Gabe grinned when she got something she had been waiting on for a while. Over the lockdown she had been helping Austin go through lines and scenes. A lot of the scenes where he had to kiss someone had yet to be filmed and he just was slightly uneasy with the kissing random extras now that he had Gabe. Having the few kisses with Oliva was different, she had her soulmate and so there was nothing but respect between them and doing their jobs. 

She had looked around on the internet and took some time choosing but she had found 2 rings he could keep on for the filming as they were something she thought Elvis would wear. And she had checked with Catherine and she had agreed that they would work with his wardrobe. Austin was out on the balcony with his guitar, playing some of the songs he would need to play in the next few days. Since he was out there, she opened the box and pulled the two rings out. They were in a small square box with fluff inside, each ring was in their own bag and they both were engraved. 

One looked like a king's crown, silver with black on it. The inside was engraved with ‘My Other Half’. He was playing the King of Rock and Roll after all. And he was the king of her world. The second ring almost looked like a crest ring, or a class ring style but just was more than that. It had small blue turquoise stones all around the large blue gem and in the center of that gem, was a silver design with a sapphire inside. Then along the sides, more small turquoise stones sat along some swirls. The inside of this one had been engraved with ‘My Soulmate My Love’. They looked so much better in person than they did online. The pictures didn’t do them justice. The smile on her face was huge as she gently put the rings back in their small bags and then back in the box. Her eyes flicked over to his slender frame out on the balcony. He was so handsome and always made her stomach warm with love. She chewed on the inside of her lip for a moment before deciding to give them to him now. It was something she always had issues with, she would get people gifts and then want to give them right away, wanting to see their reactions. Always wanting to make them happy. Gabriel stepped out onto the balcony and sat down in the chair next to him, happy to just watch him play for now. Austin shot her a smile, and once he finished the song he was playing he set his guitar to the side. “Hello love.” His deep timber always curled around and comforted her. He reached over and laced his fingers with hers. “What do you have there?” He noticed the small white box she had in her hand when she had stepped out. Gabe looked down at the box, her smile growing as she looked back up at him. “I know you said that you were a little uncomfortable kissing those random girls for the International concert show scenes. Well I got you something you can keep on you while filming that will be just us. I talked to Catherine and she already said they would work with all the outfits you are wearing.” She said as she slowly handed the small box to him. His brows furrowed with interest and curiosity as he gently took the box. Once he had the box in his hand, he pulled his fingers from hers and gently opened it. His eyes flicked to hers before gently taking one of the bags out, setting the box on the table. Long nimble fingers opened the small bag and gently pulled the ring out. A large smile formed on his face as he looked at the silver and black ring. When he saw the engraving in it, he bit his lip softly and gently reached out and cupped her cheek with his free hand, thumb brushing under her eye. Austin pulled his hand back and slid the ring on to his right pointer finger and it fit perfectly. “I thought that would be perfect since you are playing EP, the King after all. And you are mine.” She said softly, so glad that it fit perfectly. 

He let out a soft chuckle and leaned over and kissed her. “You are the queen of my world as well, Love.” Austin then reached out and grabbed the second small bag and when he slid this one out, his eyes grew at the beauty of the ring. When he flipped it, reading the inscription on this one, loving tears filled his eyes and he slid it on his right ring finger. That one fit just as perfectly as the other. Once it was in place, he reached out both hands and cupped Gabe’s face gently and leaned over kissing her deeply. Gabe’s eyes slid shut and she rested her hands on his wrists. They only pulled apart when the need for oxygen became too much. He rested his forehead against hers, placing soft small kisses on her lips. “I can’t believe you did this. These are amazing and perfect Dove. Thank you so much.” He whispered against her lips. 

“I’m so happy they fit and you love them.” She responded, nuzzling her nose against his. “I won’t take them off. Being able to have these, staying connected to you even when you can’t be in scenes with me, I’ll have you with me.” Austin gave her another soft kiss before pulling back some, just gazing at her, his beautiful perfect soulmate. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ On the first day of filming some of the scenes from the International, he made sure to wear the blue ring on his left thumb. And he did that because when he would have to kiss the women in the crowd, he cupped their faces and right before kissing them, he slid his thumb over their lips and kissed his ring more than their lips. 

