sloane takes his hands in his and he listens, "Those guys are assholes, that's a given. And it's good to know you aren't in pain when it happens. But next time you have tics in public, you don't need to run off. If anyone has a problem with something you can't control and I'm around, they'll regret it, okay?"

Evie bites her lip at Ben's question and takes a few moments to think. After a minute or so she shrugs one shoulder as she sighs, "I've never thought about him that way. Or maybe I have and thought it wasn't possible because he's always been there like family. The four of us have been a unit since we were kids and I can't imagine loving Rose or Kai any differently than I do right now. Do I think Chase is attractive? Of course! I'd have to be blind to admit otherwise, but as for romantic feelings, I.. I'm not sure. This isn't something I ever expected.."

Jacob furrows his brows and shakes his head, "No, that can't be right. Henry Westgate is not a natural academic, we know this?" He looks at Jack sadly, "I never told you this, but I was dating Odessa Tremaine awhile back. It wasn't too serious and we kept it rather quiet but we were having fun and I thought everything was going well.. Then out of the blue she ghosted me, I mean fully cut off communication and then next thing I know she's tagging Henry in posts everywhere as if they'd been friendly for much longer than our relationship. It.. it made my blood boil."

Ben listens to her and nods, "No one is expecting you to turn feelings on overnight. It would be ideal, but you need time to process too. And, you don't have to feel that way too. Don't force yourself because it's what everyone wants. Trust yourself, okay?"

Kai wrinkles his nose at Rose and he playfully sighs heavily, "I'll try. But I can't make any promises."

Henry shrugs, "I told Jack to go work things out with Jacob."

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack raises her brows as she listens to him before shaking her head, “Henry won best scholar at the frat formal. He loves books just as much as Mom does. He’s smart, Jake.” She sighs softly and shrugs her shoulders, “I didn’t know that, but there’s no confirmation that is what happened. You should talk to him about that instead of assuming. He may have a good reason and if he didn’t, give him a chance to apologize. Please..for me?”

Rose reaches up and ruffle his hair with a grin, “Aw come on, Seaward. If you don’t, I’m gonna force ya. You don’t want me to do that.”

Sam nods as he sips his drink, “How do you feel about everything though?”

💙😳😏 Nolan smiles to himself as she hugs him and he gently puts his arms around her frame to pull her against him, "No, thank you for being honest with me. I know it's scary and I have my own shit to deal with so I get it."

Evie taps her fingers against her thighs with a nod of her head at Ben, "Thank you, I needed to hear that. It's a lot to take in right now." She sighs and looks at him sadly, "I'm lost, Ben."

Jacob frowns as he struggles to grasp Jack's words, "That.. that doesn't add up for me." He groans as she continues and runs a hand through his hair as he shrugs, "For you? Fine. I'll try to behave. Even if it's the last thing I want to be doing."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles as Nolan hugs her back, drawing her in more. She relaxes in his arms, leaning her head against his shoulder, "I know I'm no Ben, but, I mean it when I say I'm here for you too. I think we understand each other more than we thought."

Ben listens to her and frowns, rubbing her shoulder comfortingly, "Tell me what you mean, Evie. I'll help as much as I can."

Kai makes a face and quickly fixes his hair, "I said I'll trrryyyy." He laughs.

Henry shrugs, "I don't know. Jack hates Carson, Carson likes Jacob, Jacob hates me, I'm friends with Carson, Jack's my girlfriend. It's just a mess."

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack smiles with a nod, “I promise he’s a good person. I know that I’m not the best judgement all the time but c’mon you’re friends with Carson.” She jokes as she nudges her hand against his. “Thank you though. Please just give him a chance and I’ll play nice with her.”

Rose grins and finishes her drink, “Lets go find Chase.”

Sam raises his brows and shakes his head, “I don’t know how you keep up.”

💙😳😏 Nolan continues to hug Sloane as he nods, "I think you might be right. I've just become really closed off to most people who aren't Ben.. Especially after going through a crappy break up. I know I've said this millions of times but I am trying."

