Smash or Pass: Group Fic
Summary: My primaries decide to have a game after the others have gone to sleep. Set towards the beginning of Act 1.
“Smash or pass?” There was an incredulous look on her face as Gwenifar repeated the words the tiefling just spoke. The others had retired from the fire for the evening, settling in to sleep, train, or stalk the night. So, it was the six of them left; Briza, Durante, Frits, Gwenifar, Talilah and Tavinkas. And Durante was always teeming with some sort of idea to idle the time away.
“Yeah, we say if we’d sleep with any of the others or not,” Durante said, having lounged beside the fire, taking up space which had been vacated. His tail flipped idly, seeming to be intrigued by the concept. “Be a good way to break the ice, I think.” He smirked at her, blue eyes glowing from beneath his brow. “What’s wrong, Ilmatari? Scared?” Gwenifar gave a bit of a scoff, rolling her eyes and refusing to answer, ignoring the slight warmth to her cheeks.
“It’s fine; it’s just a silly way to the pass the time,” Talilah chimed in, setting her lute to the side. “Let him get it out of his system now, aye?”
“I don’t think he’ll ever get whatever’s going on out of his system,” Briza said, sarcasm dripping from her tone as she rested back on her elbows.
“C’mon, don’t be dull,” Durante whined, his tail moving slightly faster in mild irritation.
“It could be amusing,” Frits agreed, enthusiastically. “It won’t do any harm, would it?”
“He won’t let it go if we don’t humor him,” Tavinkas sighed. He gave Durante a pointed look, the flames making the shadows dance on his face. “We’ll play your silly game if you behave yourself.”
“Me? Misbehave?” There was a chorus of remarks on that. “Fine, fine, I will…Do my best.”
“Well, Durante, it was your idea,” Gwenifar pointed out. “You go first. Who out of our companions would you smash or pass?”
“Easy, smash all of them,” he said, sitting up. ““Smash for all of them. At least once. Maybe multiple at the same time. Depends on if any of them would be interested in that.”
“Really? All of them?” Talilah asked, a bit of an amused smirk on her face. “No thoughts? Just libido?”
“Of course! And you can join too, no worries,” Durante told her with a wink. “Who’s next?”
“I’ll be as simple as Durante,” Briza said. “I would smash Karlach, Shadowheart, and Lae’zel. Pass on Gale, Wyll, and Astarion. I don’t do men.”
“That’s fair, with what I’ve dealt with with them lately,” Talilah grumbled.
“Oh, so would you go only for the ladies, Talilah?” Durante asked, a sly look on his face. She glared at him for a moment then gave a defeated sigh.
“No, let me think,” she relented. “Hm, I might pass on Gale. He’s a bit too…Teachery for me.”
“You say that like it’s a bad thing,” Tavinkas countered.
“Just because someone’s a bit…Bookish doesn’t mean they would be…Less intellectual in bed,” Gwenifar added.
“I am in agreement,” Frits said, offended by the thought.
“Well, you three can smash him,” Talilah threw back. “Think I’d pass on Shadowheart and Lae’zel. Shadowheart’s a bit too friend-y feeling for me and Lae’zel is…Intense.”
“That’s not a crime!” Durante threw out.
“Wyll’s a smash, for sure,” Talilah continued, ignoring him. “Karlach is a maybe if she could touch. And that leaves…ugh. Astarion.” She said the name with a hint of annoyance. She clearly found something annoying about the rogue, maybe the fact he could pick locks better than her. Everyone stared at her, waiting for her decision. “You know what? Fine. Smash. I want to see if he can back up that attitude of his.” She leaned back, putting her hands behind her. “Because in my experience…They usually can’t.” That earned a bit of a chuckle from Durante, Gwenifar, and Frits, a slight amused smirk from Briza, and a snort from Tavinkas. “What about you, Vin?”
“If you insist,” he sighed and then without a beat “Smash: Gale, Wyll, Shadowheart. Pass: Lae’zel, Karlach, Astarion.”
“Any desire to expand on your choices?” Frits asked.
“No.”
“Well. Then, I suppose I shall take my turn,” Frits began. “Let’s see. Smash Karlach—”
“She would crush you!” Talilah interrupted.
“Not a bad thing, now don’t interrupt,” Frits chided her. “Smash Karlach, possibly Gale, I wouldn’t be opposed to either Shadowheart or Lae’zel. I do believe I would pass on Astarion and Wyll, though. They remind me of two of my siblings in some aspects of personality.”
“Quite understandable,” Gwenifar said, having been quiet most of this time. But that comment drew eyes to her. She looked between the five others, knowing she couldn’t hold off on it anymore. She could feel the heat growing in her cheeks.
“Well?” Durante asked, looking very much like a cat who got the canary.
“I, well you see,” she managed out, trying to consider the options “it’s hard to say at this point! I just haven’t—”
“Oh, gods, don’t tell me you’re one of those ‘I need a connection’ types,” Durante groaned, rolling onto his back. Briza stared at him and shifted her feet in a way to kick up dust onto his face. He sat up, sputtering.
“I need a connection and you can shove your attitude up your arse,” Gwenifar snapped at him.
“You already basically admitted to Gale,” Talilah said, trying to defuse the situation. “It’s just a bit of sillies.”