There were a few times that the women frowned when he let them go, but with the different camera angles they were getting, Baz didn’t call cut and have them redo it each time. When the scenes would be done, he would head to the sidelines, take the towel Gabe was holding for him and give her a loving kiss. “You were amazing, Aus. Always outdoing yourself each time.” Gabe said with a grin, taking a corner of the towel and wiping away a few beads of sweat from near his eyes. “Thanks Dove. Glad you are here.” His eyes crinkled with a smile as she did that. She wrapped her arms around him, careful of the gems and designs on the jumpsuit he was wearing. Austin hugged her back and kissed her forehead. It wasn’t long before Baz announced they would be doing one more scene at the International stage before the end of the night. “Guess I need to go get changed. Coming with?” He asked, smiling down at Gabe. When she nodded, he turned them and started towards the trailer all of the outfits of his for the entire movie were. Catherine met them there and when they got inside, she pulled out the white jumpsuit with the rope belt. Gabe’s eyes roved over the jumpsuit and bit her tongue so as not to blurt out what she thought of it. Although her eyes probably gave it away when a smirk took over Austin’s face. They took the suit to his trailer, so that Austin could get a quick shower to get rid of the sweat so he wouldn’t be sticking to the new suit. Gabe gently helped Austin slide out of the current jumpsuit as he was still damp and then hung it up on a hanger while he was quick in the bathroom. When Austin stepped back out of the small bathroom, he just needed to finish drying his hair then he was ready to get put back together by hair and makeup. They were just waiting for him to get back to the set and they would get him ready quickly. 

Gabe handed him the jumpsuit and held onto the belt while he got into it and when he slid his arms in, she helped him pull it up over his shoulders. Once he was zipped in, she slid the belt around and attached it. He slid his arms around her and gave her a hug, burying his face in her neck. “Love you.” He murmured against her skin. “I love you to Aus.” She threaded her fingers through his hair. Austin pulled back, keeping one arm around her as he guided them out of the trailer back towards set where they would redo his makeup and hair.

The Exterminating Angel teeters occasionally on the brink of heavy-handed satire -- the sheep entering the now-blocked church at the film's end, for example -- but somehow Luis Buñuel always recovers his balance. I think it's because he knows that surrealism -- the movement which gave him birth -- must always be underpinned by a dutiful semi-documentary realism, that we must never be entirely sure whether the improbable characters we're encountering and the unlikely events we're witnessing are external to us or are products of our own unstable minds. Take the déjà vu effect near the beginning of the film, when we witness the guests arriving at the mansion of the Nobiles and ascending the staircase only to watch the same scene repeated almost immediately from a somewhat different angle. For a moment we wonder if the projectionist has put on the wrong reel or the film editor has forgotten to excise the repeated scene. Or perhaps we wonder if we dozed off for a second and missed something that would explain the repetition. But no, the director must be playing with us, we conclude. That, or we're trapped in his own world, just as he is to trap the guests inside a room later, never bothering to provide an explanation of the force that keeps them there. It's one of those tricks that can only work in the movies, where we, like the house guests, have gathered and found themselves unable to escape. We can choose to escape from the experience The Exterminating Angel presents to us -- nothing prevents us from leaving the theater or turning off the video -- but we don't. So there's much to be said for the observation that the house guests are us, that Buñuel's point is not just that the Spanish bourgeoisie of the Franco years were seething in their own corruption and inertia, but also that we are all trapped by something in our psyches and/or societies that limits and lames us.