Evie frowns as she tries to articulate her thoughts, "Well, now I'm going through all of these moments in my mind and wondering if I treated Chase a certain way because I subconsciously knew how he felt, and what if I took advantage of that.." She shakes her head and gives Ben a sad look, "That would be cruel of me and I'm not cruel, Ben, I swear I'm not. As much as I love her, I'm not like my mom.."

Jacob rolls his eyes at his sister, "She's pretty and fun and makes me feel like I matter when she's around so sue me." He sighs softly before nodding and putting his arms out hesitantly, "Fine, fine, fine! But first, Pan hug. We're overdue."

Henry laughs, "Me neither." Mei gives him a sympathetic smile.

Rose nods to him and starts to walk around.

Sam smiles at Mei and shrugs with Henry, “They will sort it out hopefully.”

Evie nods as she listens to Ben and feels her bottom lip start to quiver as he comforts her, "I do love him, of course I do. I guess I've never allowed myself to think about the possibility of anything more."

Jacob hugs his sister and sighs, "Ugh, you wish. Just because you think you might be right this one time.." He manages to crack a small smile as he drops his arms and shoves his hands in his pockets, "I don't want to talk to him in front of everyone though."

💙😳😏 Nolan furrows his brows as he shakes his head, "Night's not ruined at all. Quite the opposite actually." He smiles at her as he swings their hands a little bit.

Evie hugs Ben as she tries not to cry, "I know.. I'm just scared of what if I do try to put myself out there with him and it backfires and then our friendship is ruined!"

Jacob shrugs as he looks down, "Maybe later? I don't know if I wanna go back to the group at all right now. These are your people, Jack. Not mine.."

Ben frowns and rubs her back, "Evie, nothing is going to ruin your friendship. The bond the four of you have is unbreakable, and if it doesn't work then at least you tried. Trying is one of the bravest things people can do."

Kai sighs softly, "Technically I'm innocent, but I doubt he'll think of it that way."

Evie sniffles a little and lets out a deep breath, "I know you're right. At least I hope so." She pats Ben's back as she sits up straighter and looks at him, "I think we both know I need to have a serious talk with Chase but tonight is not the time. It won't be easy."

Jacob looks at her for a moment before shaking his head, "Go, go back to everyone else and have fun. If Carson wants to come chill with me, she can."

Henry shrugs and smiles, "Just wanted to remind you that you're one of the best things to come off that Isle." Mei smiles and leans her head against Sam's shoulder, "He's not wrong."

Henry grins and squeezes his brother to him, "don't let anyone change you ever."

And of course, let’s rejoin the party people, you are a guest of honor after all!” Jacob feels his phone buzz and texts Carson back: I’m at the end of the main hallway near the bedrooms, bring booze”

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles widely and nods, "My brothers and I all have them. But even two pegasus having a colt doesn't guarantee another pegasus. I'd want all of my kids to have one too."

Ben smiles at her, "I can't turn it off." He brings her back inside and looks around, "I wonder where Rose went off to."

Carson goes into the kitchen and grabs rum and whiskey for herself and Jacob before going down the hall to find him. She smiles as she approaches, "Hey, Pan. Why so glum?" She sits down beside him and holds out the bottle of whiskey.

Kai sighs, "Chase, being mad at us isn't going to do anything."

Henry smiles and puts his arm around Jack, "Welcome back."

Mei grins at Sam and kisses his cheek.

Evie laughs as she follows Ben inside and then smiles around at everyone before humming in confusion, "Chase and Kai are missing too. Coincidence?" Jacob looks up at the sound of Carson's voice and lets out a small laugh as she hands him the bottle of whiskey, "You brought the good stuff, thanks." He takes a sip and passes it back to her, "Everything all good back there?"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles at him, "You're more than welcome to borrow one of my brothers. They are overprotective and loud-- well, you know Declan cause he's in the frat. Ben seems like an amazing brother adjacent."

Ben sighs and looks at Evie, "Should we try and find them?"

Carson smiles and takes a swig from the bottle and shrugs, "I guess. I told Henry I wouldn't start anything with your sister anymore. And I'm sorry, you did say you didn't want to upset her, I just didn't think it would go that way."

Kai looks at Chase, "Don't you think Evie is owed the truth? And this way she knows instead of you resenting her for not requiting feelings that you didn't let her know you had."

