Another “fun” thing about the new Dash layout: On Firefox, both versions have a number indicator in the tab I have open to my Dash that can show an active number. In the old layout, that number is any new posts that would show up on my Dash, should I choose to refresh; on the new layout, it’s the number of new notes in my Activity feed.

I feel like one of these is more likely to get me to click over to Tumblr than the other.

I finally switched to Firefox and oh my god. Adblockers on mobile. DARK MODE OVERRIDE on mobile. A far prettier UI and better themes. Full customisation.

hey if you want a fancy browser you could try vivaldi. chromium (but what isn't) but its pretty and like only slightly behind vanilla firefox in terms of security

I think it goes without saying you should always read terms and services for things privy to your data like browsers and antivirus.....also learning the difference between what IS tracking you (nord vpn, google chrome) and what isn’t (chromium aka open source shit).