Como será a eternidade? Essa é uma pergunta que certamente milhares de pessoas fazem a si mesmas. Mas a resposta fica vaga para muitos. Entretanto, existe um indicador que pode revelar um pouco da morada eterna daqueles cuja vida está sob o senhorio de Jesus Cristo. Falando sobre esse tema, o cantor e compositor Filipe Marques faz o lançamento independente da canção “Eternidade”. Ele conta que no dia 18 de agosto de 2018, começaram as gravações do projeto “Glorioso”, composto por dez canções que exaltam o poder de Deus. Dentre essas canções, destaca-se a música “Eternidade”, que mostra “como será o nosso destino como filhos de Deus, a eternidade com o Senhor”. Filipe continua dizendo que a canção nasceu de uma leitura intimista do Evangelho de João feita em seis meses. Durante aproximadamente três meses, a leitura do último momento de Jesus com os discípulos o impactou profundamente, levando-o a escrever a canção “Eternidade”: “Ela começa com o verso ‘Não se turbe o coração, crede em Deus, crede em mim. Na casa de meu pai há muitas moradas, eu vou para o Pai, mas voltarei e onde estiver, estejais vós também’. Nesse lugar, não haverá choro ou doenças, assim, ‘onde os mudos cantarão uma canção ao Cordeiro de Deus para sempre, onde os coxos correrão e os cegos verão a face do Senhor, que brilha mais que o Sol’”. Durante todo esse período, o Senhor ministrava ao seu coração em momentos cotidianos, como no trabalho, na igreja e ao dirigir, “sobre como seria a nossa vivência nesse lugar. Essa experiência quebrantou meu coração e me mostrou o lugar para qual estamos destinados”. Para a gravação deste projeto, Filipe enfrentou muitos e grandes desafios que quase inviabilizaram a sua realização. Uma semana antes da primeira data marcada, ele se acidentou e quebrou a clavícula, precisando remarcar a gravação. Quatro meses depois, uma semana antes da nova data, ele sofreu um acidente automobilístico com o capotamento do veículo: “Nesse momento, vimos a poderosa mão de Deus impedindo que o veículo descesse um penhasco. Desde então, a gravação foi um milagre do Senhor. No dia exato, amanheci totalmente rouco e enfrentamos vários outros empecilhos. Na hora da gravação, vimos a glória, a bondade e o amor de Deus marcando e transformando vidas ali presentes.” Esse trabalho já está disponibilizado em todas as plataformas digitais. Ele foi gravado e captado de forma ao vivo e orgânica, na Igreja Batista Templo de Adoração (IBTA), em Belo Horizonte (MG). A direção do projeto “Eternidade” é da Panda.mov. David Alexander Hurtado extiende la gran dinastía ecuatoriana en la marcha

David Alexander Hurtado, de 24 años, prolongó la gran dinastía ecuatoriana en la marcha masculina de 20 km al triunfar este domingo 29 de octubre en Santiago de Chile, en la reanudación del programa de atletismo de los XIX Juegos Deportivos Panamericanos. Hurtado marcó 1:19:20 y estableció el nuevo récord de los Juegos, dejando atrás el registro de 1:20:17 que el mexicano Bernardo Segura mantenía desde 1999 en Winnipeg. Se trata de la quinta dorada para Ecuador en esta especialidad, de las cuales las tres primeras correspondieron al mejor marchista de la historia –a nivel mundial- Jefferson Pérez, quien fue vencedor en los Panamericanos de 1995, 2003 y 2007, además de bronce en 1999 (cuando ganó Segura). Otro ecuatoriano, Brian Daniel Pintado, defendía este domingo su corona obtenida en Lima 2019 y era uno de los favoritos tras su gran performance mundialista de agosto en Budapest, cuando se proclamó subcampeón de los 35 km. con récord sudamericano y 4° en 20km con marca personal de 1:18:26. Pintado luchó por la punta con Hurtado y el brasileño Caio Oliveira de Sena Bonfim –dos veces bronce mundialista- y pasaron en 39:40 el parcial de los 10 km. Pero tres kilómetros más adelante, Pintado abandonó y Hurtado consiguió desprenderse de Caio. Aunque este siguió presionando, no pudo alcanzar la línea del flamante campeón. Caio marcó 1:19:24 para llevarse la medalla de plata, al igual que en Lima 2019, que se suma al bronce de Toronto 2015. El tercer puesto fue para el mexicano Andrés Olivas con 1:19:56, otro que ratificó la tradición de su país en esta especialidad (ganaron cinco veces en los Panamericanos). Ganó la Copa Nacional en Machala con 1:19:24 y posteriormente en Taicang (China) logró una marca personal de 1:18:45. En el Mundial de Budapest, donde se había lucido su compatriota Pintado, fue 19° con 1:20:07.