Henry raises his brows and follows Jack.

Mei looks at Sam and smiles, "Tonight has been incredibly eventful."

Jack leads him to the couch and sighs as she sits down, leaning into him.

Evie gives him an amused look and nods her head, "It's the right thing to do, don't you think?" Jacob nods as he listens and then bumps her shoulder with his as he laughs, "You kissed me."

Carson raises her brows and laughs, "I thought she would get mad at Henry for defending me!" She looks at him, "You're not mad that I did, are you?"

Kai sighs softly, "It was more than that, we all know it. You were supportive for Rose, for Evie you ran off."

With you and your siblings, have you always gotten along in that picture perfect Auradon sense or have there been times where you wish you were an only child?" He bites his lip and looks down awkwardly, "Sorry, that's kind of a dark question." Evie follows Ben away from where Heck and Samei are and she hears voices down the hall which turn out to be Jacson so she turns to Ben and hums, "Where do you think they went? I know your house is big but they could have gone that far!" Jacob nods, "I thought so too. But I'm starting to realize I may have a warped perception of things these days.. I don't know." He looks at her for a moment before slowly shaking his head, "Nah, I'm not mad. You're a good kisser and I was having fun until Volcano Jack erupted."

Stuff none of us could live up to, so we were always competing with each other. But being an only child might have made those pressures worse."

Ben hums, "Well, there's one room down here that offers optimal privacy, and I have a feeling its the one with the door shut right now." He nods his head to the theater.

Carson raises her brows when he mentions having a warped perception. She smirks when Jacob says she's a good kisser, and laughs at the Volcano Jack comment. "Well, I'm glad you're not mad. And that you admit that I'm a good kisser."

Henry's brows furrow, "Some vendetta against your brother? I don't know what you're talking about, I didn't even know the guy til I started dating you."

Mei shrugs and smiles, "Cuddle in my bed?"

Jack shrugs with a little, “He mentioned that you won some academics award and he thought you cheated. I told him that’s definitely not true.”

My mom always urged me to learn more domestic things like how to cook and take care of a household, but my dad wanted, well I'm sure he still wants me to behave as if I was training for the Royal Guard. Felt like I was being pulled in different directions and it got to the point where they both sort of gave up once it was clear I wasn't really down with either of their plans for me." Evie looks in the direction of the theater and laughs softly, "Alright, if they're not in there I might just park myself in a seat and watch something. I could use the distraction." Jacob puts out his hand for the bottle and gives her a playful look, "Yeah, yeah, don't let it go to your head. Isn't that what you told me?"

Sam looks over at them and shrugs, “I can just text him.”

💙😳😏 Nolan furrows his brows slightly as he shrugs, "I wish I knew. I'm almost finished with college and I still don't have a clue as to my, uh, path in life. Most days it just feels like I'm going through the motions." Evie cringes as she hears their raised voices and looks at Ben, "We have to stop this, don't we.." Jacob takes a quick sip of whiskey and lets out a laugh, "Well, whatever the case, it was nice in the moment, okay?"

Evie frowns as they walk in and looks at the three of them, "Now what exactly is going on in here?! We could hear you guys from the hall!" Mei smiles and texts Ben a thank you as they walk out.

Chase interrupts her, “We were fighting. Well, bickering. I just don’t appreciate them trying to get involved in my business and no one seems to get that.”

Jack shrugs and shakes her head, “Well..I think it goes a little deeper. I personally think he’s projecting. Our dad is really tough on him. He wants Jacob to be just like him and he’s always been quieter and softer, not..well like me. He feels like he’s never enough. And a lot of that is because of me.”

💙😳😏 Nolan smiles at her and stops walking for a moment to look at her, "You know what I just noticed?"

Evie crosses her arms over her chest as she looks between them all and finally at Chase after he speaks firmly, "Well you all need to stop it. We are a family and your business is our business because we care about you! That's just how it is! I get that this is different and the way things happened tonight aren't ideal but here we are!" Jacob takes another small sip of whiskey and starts to laugh again, "Oh that's not a problem for me. I'm feeling the buzz now and you're pretty and no one else is around. The question is do you want me to?"

