the old guard is a compelling movie because on one hand it’s a pretty fun action flick with an interesting premise, and on the other it sits like an elephant in the back of my mind because i know if i give even the slightest bit of credence to joe and nicky’s cross-century enemies-to-lovers murdering-eachother-since-the-crusades 100k slow burn extravaganza i will go literally insane

Tag game! -10 favorite characters
I’ve been tagged by @nedzuku. Thanks a ton!
RULES: Tell me your favorite character from 10 fictional works (Shows, Movies, Novels, Etc.) & tag 10 people!
1. Ozpin (RWBY). Shady-as-fuck, tragic as shit (either he’s immortal or he’s just another in a long line of people, but either way he’s trapped as a chess piece in this game of good v evil), means well but is busy paving that road to hell with all his good intentions. And he comes across as so fucking solitary. hnnng, my clockwork child is precious and must be protected, fite me, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH
2. Qrow Branwen (RWBY). TRAGIC ALCOHOLIC BIRB SON. I fucking love this loser, holy shit. Loves his family, loves his husband, has no sense of self-preservation, and is a complete smartass.
3. Shinigami (Soul Eater). Oh hey ,it’s my favorite trope- shady-as-fuck, powerful characters that are tragic and winging their way to hell and end up DYING WHY DO ALL THE GUYS I LOVE DIE *cough* For being a living inkblot he’s got personality and cheer and I love this moron so much.
4. Spirit Albarn (Soul Eater). If Shinigami = Ozpin in my ‘questionable taste in fictional men’, then Spirit = Qrow. Alcoholic dorks associated with scythes that love their families and are voiced by Vicks Lasagna. Fun fact, the more I love a character the more hell I put them through in fanfic :D AND I LOVE SPIRIT A LOT
5. Deku (Boku no Hero Academia). Oh god this precious and pure child. Deku’s smile brings rainbows and makes it rain kittens, I swear.
6. Oscar Pine (RWBY). MY FARMING BABY. Honestly, he looks like Qrow and Ozpin’s bastard love child and he’s got the smartass attitude to match. CRWBY, can we get a sequel with cloqwork family?
7. Reeve Tuesti (FF7). Cait Sith’s creator, shady-as-fuck, powerful, road to hell- there’s a real theme with my favorites, you may notice. Reeve’s a complete fucking dork, but he’s an AWESOME dork, and I love him to bits.
... and I ran out of steam. :D;;;;;; Ahahahahahaa, I rambled enough anyway.
