This was a play written especially for him after all, so Xie Lian watched it attentively. If he must say so earnestly, it wasn’t a bad play. The actors looked good, the story was good; just, as one of the ones portrayed, he had a very very small criticism: the two protagonists seemed to be overly close.
The one who played him was a really good actor, but every time he opened his mouth to call “San Lang”, while the tone wasn’t up and down and full of yearning, Xie Lian thought it was even more unsettling than when “Lady Wind Master” called “Lord Water Master” “hubbyyyyy” earlier. Also, there seemed to be too many little gestures: hooking arms, hugging shoulders, carrying him; somehow, there was something that was not right.
However, if he really thought about it, when he called San Lang, that was indeed the way he’d call him; those intimate gestures really did seem to have been done too. He didn’t think there was anything wrong with it at the time, and watching it now, technically there wasn’t anything wrong still. Looking at the other heavenly officials, although they condemned it as nonsense on their lips, they seemed to be fully enjoying the show; watching with their eyes unmoving, their interest enthusiastic, so Xie Lian kept his mouth shut.
I believe this is what some people call: "caught in 4k"

First of all @potionsprefect I apologize for getting to this so late. I had exams, they have a habit of appearing on the worst times ever.
Second of all, this is my first ever prompt request!

The Blind Drunk
Book: Open Heart (Post Book 3) [Fated Universe]
Pairing: Dr. Ethan Ramsey x F!MC {Angel Martin} (Feat. Jackie Varma)

Premise: This is the first time ever he's seen her this drunk.
"Hellooooooo!" Angel giggled when she stumbled into the apartment, and Ethan grunted when he caught her in his arms.
"Thanks again, Varma." Ethan said.
"It's no problem." Jackie replied and turned to leave.
"Byeeeeee Jaaaaackiiiieeeee." She dragged out the words and giggled at the end.
"Bye."
Ethan slowly dragged her over to the kitchen island, sat her down on one of the bar stools and went to grab her some water when she stood up again.
"Whoa!" Ethan caught her again to stop her from falling over.
"You know," Angel started, wobbling as she spoke, "There's this guy that I work with. He's very handsome. Also very hot! I like him soooooo much! He's kind of an asshole though. You look like him."
"I am him." Ethan smirked. Once again, setting her down on the bar stool. That's when he realized that was the first time he had ever seen her completely drunk. She'd gotten a little more than tipsy yes, but this drunk? Never. He was going to have a blast teasing her in the morning.
"Oh?" She tilted her head. She giggled again, and said, "You're very hot. Will you go on a date with me? Like a first date?"
"Angel, we're married. We've been for almost a year now. We had our first date years ago. Although, I wouldn't mind if you planned our next date." He stated with a smile, knowing she wouldn't remember any of this in the morning.
"What?!" Angel gasped, as if just then realising that she was a married woman. After a second of thinking, she launched herself at him, "Hubbyyyyy!" She yelled and giggled.
"Yes. Hubby." He hugged her back with a wider smile, knowing she only called him that when she was feeling extra romantic.
"Let's celebrate!" She giggled and started walking over to the cabinet that held all their drinks.
"Can we celebrate with water?" He asked, grabbing and pulling her back to him.
She gasped again, "HOW can you even say something like that?! Celebration must always be done with alcohol." She said with an exaggerated pouty face.
Ethan quickly formulated a plan and said, "You, go sit on the couch, and I'll surprise you with a drink."
"Ooooh! Yay! I love surprises!" She giggled, and walked to the couch, with Ethan trailing behind her.
Once he was sure she was safely seated on the couch, he went to the kitchen, filled two glasses with water and took them outside to his wife.
She drank her glass as soon as she got it, and climbed into Ethan's lap straddling him.
"Let's sleep together." She said, and kissed him.
"Not that I mind, but how much have you had to drink?"
"I don't know. I lost count after the fifth one. Come to bed with me." She kissed his neck.
He thought about it for a few seconds, before picking her up bridal style, to carry her to their bedroom, knowing full well that she would be out cold by the time he walked in there. He was right. He carefully set her down on the bed, removed her heels, and tucked her in, before getting into bed himself.
The next morning Angel woke up with a pounding headache, she sat up in bed to find herself in the dress from last night, she was confused and decided to ask her husband about it. She turned to Ethan's side of the bed and found it empty. She begrudgingly got out of bed. She removed the dress and put one of Ethan's T-shirts on before going outside.
A soft song was playing through the speakers and Ethan was humming along with it while cooking breakfast.
"What's got you so happy?" She asked him, and he turned around with a soft smile on his face, as opposed to the scowl on hers.
"Well, good morning." He smiled and motioned to the bar where he had an aspirin, a glass of water and a cup of coffee sitting.
"Oh, I love you!" She took the aspirin and drank the coffee.
After she was done with her coffee, she asked him, "Is there ice cream?"
"There is but you're not getting any." He replied, sitting next to her.
"Why?" She glared at him.
"It's nine o'clock in the frickin morning, you're asking me why you won't have any ice cream?"
She narrowed her eyes in challenge but then said, "Fine."
Ethan smiled victoriously, when Angel leaned in to kiss him. He closed his eyes in anticipation, but the kiss never came, instead he heard the drawer open, he opened his eyes to find his wife sitting in front of him with a tub of ice cream in hand, "Oh, that's just not fair!"
She rolled her eyes and continued eating the ice cream.
"Share some." Ethan said as he picked up a spoon.
"Nope!" Angel moved the pint away from him.
He watched her for a few seconds, and then she plopped the pint right in the middle, to eat with him.
"So, where are we going for our next date?" Ethan asked her.
"I planned the last one, isn't it your turn now?" Angel replied, confused.
"I mean you wanted to plan the next one, that's why I asked."
"When did I even say that?"
"Last night."
"What even happened last night? I remember drinking with everyone and then I don't remember anything."
He chuckled and showed her the texts she sent him the previous night.
"These are so bad!" She exclaimed and Ethan struggled to hold in his laughter.
"I called you literal trash!" Ethan wanted to laugh even more seeing the look on her face.
"What else did I do?"
Now Ethan was laughing the hardest he had ever laughed.
"You started by telling me about this guy you work with, who you find very handsome and hot and you like, but the guy is an asshole. Then you tell me that I look like him. When I told you that I am the one you're talking about, you asked me out on a date. A first date to be precise. When I reminded you that we're married, it was like you had just found out. You launched yourself at me and decided you wanted to celebrate our marriage with more drinks. I had to give you the pretense of surprising you with a drink to get you to have a glass of water."
"Christ! How many drinks did I have?"
"I don't know. You told me you lost count after the fifth. Then you proceeded to try and seduce me."
"Did it work?"
"No. I carried you to the bedroom, you were out cold by the time I stepped in. I removed your heels and tucked you in."
"God! I have never been this drunk!"
"Certainly not in front of me."
"You must love me so much to put up with that!"
"I do. And I also found out that apparently you are a very giggly drunk."
"Shut up!"
"Sorry! I love you."
"I love you too." She finally kissed him.

As Amyeong says, Kayden is ONLY THIS POWERFUL BECAUSE HE IS INJURED, so, does this means that Kayden's current power level is just his defense mechanism against those hunts him on the first chapters? Is there any greater amount of his power he can show off? On a scale of 1-100, how would Kayden rate his power here on this scene?