Jacob sets the bottle of whiskey down next to him as he leans in closer to Carson and cups her face in his hand.

Ben looks at them, "You guys... I have never seen you all so... pouty. The four of you have a bond unlike anyone else in all of Auradon, unlike any of the other kids from the Isle. Living apart is not going to affect that. If anything, it'll bring you closer together because you'll have to make the effort to see each other. And knowing you four, it won't take much effort, it'll come naturally to you to make plans. Don't take this so hard."

Evie lets go of him and tilts her head towards the door, "Then come on, I've held you hostage long enough."

Jacob raises his eyebrows at the mention of his sister and nods as he calls out, "Oh Jaaaacques, where are thee?"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane looks up at him and she smiles, "Well.. as long as it's a good way. And I really am okay with just being friends, as long as I can still hold your hand and kiss your cheek from time to time."

Ben nods his head and smiles at her, "That's a good perspective to have." They go into the kitchen and he spots Nolan and Sloane, smiling a proud smile.

Kai walks close to her, "Rose, you know I'm happy for you, right?"

Carson laughs loudly and leads him towards where she last saw Jack.

Henry's brows raise, "Did you hear that?"

Jack furrows her brows and looks over her shoulder, “Oh no..”

💙😳😏 Nolan looks at her shyly as he grins, “That sounds perfect to me for now, thank you..”

Evie makes a noise at the sight of Sloane and Nolan and hides behind Ben as she giggles softly. “Oh my..”

Jacob saunters into the room with Carson and sees Jack on the couch, “It is time I bid adieu, dear sister!” He waves like a Genovian prince as he approaches Jack and drops his head to kiss the top of her head.

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane grins widely at how he says for now and she squeezes his hand. She looks up and sees Ben and Evie, "Look, other humans! We were wondering you all got abducted."

Ben laughs and shakes his head at Evie before pulling her in more with him, "No, just dealing with some stuff, but we're back now."

Kai nods and smiles, "Good, cause I am. And for Evie."

Carson stands back as she watches him, covering her mouth to hide her laughter.

Henry watches Jacob with wide eyes and then looks at Carson who shrugs her shoulders before mouthing, lightweight.

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose grins at him, “I know. You’re the best, Kai.”

Jack laughs and raises her brows as she stands, “Okay drunkie. Get home and go to bed.” She puts her hands on his shoulders to steady him before looking at Carson with a small smile, “Sorry about earlier. It won’t happen again.”

💙😳😏 Nolan blinks at the mention of more people but lets out a sigh of relief when he sees Ben, wrinkling his nose at Evie, "Oh, hey! Yeah, we thought we missed the end of the party."

Evie grins at Sloane knowingly and ignores Nolan as she enters the kitchen more, "Like I was saying to Ben, I'm in need of some snacks and a bit of water, don't mind me."

Jacob sways a little on the spot but steadies with Jack's help, grinning at the girls drunkenly before hiccuping, "Aww.."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles and moves her other hand to hold Nolan's too. "Ohh, get a plate we can share?" She asks hopefully to Evie.

Ben stands next to Nolan and squeezes his shoulder, "We'd never abandon you."

Kai goes into the kitchen with Rose and looks at Nolan and Sloane before smirking at Rose and whispering, "Aww, look, your favorite person might end up being your cousin-in-law."

Carson raises her brows at Jack's apology and nods her head, "It's forgiven. And don't worry, I'll get him home safe."

Henry smiles at Jack gratefully.

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose wrinkles her nose and laughs at Kai, whispering back, “If he’s gonna be in my life rather him be with Sloane than psycho Cora.”

Jack glances back at Henry and smiles before nodding at Carson, “Thanks.” She squeezes her brother’s arm, “Have a good night, Jake. Don’t forget to take some Advil tomorrow.”

💙😳😏 Evie bites her lip as she looks at Sloane and Nolan and nods slowly, "Of course. Any preferences?"

Nolan squeezes Sloane's hands and shakes his head quickly at Evie's question. He chuckles at Ben, "I'd be surprised if you did."