“Quite right!” Frits said. “Think of it this way; who could you see that connection possibly happening with?”
“Very well then,” Gwenifar said, releasing a huff of a breath. “I suppose possibly with Shadowheart and Lae’zel, perhaps Wyll as well. I don’t think Lae’zel and I would see…Eye to eye on those matters. Astarion as well, for that matter.”
“See? Not that hard,” Durante said. “Now we just need to get you with one and—” He was silenced by a bedroll smacking him in the face.
“Tavinkas said to behave,” Briza said, holding the end of the bedroll. “You’ve had your fun; now go to bed, Durante.”
Durante took the bedroll, glaring at Briza. “Spoiled sport,” he muttered but did as he was told, everyone else following suit.

Hey everyone. Smash or pass for Astarion, Gale, Karlach, Lae'zel, Shadowheart, and Wyll!
Send Smash or Pass + a name and my muse will say if they would smash or pass on that person.
Set during Act I.
"Oh, that's easy," Durante said, leaning back at the campfire. "Smash for all of them. At least once. Maybe multiple at the same time. Depends on if any of them would be interested in that."
"Really? All of them?" Talilah asked.
"You can join too, don't worry," Durante told her with a wink. "What about you?"
"Hm, I think I might pass on Gale, he's too...Teachery for me, you know?" Talilah said.
"You say that like it's a bad thing," Tavinkas remarked dryly.
"Just because someone's a bit...Bookish doesn't mean they would be...Less intellectual in bed," Gwenifar agreed.
"Well you two can smash him, then," Talilah said. "Think I'd pass on Shadowheart and Lae'zel. Shadowheart's a bit too friend-y feeling for me and Lae'zel is...Intense."
"That's not a crime," Durante threw out.
"Wyll's a smash for sure, and Karlach is a maybe if she could touch," Talilah continued, ignoring Durante. "And...Ugh. Astarion." Everyone looked at her, waiting. "You know what? Smash. Just to see if he can actually back up that attitude and then when he fails, laugh about it." Wanting to quickly move on, she turned to Tavinkas. "What about you? you've been quiet aside from Gale."
"If you insist," Tavinkas said, lounging on his side and playing with a strand of grass idly. "Smash: Gale, Wyll, Shadowheart. Pass: Astarion, Karlach, Lae'zel."
"Any reasons?" Talilah waited to hear that.
"No."
All three turned to look at the Ilmatari cleric, who had a slight red hue to her cheeks.
"I—Well," she cleared her throat. "It's hard to say at this point, it's just...I haven't—"
"Oh gods, don't tell me you're one of those 'I need a connection' types," Durante sighed. "That's no fun."
"I need a connection and you can shove your attitude up your arse," Gwenifar snapped at him.
"You already sort of admitted to Gale," Talilah pointed out. "C'mon, it's just a bit of sillies. Who else could you see that connection possibly happen with?"
"Very well then," Gwenifar agreed. "Perhaps Shadowheart and Karlach. I'm not sure, Wyll possibly too? I don't think Lae'zel and I would see very eye to eye on...Those matters. Astarion as well for that matter."
"See, not that hard," Durante said. "Now we just need to get you with one of—"
"They're on their way back," Tavinkas interrupted. "So unless you want Sister Gwenifar to be a brighter shade of red, I suggest you shut up, Durante."

Durante Faust
how high is their sex drive? - It's pretty high. He enjoys sex, he enjoys feeling good. He might even use sex as a means to forget some things. He doesn't view sex as this super magical special thing and isn't that picky about his partners.
how quickly they fall asleep afterwards - fall asleep? Usually he's heading out the door. Yes, he is the kind to bang and ditch. He doesn't want to deal with any possible complications afterwards, after all.
Gwenifar van Hol
how high is their sex drive? - Look, it's not high normally. She's always had her mind preoccupied with other matters and maybe will have a drive with her cycle. But she's not really wanted to act on it because she hasn't found a partner she'd want to. But I do believe if she finds someone who she trusts and is willing to explore options with her to figure out what she likes, her drive could be higher.
how quickly they fall asleep afterwards - you know I'm not sure. It's something I need to explore with her in fic writing using her in game romance, I think. But part of me thinks she might want to stay awake for a bit with aftercare and just...Admiring her partner and pillow talking before snuggling up to sleep.
Talilah Bluethorn
how high is their sex drive? - I wouldn't say it's like...nymphomaniac high but it's a healthy level. But it's not enough where she just automatically jumps bones, you know? The mood has to be right.
how quickly they fall asleep afterwards - She's a high elf, so sleep isn't a thing for her. They fall into a trance, with maybe sometimes sleeping but they don't like sleeping. So if she were to fall asleep, I feel like it would take some time.
Tavinkas
how high is their sex drive? - This is a can of worms for a Durge. I feel like, prior to being tadpoled, sex was one of the few ways he was able to have any kind of intimacy, and Tavinkas craves that so bad. So it was higher, maybe not even in a healthy manner before. But traveling with the group in BG3, where friendships create intimacy, he's getting to a more healthy level, and simmers down a bit.
how quickly they fall asleep afterwards - Before everything, he would fuck himself to exhaustion, just so he could feel something and then feel nothing. But I think, if he were to have a tender partner, who he had other forms of intimacy with, he'd probably like to stay awake just to watch them sleep.