Jacob throws up the peace sign as he laughs, "Nighty night."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane shakes her head and smiles, "Whatever you're having." She makes sure Nolan isn't looking when she gives Evie a knowing look.

Ben smiles at him, "Are you having fun?"

Kai chuckles and holds his fist up for Rose to bump against his.

Carson brings her arm back around Jacob, "Come on, Pan. You're gonna sleep well tonight." She looks at Jack, "Just so you know. I'm not flirting with Henry, like ever. We're just friends. I won't start anything with you anymore though."

Henry lets out a breath of relief and nods.

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose bumps her fist against his and grins, “Evie make us some too.”

Jack smiles and nods her head, “Thanks, I appreciate that.”

💙😳😏 Jacob leans into Carson and groans a little, "The room is getting shiny.. shi.. spinny. I'm spinning."

Nolan nods his head at Ben's question, "I am, yeah. All things considered, you know. I'm feeling a lot better right now."

Evie giggles as Rose chimes in and she clears her throat as she speaks up, "Plates of snacks for all it is!" She smiles to herself as she starts fixing up plates with a good variety of snacks on each, humming to herself as she sets them up on the opposite counter, "Completed plates will be here, help yourself!"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Carson starts to stumble as she tries to keep Jacob up and Henry raises his brows, "Did you drive here?" She nods her head yes and Henry bites his lip, "May I?" Carson looks at Jacob, "Close your eyes, Pan. You're gonna go on a little ride." Henry goes over to her and hoists Jacob over his shoulder, "Jack, wanna come with?"

Ben smiles and squeezes his shoulder again, "Good. Thinks look like they're going well." He smirks and quirks a brow.

Kai goes over to get food, "Evie, you are a queen!"

Sloane squeezes Nolan's hand and smiles, "I'll be right back." She gets off the counter and lets go of his hand to get some food.

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack laughs softly as he picks up her brother, “Yeah, let me thank the future king and queen so we don’t seem rude. I’ll meet you outside?”

Rose grins and goes over to the food, “Your inner Snow White is showing, E.”

💙😳😏 Jacob obliges and closes his eyes then laughs as he's lifted up, "Wheeee!"

Nolan feels his cheeks flush slightly and nods at Sloane before giving Ben a look, "Yes, all good very good here. How about whatever you were dealing with?"

Evie hums to herself as she organizes chips and popcorn and other snacks for everyone, smiling at Kai and grabbing the plate Rose was about to take as she gives her a look, "As much as I love being compared to a princess, read the room, Rosie!"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Carson's eyes widen and she laughs, "Oh, Jakey." Henry laughs and nods his head at Jack, "Meet you out there." He leaves with Carson, carrying Jacob to her car.

Ben grins and pokes Nolan's cheek before shrugging, "It's calmed down, still not over though."

Sloane laughs and steals a snack as she stands next to Evie, "He might think it's funny."

😈🐶🏑✨ Jack goes into the kitchen and waves her hands, “Hey guys, my brother got a little drunkie. We’re gonna take him home before he ruins your amazing place.” She laughs and grabs a chip, “For the road..thanks for having us!”

Rose looks up as Jack comes in and nods her head with a laugh, “Good luck. You’re welcome.”

💙😳😏 Nolan swats Ben's hand away playfully as he laughs, "Glad to have missed it. We just went for a walk outside."

Evie grins at Sloane and Rose and sets up the last plate for the amount of people around, "Everyone's good?" She doesn't grab a plate for herself yet until everyone else has and goes to get a glass of water first.

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Henry gets Jacob into the car and waits for Jack. Carson thanks him and then takes Jacob home.

Ben laughs softly, "Thanks for coming!" He looks at Nolan and smirks, "How was the walk?"

Sloane looks at Rose and smiles, "So what's your favorite room in the whole house?"

Kai nods, "That is a good question."

Rose hums as eats some of the snacks, “Well..our bedroom. There’s an amazing fireplace and balcony looking over the backyard.”

💙😳😏 Nolan gives Ben an amused look and then shrugs as he grins but keeps his voice low so the others can't hear them, "It was nice.. She uh, asked what happened with Cora and I straight up couldn't talk about it so there's that. Overall, really really good, though."

Evie sips her water as she listens to Sloane and Kai and as Rose answers she grabs a plate of snacks, munching on some popcorn, "That sounds like a dream! This whole house, it's just.. It's truly magical, Rose."

Ben listens to him and nods, "That's okay. I mean, I wasn't ready to talk about what happened to Rose for weeks each time we ended things. I don't think Sloane would fault you for that."

Sloane grins widely, "Wow, so every night is basically a romantic getaway but its your own home."

Kai laughs, "I'm moving in."

Rose laughs and nods at Sloane, “Exactly. I can show you guys if you want.” She nods to the stairs.

💙😳😏 Nolan nods and smiles a little nervously, "I hope not.. And then she said something else that made me kinda panic internally but in a good way." Evie squeals with excitement at Rose's suggestion, "Oh, we must! I'd love to see it!"

Sloane grins, "Yes please." Kai nods and smiles, "Definitely, I need to see it for myself."

Henry laughs and returns the kiss, "Extremely proud."

Rose laughs with a nod, “Follow me.” She starts towards the stairs.

💙😳😏 Evie grins at Kai and Sloane as they follow Rose and she links arms with Sloane along the way, wiggling her eyebrows at her, "Sooo..."

Nolan notices the rest of them leaving the room and lets out a breath once it's just him and Ben, "It's honestly nothing, but she straight up told me she had a crush on me and that she's told Evie as much, which I already knew she kinda did but hearing her say it out loud and confirming it made my heart race.." Nolan cuts off his own rambling with a nervous laugh.

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane laughs and looks at her, "Eviiieee. We're just friends for now, taking our time after going through bad shit with bad people." Kai walks close to them, "Are we talking about Nolan? I wanna know too."

Ben nods his head as he listens to him and grins, "Awww, Nolan." He gives him a pat on the back, "Look at you, you lady's man. And I didn't even have to intervene at all!"

Henry takes Jack's hand and takes her home.

💙😳😏 Nolan rubs his cheeks anxiously and clears his throat, "I feel really good about this, Ben. I know I'm not ready to be in another relationship right now but she's patient and I'm starting to become optimistic.."

"Mhm.." Evie gives Sloane a playful look and giggles at Kai and Rose's reactions. "I know I don't want all the details but you've got to give us more than that!" She smiles as they enter the bedroom and looks around, "Oh wow, Rose, it's even more beautiful than I imagined..."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben smiles and hugs him, patting his back, “I’m really happy for you, Nolan. And I know that Sloane is the type of girl who says what she means and means what she says. You can trust her. It’s okay to let yourself be optimistic.”

Sloane smiles, “There’s not much to share. He’s sweet to me and I feel comfortable with him but we’re gonna be friends while we both mend broken hearts but he agreed to hand holding a cheek kisses.” She laughs and looks around with a grin, “Wow!” Kai grins, “That sounds really sweet.” He looks at the room and smiles, “This is insane.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose smiles at them and nods her head as she plops down on the bed, “Happy for you, Sloane. You deserve a nice guy even if he’s been incredibly frustrating to me in the past.”

💙😳😏 Nolan smiles to himself as he hugs Ben back and nods, "I really hope you're right.. It's just tough sometimes."

Evie tries to keep the smile on her face as she listens and she laughs softly at Rose's comments, "Couldn't have said it better myself, Rose." She sits down on the bed and lays on her back as she sighs softly, "Guys, Sloane doesn't know anything about the Chase stuff tonight.."

Kai sighs, “Chase hates us.”

Ben pulls back and nods, “I know. But it’ll be worth it in the end. You’ll have another person. Just like I have you and Rose.”

💙😳😏 Nolan sighs as he looks down at his feet for a moment, "I thought I'd already found that.. We all know how that turned out."

Evie closes her eyes for a moment then speaks up, "Well, long story short, Chase has or had feelings for me for a very, very long time and everyone seems to have known about it except for me and now I'm lost in this limbo of not knowing how I feel or what to do next."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ He frowns and squeezes his shoulder, “She wasn’t right for you. That doesn’t mean no one is. And if you and Sloane are starting as friends, that might be for the best.”

Sloane’s eyes widen, “You finally found out? Wow.. I mean.. I guess he didn’t react very well. You still need time to think things over, both of you. He has to get used to you knowing, and you have to get used to knowing his feelings. But... now you at least have the opportunity to act. When you didn’t know, you probably wouldn’t even consider it because of all your guys’s friendships.” Kai nods his head in agreement.

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose leans back to lay next to Evie and smiles, “She’s right. You wouldn’t have thought about him, would you?”

💙😳😏 Nolan nods a little as he listens to Ben and lets out a deep breath, "Yeah, that's what feels right at the moment so I'm trying to go with it and not overthink it too much."

Evie bites on her lip as Sloane speaks and at Rose's question she sighs, "I probably wouldn't have, no.. I've always set my sights on royalty and especially ever since coming to Auradon, the thought of someone from the Isle hasn't even crossed my mind, let alone one of my best friends.." She rests her hands over her stomach as she fidgets with her fingers, "But now I can't help but think about how things might have been different if he'd just told me once it started.."

Sloane half smiles, “Which is probably really hard to do when all you do is hear about your friendship. I don’t think that it’s that you don’t or never felt that way.. just that you were never given a chance to.”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose squeezes her hand gently and smiles, “I think truthfully it’s about where you go from here. You can dwell on what ifs and whys but it’s about moving forward with this knowledge. Whether you continue to be friends or if you think you could want more. It’s going to be hard for bit. He feels uncomfortable and is putting walls up but things will level out, E.”

💙😳😏 Nolan hums thoughtfully before grabbing a handful of chips and letting out a laugh, "Funny how it would be more appropriate for me to be your protector in the grand scheme of things. Yet it always seems to be the other way around.." He smiles at Ben fondly, "You're the best, bro."

Evie smiles as she listens to them all and then lets out a soft groans as she covers her face with her hands for a moment, "What would I do without you guys? I know you're all right about this, and it'll be an adjustment between Chase and I, but I'm optimistic this will only make us stronger."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben grins at him, "I know that you're my protector too, you've proved that plenty of times. But our friendship isn't one sided, and I'll always be here for you, too." His eyes crinkle in the corners as he grins wider, "So are you, Nol. So are you."

Kai half smiles and rubs her shoulder gently, "Just take your time, Evie. No matter what, we'll all still be here supporting you."

💙😳😏 Nolan smiles widely before munching on some chips and hopping up on the counter to sit, "So overall, would you consider tonight a success?"

Evie thanks Kai with a smile and then shakes her head as she laughs at Rose, "That's definitely true. I'd be reduced to a puddle of overwhelming emotions."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben watches him and leans back against the counter, nodding his head, "I think so. "I mean, you and Sloane got to spend time together. You're even sitting on the counter like she was before." He smirks at him and winks before continuing, "Chase didn't try to kick any of our asses. Evie now knows about Chase's feelings, and no one broke anything."

Sloane laughs and squeezes Evie's hand, "That's what we're here for."

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose laughs and gets up off the bed, “On the better things. Like the view from our balcony.”

💙😳😏 Nolan looks down shyly as Ben mentions Sloane and raises his eyebrows, "That still sounds.. eventful."

Evie sits up more and gives Sloane a quick hug before getting up to follow Rose, "Ooh, yes please!"

Kai grins, “I was hoping you’d offer.” Sloane follows suit and grins.

💙😳😏 Nolan thinks for a moment before nodding and hopping off the counter, "Yeah, sure. Why not?"

Evie gasps a little as they go onto the balcony and she grins, "I'm speechless.."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben smiles and nods for Nolan to follow him. They go upstairs and he peeks into their bedroom, and laughs as he sees everyone on the balcony. “Come on, you have to see this view,” he grins at Nolan before following them outside, going over to Rose and wrapping his arms around her.

Sloane leans on the railing as she looks out, “This is gorgeous.”

Kai grins widely, “Wow. No wonder you two picked this place.”

💙😳😏 Nolan follows Ben up and once they get to the balcony he stands next to Sloane on the opposite side of Evie, "Hey.."

Sloane smiles at Evie and then hears Nolan, smiling at him, “Hey.. we walked all the way out there.” She points off in the distance.

Evie smiles to herself as she hums softly before biting her lip and looking at Kai, "Part of me feels like I should head home soon.. I know he doesn't need checking up on but I can't help it.."

Ben kisses Rose’s temple and smiles.

💙😳😏 Nolan lightly rests his head on top of Sloane's after he shuffles closer to her and chuckles, "I'm not that surprised, actually. What's that saying? Time flies when you're having fun.”

Evie continues to bite down on her lip for a moment before sighing, "Can we do it tomorrow? As excited as I am, I don't want to leave Chase alone." She smiles at Kai and then at Rose, "I can wait one more day."

Kai nods his head, "No of course, I meant at home."

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose nods her head and smiles, “Ben and I will come help you pack up some tomorrow then take you to see it?”

💙😳😏 Nolan feels himself getting shy again and clears his throat as he stands up straighter but stays close to Sloane, smiling at her, "By the way, thanks for hanging out with me so much tonight, and while I'm at it I might as well apologize again for any weirdness on my part."

Evie gradually nods at Kai and Rosen and gives them all a grateful look, "I think that would work perfectly, yes. If it's not too much trouble, of course."

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane looks up at him and smiles fondly, “You’re welcome. And don’t apologize, there was no weirdness on your part.” She gently squeezes his arm, “But I should be heading out now.”

Kai smiles at Evie, “Let’s go enjoy our last night home, Evie. I’ll even make you hot chocolate with fluff.”

Evie grins at Ben and then loops her arm through Kai's as she giggles, "You're the sweetest. Now I know you're an actual prince, Ben, but I swear this one gives you a run for your money sometimes."

Ben laughs and shrugs innocently, "Kai is the best. I'll come second to him any time."

Kai rolls his eyes and laughs, "Stop. Besides, you'll be king soon enough."

Ben smiles, "Then there won't be any competition?" He teases and leads everyone out of the room and downstairs.

💙😳😏 Nolan nods as he lets Sloane lead him along with the others, sliding his fingers through hers and giving her hand a squeeze.

Evie grins at them and nudges Kai excitedly, "Prince Kai has a lovely ring to it, we've got to make it happen!"

Ben laughs, bringing them into the foyer, "I'll have power, but I'm not sure if I'll have that amount of power. Though, Sloane, if you marry into royalty then you're more than likely to have that title. Kai, I can knight you?"

Kai grins, "Sir Kai Seaward sounds just as nice."

Evie hugs Ben tightly and then gives Rose a hug just as tight, "Thank you both so much for having us! This place is beautiful, I'm so happy for you!" She grins widely at them and shakes her head, "And just thank you for.. everything, you know. I'll see you tomorrow."

💙😳😏 Nolan starts to frown when Sloane lets go of his hand but he realizes it's to say bye to everyone else. Chuckling a little to himself he looks at Ben and mimics him before pulling him into a hug, "Thanks for having me, and thanks for earlier, you know.."

Evie waits for Sloane to finish hugging Rose and giggles as she goes over to her, "I want a hug too just because!"

Sloane laughs and wraps Evie up in her arms, “A hug goodbye is warranted!”

💙😳😏 Evie nods as she pulls back from Sloane, "Oh definitely! Text me when you get home safe!" She makes eye contact with Kai and grins at him, "Sorry for the hold up, I'm coming!" Nolan smiles politely with a nod of his head at Rose and then raises his eyebrows at Sloane, "All ready to head out?"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Sloane smiles and nods at Evie, “I will.” She goes back over to Nolan and grins as she immediately holds his hand again, “Ready.” She waves bye to everyone before heading out with him.

Kai offers Evie his arm, “Bye, guys. Thanks for having us, we’ll see you tomorrow!”

😈🐶🏑✨ Rose leads them out to their front door, “See you guys soon.”

💙😳😏 Nolan gives everyone a wave before leaving with Sloane.

Evie takes Kai's arm with a grin and blows a kiss to Rosen as they head out the door, "Love you, thanks again! See you tomorrow!"

👑⚡🐙😑🥋☠️ Ben smiles, “See you tomorrow!” He waves back and watches everyone leave before heading back in with Rose.
